Nah, don't feel bad! Most of those were PVP, TCG or mega-meta-achievement rewards & given the number of people that actually these mounts, you're doing about as well as the rest of us!! =D Keep on grinding!!
I have around 300 now myself and most of them are rare drops or reps. It's really just not in most peoples interest to grind pvp which is what maybe half the list seems to be made of. PVP, TCG, and mounts you cant actually get anymore. Do not feel bad at all.
There's a few reasons. There's not alot of cross over between PVP and PVE players in WoW. Most people seriously play one or the other. So the list doesn't make sense to most people.
I know it doesn't count anymore but the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider was only ever given to one person, it was a datamined mount sent to a gnome called Narshe who deleted his mechanostrider by accident, he was banned after bragging about it and trying to sell his account
Ummmmm that's not correct at all, the player DID sell the account....blizzard caught wind of it and permanently banned the account after it had already been sold.

Thank you I'm glad you liked it! I felt that way about the mounts too. I didn't want to fall into the trap of excluding mounts based on arbitrary rules that I decided so I just included all of them. But I'll probably go back and do something like the top 25 rarest obtainable mounts or something.
If I remember correctly, a bunch of TCG mounts were pretty heavily duped during the beginning of Warlords. I was able to pick up several TCG mounts for just a couple hundred thousand gold each back then. This may be why the Swift Spectral Tiger is more common than the regular Spectral Tiger. The loot code from the card gives you both copies of the mount, but it makes sense the epic one would be duped more since it's more sought after. The epic nether rocket is likely more common because it's also sold on BMAH, but the blue version is only obtainable with one of the original loot codes, and is usually much more expensive than the epic one if you find it for sale in AH.
I scored the rhino and dragonhawk for next to nothing and still have em. Have the swift zulian tiger. Haven't played in years. I heard they gave out the feldrake and zulian tiger for some drop or something
Insane! I have the Palomino Stallion. I still remember when there was an option to trade it in for the armored version back in 2005. The armor covered the beautiful palomino color, so I opted to keep it original
I think you forgot Ruthless Gladiator's Twilight Drake, i have that one and i tought that one was really rare. Other than that one i have (from rare to less rare) Grievous Gladiator's Cloud Serpent, Spectral Tiger, Wooly White Rhino and X-51 Nether-Rocket X-TREME. amazing video by the way, earned a like and a sub :)
I bought the Swift Brewfest Ram in the first Brewfest in 2007 and have rued not buying the 60% one ever since they made riding skill apply to all mounts. For 16 years I had no idea you could just buy it from the vendor if you were originally eligible. Guess I have to wait another 10 months then.
14:50 For #56 it isn’t the drop rate but you’re more fighting the other people there for your chance to get it. Even though the drop rate is higher than heavenly onyx by 10x (estimated). Not to mention it does have a way longer cooldown of 30 min to an hour. I’ve been farming both since MoP on and off and I haven’t gotten either yet.
This is a very well put together video, great job. I'm surprised this hasn't been (properly) done before, and I'm glad you've been so thorough. I was between top 5 and top 20 world for most mounts until I quit WOD and the legacy mount numbers are a little skewed for sure, especially the Nightsaber, because at least for quite a while you could faction change your character that had the OG mount back and forth to effectively "reroll" - although obviously not cheap, this is what I did to get my Ancient Frostsaber (I had a Frost Ram as I was a dwarf in Vanilla) which I think is the best mount in the game, and I would imagine given that the Nightsaber was very iconic and popular until the new ZG Panther got added in, a fair few got "swapped" this way.
Swift horde wolf/swift alliance steed .. always ride these mounts when I have the chance. It's unfortunate that it doesn't stand out and nobody realizes how rare it really is
Awesome work on this man! I know you wont believe me but on my WoW account I have all of the Legacy mounts except the kodos and the mecha striders. I also have 2 of the top gladiator mounts from WotLK and Cata. Its really funny though that when I pull out ANY of my Legacy mounts no one really cares, especially the rams which are crazy rare, but when I pull out the pvp mounts people notice them right away. Weird huh? Anyways, thanks for this list. Its so cool to see people who really appreciate the time and effort that went into and goes into obtaining these mounts.

