A 77 year old man, playing a 44 year old song, making a 20 year old kid get goose bumps. I was your age when this song was released and felt exactly the same you did!
I grew up with this music as well. I was 36 years old at this iconic performance. I'm glad to have lived through those times when artists could still take their time for breathtaking, lyrical perfection. The kids are totally into it. We were blessed to have outstanding music from the 60's through to the 90's. Wonderful that you appreciate this real music!
The whole PULSE concert is absolutely incredible. This solo from Comfortably Numb is consistently ranked in many polls as the greatest live guitar solo of all time. Nobody does such emotional solos like David Gilmour. You should also react to the song "Sorrow" from the PULSE concerts for another phenomenal and mind blowing guitar solo.
@@79BlackRose He ought to do the whole Division Bell album really. In my opinion (it's been a while though) it is their next best album from the one's remaining.
The light show looks futuristic by today’s standards, yet this concert was 28 years ago in 1994. Another example of how Pink Floyd was ahead of their time. What an amazing group!
Unlike a lot of artists and bands who perform live to highlight their personalities and egos, Pink Floyd's intention was to create an experience. An experience of sound and light and spirit and emotion where the band members are a piece of this magnificent puzzle... not the reason for it. They succeed at that mission to the point that, if you were lucky to attend one or more of these shows, when it ends you feel like you are emerging from a dream. From some other place where sound and light and spirit and emotion merge.
Very true. I have to add that even with less lights, the last Gilmour's solo tour has been able to raise the same emotions. I cried tears on High Hopes. I've attended the gig in Circo Massimo in Rome I think it was in 2016. Of course I've been at all the Pink Floyd tours since 1985 at least once, plus Waters' The Wall. Also that was highly emotional, even missing Sir David on Comfortably Numb. He had Snowy White who is a great guitarist, but Gilmour is on another plan of existence.
It warms this old man's heart seeing young people like yourself enjoying this type of music. Prog rock is my favourite genre of music. It's well worth diving into.
Bad robot, couldn't have said better. Been a fan for over 50 years. This by far is the best Floyd song the best guitar solo of all time. If you can top this let me know, Please!
Some bands fail to capture their magic in the studio, but absolutely kill it live. Some bands create great albums, but live they just don't have it. Pink Floyd's albums are miles ahead of most band's, and are true works of art. And then somehow their live show is still miles ahead of their albums. And all of those miles are straight up to the heavens. Unbelievable execution by this Gilmour-led group.
Now go lay back with your headphones and just really feel the emotion in this beautiful song. NEVER EVER stop during a solo!! Especially this one!!! You're my top 3 favorites to watch react and it's awesome to see young people "get" the feelings we did when we were rushing to buy the albums as soon as the album hit the stores.
Probably the best live band of all time. David Gilmour is the master of the guitar and this is possibly the best solo ever. Choose any song from Pulse and you won't go wrong. It is the music you get when people of genuine talent get together. The 11th commandment- Thou shalt not pause a David Gilmour solo!!!
I wish I had been there, I discovered pink Floyd in the early 90's but didn't get the opportunity to see them live, those that did have a real life affirming experience that will stay with them till their last breath.
My first concert, my favorite song by Pink Floyd. I was there in 94 and you have no idea what it was like. 80,000 people in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, all singing the lyrics, the lighting was incredible, the guitar solos were mesmerizing, and Pink Floyd...just WOW!
I heard my first Pink Floyd song on Christmas Eve 1968. I was 11 years old and the song was, " A Saucerful of Secrets," followed by. "Jugband Blues." Sal was the guy that turned our "Vadio" on to Floyd. Sal ran into Roger Waters coming down the stairs at the Whisky a go-go, in Hollywood in 1968. In their conversation, Sal asked. "What happened to Syd Barrett? Did he quiet?" Roger Waters, replied. "Sid went silly!"... True story.
