Yalright Folks! Just wanted to add something here! Had a chat with a guildie after this went up who pointed out what I said regarding the proc on those Rubies. Now, he pointed out and rightly so, the cap on gem procs is x5 of the base item, so what I got shouldn't happen. It did for me a couple months back, hence why it was mentioned, probably a small bug, it hasn't happened since. Didn't really twig it myself because I have had abysmal luck on those procs, once in a blue moon I get a x2, i've only had a x3 a single time so a x8 was like I'd won the lottery and just didn't question it. So again - shouldn't go above x5, but what I said still stands, especially if you've multiple alchemists.
I've just spent 9 months playing cata private server and somehow I still can't seem to get enough cata content 🤣 Keep it coming please. You could literally remake the same video 10x and I'll watch it every time 🤣
Adding to cooking : You can already farm the Epicurean Awards from the Dalaran cooking dailies, so you can buy the Cata recipes as soon as they are available to you. You will need around 95ish. You wont need spices for the recipes. So dont bother collecting it for cata.
@@TheMightyKarrot Perfect ;) Thanks for the idea of maybe leveling my Goblin to be yet another alchemist 😅 Need to get all the transmut CDs. If not for profit, then for self usage. I still hope to get my hands on a recipe for the alchemist drake from archaeology. That's where the profit will come from I hope.
@@Lotuswalker Also something I touched on briefly in the other one when I was talking about archaeology - it should do alright, unlikely to sell every day, but I reckon an insane price will compensate.
One thing to mention with gathering profs as well. Lots of people are flooded with gold from gkdps and mains having double crafting profs. I’m going with skinning / herbing on my new main and just gathering for the first month. You can buy prof leveling kits right now for fairly cheap. And just keep track of what you need for your cata profs and put it aside
For those aiming for an army of alchemists: i got several alchemist/herbalist hunters. Two are transmute masters, one is elixir, one potion. Daily transmutes on them all but.... cant remember the last time I ever got a proc with the two transmute masters... at all.
You didn’t mention the gambling card for inscription. The mysterious fortune card I think it’s called. It’s a good way to make some money as a scribe besides glyphs.
yo maybe its very late comment and i might not get an answer but,if im buying that level boost 80 am i still have to leveling up my profesions(herbalism/mining) from classic aswell? like literaly from level 0 or i can straight leveling up my profesion in woltk/cata?
can i ask you something pls.. i have herbalism and enchanting on my characters and im alll about making gold in cataclysm, i was wondering if it would be better to remove my enchanting and level up mining so i have both herbalism and mining or just keep going with my enchanting herb ?
You guys think is possible to make gold with shadowland expan? so i can buy the next expan? i have try several gold guides in the past, i try them in malganis but nothing sell there, any advice on a server to make gold?
Hello Karrot. do you have any clue what is the minimum level for alchemy transmute in cataclysm? also is tailoring worth it at all anymore? I'n wotlk i could craft different cloths which sold for lucrative amounts.
Hey man, For the Transmute thing, if you mean lvl as in skill lvl, it varies, you start picking up cata transmutes at 485 skill points but some you need to be 525. If you mean player level, you'll need Cata alchemy which i think you need to be lvl 78 to learn (along with having the pre-requisite skill in the prof) For tailoring, there will always be money in the big 3 crafting profs, BoEs are still a thing in cata so those items and the materials needed to make them will definitely have a place - can't say how well they'll sell, that depends on your server mate, but if you're consistent with the prof, your income should be aswell.

Why would glyph prices increase? If the mats stay the same and demand falls, price is going to fall, not increase.
Just like he says in thr video. As the demand falls so does the supply. As there are less the price will go up. Simple supply and demand.
I just paid over 400 g for mortal strike glyph
I paid 250g on Molten armor glyph and another 180g for pyro

I have 47 alchs and they do proc a lot. Like 20% of them procs. But never more then x5