Husband has played WoW for like 15yrs. Met me, I got into it, got the Thundering Onyx Serpent from Houlon (~5 tries) and the Heavenly Cloud Serpent from Sha (Logged in for the first time in 2yrs two days ago and got Sha. Maybe 20 tries total) To say hubby was bummed would be an understatement 🤣
Other than the freebie Feldrake I have the Argent Charger, Mottled Drake, Savage Raptor, and Corrupted Hippogryph. The TCG mounts were a lucky purchase at a time when there was a duplication glitch going on, it was probably risky but I bought each of them from the AH for a reasonable price.
You know, with the news update on the MoP/WoD world bosses having their mount drops dramatically increased, I expect the rarity of those mounts - like the Heavenly Oynx Cloud Serpent and Galleon's mount - to drop like flies (much like the Fel Drake will, as well). Not that I'm complaining. I want those mounts!
Omg I got the 99 mount on my first kill of mythic guldan the other day, farming some DK transmog. I didn't even know there was a mount available! Great luck (I have been farming the Kharazan mounts for 2 years now so, life gives and lige gets)
nice, i got the Mythic Blackhand mount from WoD on my first run of that raid, i was so happy getting that as those kind of mounts are infamously low in their drop chance after the initial period.
love rocket got normalized last year to the 1% drop (effective this year) great work doing all the data collecting and the nice visuals! nice to see a good chunk of my stable on here :3 there is a tauren on my server called Apple who has that legacy kodo, the sheer work you put into this it would be a crime not to subscribe!
My theory as to why Invincible didn't make this list is while it might be a rarer drop than some on this list, you can still try for it once per week per character, and more people are trying for it than some on this list. The X-45 you can only try for 14 days a year. I always, only half-jokingly, said the X-45 was rarer than Invincible... didn't realize I was literally right about that.
Invicible was also a weekly drop for high-end raiders. It was definately sold to people at the time as some raiders don't care about mounts It's my go-to still, but I don't even feel it's that special/rare considering the pure drop rate vs years available
I have the Swift Spectral Tiger and my wife has the Spectral. Got them in 2008 right before Wrath launched. Bought a box of cards off ebay hoping for something and pulled the Tiger mid way through opening them.
Back in the days I got the X-51 Xtreme from the TCG when I went to the store to buy some christmas cards for my boss. Well, that account went onto ebay back in 2009 when I stopped playing
I got Shackeled Ur'zul and all the frog mounts. As well as some other still rare mounts. It's interesting to see that something such as the Snapback Scuttler isn't as rare as i thought. Apparently, grind heavy achievement mounts are more appealing mountfarms than droprate or gold bought mounts.

Love the video! I will say if you do see this comment, I would love to see an updated video of this but instead of doing all mounts just do ones that are still obtainable. So maybe remove any mounts that can no longer be obtained in game and any TCG mounts. This would not only be interesting to see what is rare that is still out there, and give people kind of a to do list of maybe some awesome rare mounts that they may not have.