Not every band can pull it off live. And not very many live recordings are as clean as the studio versions, which are usually perfectly polished. But when you can find a live version of a song that is well recorded, and played by a band capable of reproducing their songs live, you can't beat it. I love the energy of live performances. I love seeing the band doing their thing. And then you have Floyd, who has got all of that, and then also brings heaven down to earth with their stage show. This is the ultimate live show right here. None can top it.
Well, the best version of Echoes I've heard (for my taste) is the one from David's "Live in Gdansk" DVD, which happens to be also the last performance of that song, as Rick Wright died shortly thereafter. It mesmerizes me to the point that when it finishes I wonder where all those minutes went... And it touches me so much, I find tears in my eyes almost every time. 🙂
Pink Floyd, and especially Gilmour, were famous for the incredibly long riffing solos. Gilmour himself has said that it's great fun but can't imagine what its like to watch it. As others have said, the Pulse concert is Floyd at their performance peak. Gilmour's voice just keeps getting better. His voice on his solo albums "On an Island" and "Rattle that Lock" is like silk wrapped caramel. I'd highly recommend watching the Live from Gdańsk concert (and the documentary that goes with it)
I totally agree with you on the performance aspect, however imo, even though their later concerts are still Awesome, I prefer the stage shows from the 80's with the blimps, screens, explosions ect...
On Gdansk High Hopes has a classical guitar and symphonic orchestra coda that ends on the "ping" of Echoes. The first time I've seen it at home, I stood up and applauded as I were there.
David Gilmour with his voice and guitar turns this into a major musical spiritual experience every single time I listen to it. Great to see a young persons reaction. Timeless.
Best explanation I've heard for the "chills" is that your soul has found it's musical match. The music's vibrational frequency has found a MATCH with your own frequency and when the two meet, you get chills because what's internal and innate to you is now literally vibrating IN HARMONY with something that is external and that's powerful stuff.
Yea. Saw them on this tour at the ‘Shoe (Ohio State’s football stadium) It was one of those shows that genuinely change your life. (Saw them in 88 as well but the 94 tour was the one)
google this solo-performance: the long solo of this performance of the song (pulse) is widely considered the greatest rockguitar solo of all time. my personal opinion doesn´t matter but i´m 60 years old and having listened to rockmusic for about 50 years, for me personally it is.
next one from Pink Floyd - On the Turning away ( live to the Delicate sound of Thunder concert 1989 ) 😎👍 or Sorrow ( live to Pulse 1994 ) or Coming back to life ( live Pulse 1994 )
Cool reaction mate , I knew that solo would be too much for you to handle lol . Most first time viewers can't believe what they are watching. This entire concert is top drawer . It has Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety right in the middle too. Pink Floyd reunited for Live8 concert in 2005 , including Roger Waters who isn't in the band for the Pulse concert having left around 83/84.
I was one of those lucky people with 20,000 others who attended this concert at Earls Court in London.(Unfortunately this venue is no longer there) As you see it was a fabulous concert and one of the best I have seen, (I am 72 now) At the end people on exiting were just quiet and couldn't really believe what they had just witnessed! You must get the Pulse video then you can watch the whole concert and enjoy it as we all did who saw it live. So good to see a young person from a completely different generation enjoying this wonderful spectacle. This music will last for ever!
This is what it was like in the 60"s 70"s at live concerts. Light shows at most big concerts but rarely topped the Floyd light show's. I lived thru the best musical era of the century.
Me to in the 60s and 70s bands went on stage they could sing and play their own instruments now it’s barely dressed women and electronic music they have no talent hence the reason i blast the old classics when I’m in the car
So nice to see young people enjoying this music. This is real music. I'm 67 yrs old and I still get goose bumps. I'm also happy to say my grandkids love this stuff too...
I got to see Pink Floyd when I was 16 in 1987! Hands down, to this day, my favorite concert!! I was 8 rows back on the floor. It was so bright you could barely see the band. Didn't need to...
Well, now you have to do the whole Pulse concert, it's one of the greatest concerts ever recorded. Pick the 'restored & re-edited' version on the official channel, it has better audio and video quality and better camera angles than the older uploads.