I have the thundering cobalt cloud serpent from Nalak. I was surprised it was rarer then the Sha mount though. I guess I should feel more proud about having it ^^'
It's over 20 percent of the population now. Much higher than before. Data for Azeroth has numbers that are pretty on par with the numbers in this video.
With a spectral tiger, you actually got both with your key. Most people did not know, so they thought you had to choose one or the other. I had a hobby store, so I bought cases for the loot cards. Release day was Friday, but we got the cards in Monday. They added the original vendor on Tuesday maintenance and when each set came out, they would update the vendor on the Tuesday before the release Friday. No rule said I could not open cards, just was not allowed to sell packs or singles or post pictures online. So in the original set I got my turtle mount the morning servers came up. Same with the Spectral Tiger. People saw me with the Tiger before Friday and reported me repeatedly, well over 100 times. GMs would make contact just to ask the details. One mentioned to me, I could get the non-epic one with the same code, so I did. Other people figured it out, but clearly not very many. I would think most got the lower one first and then came back to grab the epic. That's why its so rare, people just didn't realize you could grab both so they did not, but either choice did not preclude you from getting the other if you wanted it.
I love watching this type of video to validate my existence, as I have SOOOOO many of the ones typically at the top of these lists. SEE MOM, I DIDN'T WASTE MY YOUTH AT ALL!!!
When WoW first came out I grinded so hard and got an arctic wolf legacy mount. When the new design came out I just knew not to take the free upgrade because the original arctic mount would become a rarity. When I quit wow I was already getting props from people for having one. 20 years later, sometimes I wish I still had my account so I could log in and flex it from time to time.
probably should have just put the pvp mounts in their own video lol..over half the mounts are gladiator mounts and the lowest count ones are just legacy mounts. What about actual mount drops, like ones from raids and not achievements or vendors. There was only what like maybe 5 mounts in here that actually drop from bosses or rares. I'm curious as to how many players own rare mounts that aren't from a vendor or pvp/pve achievement.
This is a fair point and is actually why I expanded the list to 100. I was originally going to do the top 25 but as you said that’s basically just PvP and glad mounts. I expanded it to 50 and felt similarly so I did 100. I’ll probably pump out another with the stuff that’s still obtainable as that seems to be a common request
@@deedgeYT Yeah straight up mount drops from raids/dungeons would be nice to see, but they probably won't be as low percentage as the ones in your current video...like another commentor said people have been farming for a very long time for most of them but either way still would be interesting to see the numbers. TECHNICALLY speaking, the flueorescent green mechano-strider is the rarest mount in the game. I believe you've made a video on this mount but it is technically in the game even if the player that owned it is banned for trying to sell his account

Just some insight from an owner of the spectral tiger. I bought mine when it didn’t matter if you had epic riding or not it scaled to whatever. And the spectral tiger was a few hundred cheaper than the swift spectral tiger. So that’s the only reason for me 😊
I've always hoped to get the legacy race mounts, but seeing these numbers makes me think they'll never do it - so crazy how small the population is on those. rad video :)

I haven't played wow since 2016. I was not expecting to have 14 of the listed mounts, having the legacy mounts and brewfest ram etc help boost the numbers but the Swift Razzashi Raptor will always be my favourite.
Lovely to know that the OG amani war bear is in the top 100 rarest mount and i lost mine due to customer support merging my account and not notifying me that i would lose all achievements and mounts linked to 1 of the 2 accounts i was merging

Glad you enjoyed! And the method in how I obtained the numbers isn't that different from sites like dataofazeroth as it's just based on account data retrieved from public sources (like leaderboards, wcl, etc.) and the blizzard API. In terms of precision it's tough to say because we're all limited based on our own data sets. I can't say definitively which is more accurate than the other since only Blizzard has the complete data set. The rest of us are just scraping for bits and pieces of it. So that being said I'd go with the source that gives you the biggest flex.