You know, I like both cuts for different reasons. I kind of like some of the angles and saturation on the old version but the restored one looks amazing as well.
Could not agree more! When you see the remastered version, I always wonder why they didn't use some of the video in the original. Much better in every way.
Saw the show at Soldier Field in Chicago that summer. The video is great, but imagine it at about a million decibels and 360° surround sound all around the stadium. As if the stage lighting and blinding ball of light at the center of the stadium wasn't enough, throw in some mother nature lighting in the form of lightning⚡ in the skies above, and you pretty much have an out-of-body experience. This was one for the ages.
What a song.....What a perfomance!!! I don't know how many reactions I have watched with this song but nobody have ever shown the reaction you did. It's obvious you understand music and the vibe it can give you. Just wanted to say thank you for letting us listen to this amazing song and performance together with you. Much love from Sweden.
FYI brother, there is a newer "Restored and Re-edited" version of Pulse on youtube, with higher quality audio and video. Same show, just a cleaner version of it.
There's something about PF art. They know how to take the listener to a very special place. Glad you had the opportunity to experience this epic performance.
I was there that night they filmed it. Loved Pink Floyd from an early age, and I can't describe how special and incredible it was to be there. The video doesn't do justice of the sound, vision and atmosphere. Watching your reaction was a reminder of how I was (and still am) moved by their talent. Especially for someone your age (I'm 56 😮😅) Bravo 👏 😎
Best concert I ever attended, and I've seen quite a few. Saw 'em at Oakland in '94. TIP: pausing does not affect copyright strikes. Please let it play through. The best reactors do. "Never interrupt the CHILLS."
This concert was held at Earls Court over two weeks. Each performance was sold out although they had to cancel one performance as the scaffolding holding seats at the back collasped. I went on the middle Saturday and had a seat roughly in the middle of the stage about 10 rows back. The whole concert was mind blowing. The sound, the lights and lasers together with rats, planes and a disco ball lol! You needed to see this concert twice to take everything in. I still remember everything about that night ...... I am now 70 lol! These things are great to remember as I sit in my bath chair ....... Pink Floyd the best band ever.
Beautiful reaction! What remains in the center of the sphere, when it opens, is the crazy pink diamond representing the heart of Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd, who flew away too soon. I am 64 years old and it opens my heart to see a teenager get emotional like I did when, at the age of 13, in 1973, I listened to Pink Floyd for the first time. All the emotions you felt at your first listen are more or less the same that many of my peers felt at the first meeting with this magical band. Go into the rabbit hole, I don't know when or if you'll make it out, but I guarantee you won't regret it. Enjoy it! Greetings from Sardinia (Italy)
Having reacted to this you may consider other performances from this Pulse concert. Run Like Hell , Sorrow , High Hopes , One of These Days , Keep Talking , Learning to Fly to name a few highlights plus many , many more ungorgettable masterpieces. No autotune , no half naked dancers , no pre recorded backing tracks , just plain ,simple , pure TALENT by guys who at this stage were in their 50's .
Great reaction. You’ve earned this. Having listened to Floyd’s albums first, then go to the Live Performance is the pay-off you were due. From PULSE, also recommend One of These Days, High Hopes, Great Gig, Shine On…..practically anything from it 👍
I have heard an interview w/ Clare Torry where she (smugly) points out that when The Floyd play Great Gig live they split the solo between 3 singers (FYI for those who don’t know - she ad-libbed the original in only 2 takes).
This concert is the whole reason I got in to Floyd. They actually put it (not live I don't think) on the BBC after a documentary about the band. Bought Div Bell, bought Pulse, and discovered my parents had Dark Side, WYWH, and The Wall on vinyl. Life changing. One of the two concerts I wish I was old enough to have gone to - this and Queen at Wembley 86.
Back then, we went to concerts, there were no cell phones. It was about the music and each other. Not that cell phones aren't great, but I miss those days of not having them at concerts. A whole different vibe. Fantastic reaction to this awesome performance by Pink Floyd. Thanks!