Hey! Regarding the speculations around Spectral Tiger being more rare than Swift: First off, when you activate the code you earn both Swift Spectral Tiger & Spectral Tiger. Back in the days however, the mount was not only an item instead of a spell, but the mount itself had a set speed, and didn't increase regardless of you learning to ride epic mounts. A lot of people threw their Spectral Tiger away (deleting it) since it took up bagspace and was useless in comparisson with the epic 100% version. Regards // Proud owner of Spectral Tiger
wanted to also add that Blizzard has gone on record saying that they intend to raise the drop chance of holiday mounts in the future, since holidays are due to get updates during Dragonflight, i believe that's happening this year, so i'm definitely getting my Heartseeker and Headless Horseman mounts this year, been long trying to get both of those. XD
To keep in mind, Alot of the Card Game mounts, you can buy them from the BMAH when it comes up or from the crates. Still cost MIllions of Gold.. Great job btw, this shows how much Gold Farmers are not a thing in WoW
Yoooo! I got the Brewfest Ram. And the story of it is actually a bit dumb! It was a case that you had to earn an item that gave you a quest that gave you the opportunity to buy the ram. The thing is though, you had to be level 40 to get the quest from the item, but you could earn the item that gave you the quest before level 40. I was fairly new, so gør the item, but didn't get to level 40 before Brewfest ended. But at that time, the items from Brewfest didn't have any time limit on them, so I kept the item for a year, then got the quest, then bought the ram, even though the things to obtain the ram had technically been removed! I haven't played for a while, and did not expect any of my mounts to show up on the list
Originally gladiator was only .05% of the top players. That is .05% of the portion of the player base that actually PvPs. The new 2400 requirement is much easier.
Why the Spectral Tiger and X-51 are rarer than their "swift" and "extreme" counter parts is simple: when you entered the TCG codes back in the day, you got to choose. They were not separate codes, both came from the same card. At the time, mount speed was not dynamic, and no one would buy the slow mount they would never use. I can almost guarantee all slower-version Spectral Tigers and X-51s are a result of the BMAH or people buying multiple TCG codes specifically to collect them. I personally bought my SST and X-51 Extreme during WotLK for gold when the codes were fairly common, and I wasn't super rich in game.
78, 72, 60 (because of twitch drops, sure that number has gone up now xD), 41 (I think more people own it, apparently there was a dupe in WoD and there were more in circulation on the AH). Those are the ones I have from that list xD Nice video!
Back in the day my guild would run older raids for cosmetics (before trangsmogging was even a thing), rare mounts, achievements and the like. I knew people who were farming ZG for the Swift Zulian Tiger for yeaaaaars....I went into ZG three times ever and I wasn't even aware of the Swift Zulian Tiger, I just tagged along to see a raid that was past its prime that I never saw when it was current content. The last time we went in before ZG got removed, the Tiger dropped and I won the roll against my guildies. Needless to say it ruffled a few feathers XD But with over 200 mounts to date, it's still by far my favorite mount and it used about 90% of the time. It also has a bit of sentiment to me, as the guildie who use to organize our "Old School Raids" has since passed away. Live long Waka!

Surprised the S5 (s1 in wotlk) gladiator mount was more uncommon than others, DKs were so broken at the time it almost seemed like a DK mount given to them like warlocks get the Felsteed
Amazing video! Only curiosity is how there are more people with the updated scarab lord mount than the original if the prerequisite to get the updated one is to have the original. Maybe I misunderstood.

As such many of the og owners of the scarab lords most likely quit the game since the mount system overhaul and haven't logged in to claim their updated scarab models
A list without Gladiator mounts would be nice as they took up almost half the spots. I never cared about mounts myself besides always wanting Spectral Tiger and Zulian Tiger, I hit 100 mounts yesterday from looting the mount in Necrotic Wake. I only got the Ghastly Charger from this list, and it for sure isn't on it anymore after Twitch drops. (that's how I got it too anyway)
Lol, out of all 100 of those mounts I had ONE. The Wooly White Rhino. I only just bought it too after saving gold for almost 8 months, finally cracked down on myself and did it after all these years.
I know this is two months old, but great video. If you update it at some point, as some of these numbers are eligible for change, it would be cool if you put which ones were no longer obtainable. Would help mount collectors.

I've got the Sha of Anger mount in like 12 attempts. My boyfriend is still mad about it, cause he was the one dragging me along to get it :)))) the thought of people having 30 to 60 characters just to farm this..makes me feel extremely LUCKY!

Thank you I'm glad you liked it! I felt that way about the mounts too. I didn't want to fall into the trap of excluding mounts based on arbitrary rules that I decided so I just included all of them. But I'll probably go back and do something like the top 25 rarest obtainable mounts or something.
If I remember correctly, a bunch of TCG mounts were pretty heavily duped during the beginning of Warlords. I was able to pick up several TCG mounts for just a couple hundred thousand gold each back then. This may be why the Swift Spectral Tiger is more common than the regular Spectral Tiger. The loot code from the card gives you both copies of the mount, but it makes sense the epic one would be duped more since it's more sought after. The epic nether rocket is likely more common because it's also sold on BMAH, but the blue version is only obtainable with one of the original loot codes, and is usually much more expensive than the epic one if you find it for sale in AH.

I bought the Swift Brewfest Ram in the first Brewfest in 2007 and have rued not buying the 60% one ever since they made riding skill apply to all mounts. For 16 years I had no idea you could just buy it from the vendor if you were originally eligible.
Guess I have to wait another 10 months then.
14:50 For #56 it isn’t the drop rate but you’re more fighting the other people there for your chance to get it. Even though the drop rate is higher than heavenly onyx by 10x (estimated). Not to mention it does have a way longer cooldown of 30 min to an hour. I’ve been farming both since MoP on and off and I haven’t gotten either yet.
This is a very well put together video, great job. I'm surprised this hasn't been (properly) done before, and I'm glad you've been so thorough. I was between top 5 and top 20 world for most mounts until I quit WOD and the legacy mount numbers are a little skewed for sure, especially the Nightsaber, because at least for quite a while you could faction change your character that had the OG mount back and forth to effectively "reroll" - although obviously not cheap, this is what I did to get my Ancient Frostsaber (I had a Frost Ram as I was a dwarf in Vanilla) which I think is the best mount in the game, and I would imagine given that the Nightsaber was very iconic and popular until the new ZG Panther got added in, a fair few got "swapped" this way.

I know you wont believe me but on my WoW account I have all of the Legacy mounts except the kodos and the mecha striders. I also have 2 of the top gladiator mounts from WotLK and Cata.
Its really funny though that when I pull out ANY of my Legacy mounts no one really cares, especially the rams which are crazy rare, but when I pull out the pvp mounts people notice them right away. Weird huh?
Anyways, thanks for this list. Its so cool to see people who really appreciate the time and effort that went into and goes into obtaining these mounts.

Husband has played WoW for like 15yrs. Met me, I got into it, got the Thundering Onyx Serpent from Houlon (~5 tries) and the Heavenly Cloud Serpent from Sha (Logged in for the first time in 2yrs two days ago and got Sha. Maybe 20 tries total) To say hubby was bummed would be an understatement 🤣

Other than the freebie Feldrake I have the Argent Charger, Mottled Drake, Savage Raptor, and Corrupted Hippogryph. The TCG mounts were a lucky purchase at a time when there was a duplication glitch going on, it was probably risky but I bought each of them from the AH for a reasonable price.
You know, with the news update on the MoP/WoD world bosses having their mount drops dramatically increased, I expect the rarity of those mounts - like the Heavenly Oynx Cloud Serpent and Galleon's mount - to drop like flies (much like the Fel Drake will, as well).
Not that I'm complaining. I want those mounts!

My theory as to why Invincible didn't make this list is while it might be a rarer drop than some on this list, you can still try for it once per week per character, and more people are trying for it than some on this list. The X-45 you can only try for 14 days a year. I always, only half-jokingly, said the X-45 was rarer than Invincible... didn't realize I was literally right about that.
This is exactly the case. It has a rare drop chance but has just been farmed to death for like a decade
Invicible was also a weekly drop for high-end raiders. It was definately sold to people at the time as some raiders don't care about mounts

Love the video! I will say if you do see this comment, I would love to see an updated video of this but instead of doing all mounts just do ones that are still obtainable. So maybe remove any mounts that can no longer be obtained in game and any TCG mounts. This would not only be interesting to see what is rare that is still out there, and give people kind of a to do list of maybe some awesome rare mounts that they may not have.