A good friend of mine worked for the company that did all the special lighting fx so I got to see this tour from behind the lighting desk. Mind. Blown.
I was at the Pulse concert in Vancouver. After the wild cheers and the lights came on hardly anyone said anything. Normally after concerts there’s a loud murmur of people talking about the concert, but this one, it took me about an hour to finally be able to say something meaningful. At Pink Floyd concerts, it isn’t just about listening to the music, it was an experience. You not only hear the music, see the fantastic light show, but you also felt the music in your body, in your soul. Pink Floyd took concerts and raised them to yet another level, to an experience.
They're all incredible in this concert and you should check them out. Whatever you do, don't miss "Sorrow" (it gives this solo a real run for its money!), "High Hopes", "Keep Talking" - this band is incredible! Imagine, by the time of this concert, they'd been around for almost thirty years, and still manage to sound this great!
Silas - your reaction to the '94 pulse concert performance of Comfortably Numb is almost as epic as the show itself. The first time I listened to the second solo, the sensation throughout my entire body was similar to what you descibed - chills all over, slight tremors, but in my case I recall shedding a single tear. My description of that experience can be summed up in a word, 'orgasmic'! Keep up the good work, dude. You have great camera presence - that killer smile will eventually break a heart or two.
I was at the show in Vancouver, British Columbia in '94, and it was absolutely AMAZING!! Glad you got to see the live version, any live Floyd is great and if you just watch some David Gilmour live shows as well, an incredible talent. Keep up the good work Silas, your doing a great job!
I saw them on this tour in May 1994 on the weekend of my 27th birthday here in New Orleans at the Superdome (I still have my ticket stub). To say that this concert was an out of body, out of mind experience would be a complete understatement, They gave you you everything from THE top musical experience and musicianship to the best light show and sound system I've ever seen and heard before and since. And to have grown people in the audience with chills, goosebumps and tears flowing after this song chanting "Pink Floyd!! Pink Floyd!!" until the last song of the concert began which was "Run Like Hell" where they pretty much set off all of the pyrotechnics across the whole stage set was something I'll never ever forget. That whole concert experience was way beyond mind blowing and totally unforgettable.
@@jakehunt3392 Damn skippy!! And I was all the way in center of the first level right off the floor, and I could feel that heat. That was pretty crazy the way they set that off.
@@kevinstarr516 I was at Yankee Stadium & Giants Stadium…. 2 shows a few days apart both almost exactly the same with a couple song swaps(they played “hey you” at Yankee & not at Giants so there were some AMAZING differences…Yankee stadium sounded like they were playing music right off the studio records(yea it was that good) & giants stadium they had a more “live” sound like you hear on pulse & The 1 was better than the other 😂 the sound quality was just outstanding in both shows! DSOTM was played in full at both shows & was the greatest experience I’d ever had. There was zero dead air & the entire show streamed together as each song flowed together just like one of their albums. The feat that Pink Floyd pulled off with this tour is staggering! It’s the greatest tour there ever will be. The Triple encore at both shows Wish you were here, Comfortbly Numb & than closing it out with Run Like Hell left us all in shock 👍 & I’m sure a few people in the front row lost their eye brows 😂
Get ready for the lasers and other lights. Pink is well known for those in their shows. As always, David's guitar work is unreal. No flash just his smooth style. The members of this band are true masters of their craft. Relaxed and smooth performance. Goosebumps and chills are normal. And a sense of peace and calm. One of the BEST rock bands EVER. Period - full stop. Their work speaks for itself.... I love your reaction Silas. So honest and real. I think at one time Pink had an F-1 racing team. ???? It brings joy to my heart to see young people discovering the music of my youth. ENJOY!!!!
Not sure I’ve ever seen them live before. Tip the hat. So many bands, removed from studio protection, sound poor. Not these fellows. I’ve never loved PF, but the respect/appreciation meter just shot up! Two thumbs up!! 👍 👍
I know people who have never really appreciated Pink Floyd. I think just because of hearing "Money" on the radio so many times. But I've never known anyone who has taken the time to really listen and watch, dive in, who hasn't been converted.