It's over 20 percent of the population now. Much higher than before. Data for Azeroth has numbers that are pretty on par with the numbers in this video.
With a spectral tiger, you actually got both with your key. Most people did not know, so they thought you had to choose one or the other. I had a hobby store, so I bought cases for the loot cards. Release day was Friday, but we got the cards in Monday. They added the original vendor on Tuesday maintenance and when each set came out, they would update the vendor on the Tuesday before the release Friday. No rule said I could not open cards, just was not allowed to sell packs or singles or post pictures online. So in the original set I got my turtle mount the morning servers came up. Same with the Spectral Tiger. People saw me with the Tiger before Friday and reported me repeatedly, well over 100 times. GMs would make contact just to ask the details. One mentioned to me, I could get the non-epic one with the same code, so I did. Other people figured it out, but clearly not very many. I would think most got the lower one first and then came back to grab the epic. That's why its so rare, people just didn't realize you could grab both so they did not, but either choice did not preclude you from getting the other if you wanted it.
I love watching this type of video to validate my existence, as I have SOOOOO many of the ones typically at the top of these lists. SEE MOM, I DIDN'T WASTE MY YOUTH AT ALL!!!
When WoW first came out I grinded so hard and got an arctic wolf legacy mount.
When the new design came out I just knew not to take the free upgrade because the original arctic mount would become a rarity. When I quit wow I was already getting props from people for having one.
20 years later, sometimes I wish I still had my account so I could log in and flex it from time to time.
probably should have just put the pvp mounts in their own video lol..over half the mounts are gladiator mounts and the lowest count ones are just legacy mounts. What about actual mount drops, like ones from raids and not achievements or vendors. There was only what like maybe 5 mounts in here that actually drop from bosses or rares. I'm curious as to how many players own rare mounts that aren't from a vendor or pvp/pve achievement.
This is a fair point and is actually why I expanded the list to 100. I was originally going to do the top 25 but as you said that’s basically just PvP and glad mounts. I expanded it to 50 and felt similarly so I did 100. I’ll probably pump out another with the stuff that’s still obtainable as that seems to be a common request

Just some insight from an owner of the spectral tiger. I bought mine when it didn’t matter if you had epic riding or not it scaled to whatever. And the spectral tiger was a few hundred cheaper than the swift spectral tiger. So that’s the only reason for me 😊

I haven't played wow since 2016. I was not expecting to have 14 of the listed mounts, having the legacy mounts and brewfest ram etc help boost the numbers but the Swift Razzashi Raptor will always be my favourite.

Glad you enjoyed! And the method in how I obtained the numbers isn't that different from sites like dataofazeroth as it's just based on account data retrieved from public sources (like leaderboards, wcl, etc.) and the blizzard API. In terms of precision it's tough to say because we're all limited based on our own data sets. I can't say definitively which is more accurate than the other since only Blizzard has the complete data set. The rest of us are just scraping for bits and pieces of it. So that being said I'd go with the source that gives you the biggest flex.

Hey! Regarding the speculations around Spectral Tiger being more rare than Swift:
First off, when you activate the code you earn both Swift Spectral Tiger & Spectral Tiger. Back in the days however, the mount was not only an item instead of a spell, but the mount itself had a set speed, and didn't increase regardless of you learning to ride epic mounts.
A lot of people threw their Spectral Tiger away (deleting it) since it took up bagspace and was useless in comparisson with the epic 100% version.

wanted to also add that Blizzard has gone on record saying that they intend to raise the drop chance of holiday mounts in the future, since holidays are due to get updates during Dragonflight, i believe that's happening this year, so i'm definitely getting my Heartseeker and Headless Horseman mounts this year, been long trying to get both of those. Yoooo! I got the Brewfest Ram. And the story of it is actually a bit dumb!
It was a case that you had to earn an item that gave you a quest that gave you the opportunity to buy the ram. The thing is though, you had to be level 40 to get the quest from the item, but you could earn the item that gave you the quest before level 40.
I was fairly new, so gør the item, but didn't get to level 40 before Brewfest ended. But at that time, the items from Brewfest didn't have any time limit on them, so I kept the item for a year, then got the quest, then bought the ram, even though the things to obtain the ram had technically been removed!
I haven't played for a while, and did not expect any of my mounts to show up on the list

Originally gladiator was only .05% of the top players. That is .05% of the portion of the player base that actually PvPs. The new 2400 requirement is much easier.

Why the Spectral Tiger and X-51 are rarer than their "swift" and "extreme" counter parts is simple: when you entered the TCG codes back in the day, you got to choose. They were not separate codes, both came from the same card. At the time, mount speed was not dynamic, and no one would buy the slow mount they would never use.
I can almost guarantee all slower-version Spectral Tigers and X-51s are a result of the BMAH or people buying multiple TCG codes specifically to collect them. I personally bought my SST and X-51 Extreme during WotLK for gold when the codes were fairly common, and I wasn't super rich in game.

Back in the day my guild would run older raids for cosmetics (before trangsmogging was even a thing), rare mounts, achievements and the like. I knew people who were farming ZG for the Swift Zulian Tiger for yeaaaaars....I went into ZG three times ever and I wasn't even aware of the Swift Zulian Tiger, I just tagged along to see a raid that was past its prime that I never saw when it was current content. The last time we went in before ZG got removed, the Tiger dropped and I won the roll against my guildies. Needless to say it ruffled a few feathers XD But with over 200 mounts to date, it's still by far my favorite mount and it used about 90% of the time. It also has a bit of sentiment to me, as the guildie who use to organize our "Old School Raids" has since passed away. Live long Waka!

Surprised the S5 (s1 in wotlk) gladiator mount was more uncommon than others, DKs were so broken at the time it almost seemed like a DK mount given to them like warlocks get the Felsteed

Amazing video! Only curiosity is how there are more people with the updated scarab lord mount than the original if the prerequisite to get the updated one is to have the original. Maybe I misunderstood.

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed! As to your question the data is skewed naturally towards accounts that are relatively active within the last few expansions. As such many of the og owners of the scarab lords most likely quit the game since the mount system overhaul and haven't logged in to claim their updated scarab models

A list without Gladiator mounts would be nice as they took up almost half the spots.
I never cared about mounts myself besides always wanting Spectral Tiger and Zulian Tiger, I hit 100 mounts yesterday from looting the mount in Necrotic Wake.
I only got the Ghastly Charger from this list, and it for sure isn't on it anymore after Twitch drops. (that's how I got it too anyway)

Lol, out of all 100 of those mounts I had ONE. The Wooly White Rhino. I only just bought it too after saving gold for almost 8 months, finally cracked down on myself and did it after all these years.
Crusader's White/Black warhorses give you the opposite faction as well. I had never seen the Black version until MoP remix when I found out I got both
I know this is two months old, but great video. If you update it at some point, as some of these numbers are eligible for change, it would be cool if you put which ones were no longer obtainable. Would help mount collectors.
I re-worked the program and did a list for the top 100 obtainable mounts on stream recently so you're spot on with your suggestion. Just editing up the vod so it's more digestible and then I'll upload it

I've got the Sha of Anger mount in like 12 attempts. My boyfriend is still mad about it, cause he was the one dragging me along to get it :)))) the thought of people having 30 to 60 characters just to farm this..makes me feel extremely LUCKY!

@@MrCandyKingGames maybe...maybe not :) i personally didn't play Remix of Pandaria, so i don't have new mounts. I still prefer to kill random mobs and feel lucky whenever i get a drop mount :) but that's just me
@@ubyta06 I’m with you on that, i personally think it’s stupid that they made a very rare mount so easy to get. Some people farmed it for years, only for other people to get it in a few hours😅

I remember when I played for Death and Taxes, back in Vanilla when it was actually Vanilla.. now it seems like all there is to do is collect mounts and old gear sets you really had to work hard for.. Man I remember truly farming Glades, and T3..