@@bighousegroove yep! Your point is accurate for many aspects of life. New music….food…cultures…all are improved when exposure is increased and ignorance is lowered. You are also correct about the radio--they overplay certain songs and that is the only exposure to that band that many folks get. That is certainly my experience with PK--before Silas.
No costumes or dancing girls needed. They shock you with their overwhelming talent and performance perfectly!! Great reaction video as I loved to see you experience as we watched them.
I saw them at Ohio State in 1994, this was the second time I saw them there. And saw them in Cleveland Ohio before that. Best live concert you’re ever going to see!!!
glad some of you kids are listening to the good ol classic rock....first time watching your channel man...keep on having an open mind....PEACE OUT BROTHER!!!
Would you believe that this wasn't even the finale of this show? Run Like Hell followed. But literally the entire show from start to finish is amazing. I didn't attend this particular show but saw them a few months earlier in Los Angeles. It was at the Rose Bowl with probably 90,000 people. We had tickets on the field in front of the stage. There was a large covered thing in the middle of the field, literally right next to us. We figured it was electrical equipment for the show. But during that second solo, the disco ball rose up out of it (instead of down from the ceiling like in this performance). Imagine the spectacle of this video (in an indoor venue with around 20,000 people) in an outdoor stadium with 5 times that many people, and the disco ball lights shining on every single one of them. When it opened up into the lotus flower or whatever it's supposed to be, I literally started crying. The most incredible moment of my life. For comparison, you should check out David Gilmour's performance of this in Pompeii in 2016. He's way older but I actually think that solo is somehow better. Anyway I think they performed this in the same venue (Earl's Court London) for 14 consecutive nights! All sold out. Sadly it was demolished a few years ago.
Back in O.C. Calif when I was 30 my wife heard a commercial on the radio about a P.F. show coming up. Knowing I am a Floyd fan she called the radio station (KMET - LA, “The Mighty Met”) to get information on the concert, The DJ on live radio Cynthia Fox…. said...."Congratulations, YOU are caller number 10, YOU just won tickets to the show and the Sound Check Party before the show"... I met David Gilmour back stage. He gave us both a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I told him his music will stand the test of time with anything from Beethoven or Mozart. He smiled even bigger. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know. . I told him in my eyes he’s a “Legend“. He thanked me and said “Enjoy the show”…. during the concert after the song “Money” he looked right at me and said…. “On saxophone, another Legend, Mr. Raphael Ravenscroft” … acknowledging my comment to him. It is my favorite moment in over 300 shows I’ve seen. I asked David…. How do you create those awesome solos?… he said….. I sit on a stool and listen to what Roger, Nick and Rick put down and play along. I listen to what I played and pick out what I like, then I put the pieces together into one piece then learn to play it as one. Our fans are fanatics for our shows to sound like the albums so I must play it correctly each time in a show. I have the concert Brochure and album on the wall with David’s picture centerfold. All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible. The Red Fender Stratocaster he used for this concert in the Guitar Collector World is ....PRICELESS
You can’t go wrong by checking out anything from the Pulse concert. It’s amazing from start to finish. My personal faves are Sorrow, High Hopes and the whole of Dark Side of the Moon live in the second half. Whether or not you react to any more of it, do yourself a favour and enjoy the whole concert in its entirety.

40+ years a huge fan of Pink Floyd. Saw them once at London pulse 94. Stayed at the Radisson Edwardian 5 star hotel at Heathrow. Stretch limo to the gig, cars moving out the way through London for us. Earls court gates open for us, our chauffeur opens the limo door & we are ushered in by security all holding hands to form a chain for us. Was first in the arena. I've seen Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Rush & many other great groups live but Pink Floyd pulse was the greatest for me & that gig, a real night to remember!! 🇬🇧
I have seen Pink Floyd Live 4 times… I saw this same show in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap froged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all.
I saw PF in 1994, RFK Stadium, Washington DC. A friend of mine had a sister who worked for Jack Kent Cooke. She got us the tickets to sit in Jack Kent Cook’s skybox to watch the concert along with his grandson. The laser light show, the riffs, the songs, everything was simply mind blowing. Attended many concerts over the years. This was in the top five for me.
In my view, this performance has never been bettered, superb. They did 4 nights at this venue, all sold out. BTW the blonde backing singer is Sam Brown, daughter of Legend Joe Brown…..she had a few hits herself in the late 80’s.
I was at the show in Toronto in '94 from this Division Bell tour. Pulse essentially documents the tour, and the concert footage is a carefully edited collection of the best moments. Pink Floyd are something else live. Truly one of the best concert experiences I've ever had. Although there was no Roger Waters in the 94 tour, I saw him recently for his This Is Not A Drill tour. And he's also spectacular to see live.

True story.
Maybe even better than this might be the Pulse version of Sorrow. Crushing guitar from Gilmour. One of my faves for sure.
I prefer "Sorrow". And it has more relatable lyrics as well. Same as "On The Turning Away".
The Delicate Sound of Thunder version is epic!!
Also, I would suggest " The Great Gig in the Sky" but from the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert!
Now THAT is how you're supposed to react to Pink Floyd, live!!
You really need to see Echoes performed live at Pompeii. Excellent PF reactions... I am enjoying your journey.
@@star06able certainly The Wall concert was unique!
On Gdansk High Hopes has a classical guitar and symphonic orchestra coda that ends on the "ping" of Echoes. The first time I've seen it at home, I stood up and applauded as I were there.
@@lucapolidori8817 the joy of the Gdańsk concert was having the orchestra there. Castellorizon with the live orchestra is stunning.
I really like the Sao Paulo live video
I was there in Boston 1994 for the Pulse concert and the 1987 concert in Boston as well. Nothing like it ever!!
You can't go wrong with anything from this concert. Shine on Crazy Diamond, Sorrow, High Hopes, the list goes on and on.
This is my favourite, and I saw this live at Earls Court. But my second favourite is One Of These Days.
I was one of the 20000+ crowd, and I think it's fair to say, there are no words to describe that night. I still get goose bumps every time I watch it.
It's great to see young people get into this band. There was no one like them before or after. Enjoy. You have loads to catch up on. ❤️
google this solo-performance: the long solo of this performance of the song (pulse) is widely considered the greatest rockguitar solo of all time. my personal opinion doesn´t matter but i´m 60 years old and having listened to rockmusic for about 50 years, for me personally it is.
I saw this tour in Philadelphia; floor seats.
When that giant disco ball lit up, the whole stadium felt like it was spinning.
It was crazy
next one from Pink Floyd - On the Turning away ( live to the Delicate sound of Thunder concert 1989 ) 😎👍 or Sorrow ( live to Pulse 1994 ) or Coming back to life ( live Pulse 1994 )
Bro so cool you air guitar to the same songs I have for forty years. Keep it up little brother.
The entire concert is a masterpiece. I encourage you to watch the song High Hopes from this concert.
Greetings from Finland, this concert is something else :)
This is really all you need right here. Every song is glorious.
Try and beat "SORROW" for guitar superiority!!! From this concert, the intro and outro ExCEL!
You know, I like both cuts for different reasons. I kind of like some of the angles and saturation on the old version but the restored one looks amazing as well.
Could not agree more! When you see the remastered version, I always wonder why they didn't use some of the video in the original. Much better in every way.
'Run Like Hell' follows this song and closes the show. A must watch in my humble opinion.👍👍
Was at this concert and it was amazing. Something I’ll never forget. Great reaction. Still gives me goosebumps to this day.
Watching this guy enjoy this in such an emotional way is awesome!!! love your reactions, keep it up!!
Well done, son! You got IT!
FYI brother, there is a newer "Restored and Re-edited" version of Pulse on youtube, with higher quality audio and video. Same show, just a cleaner version of it.
I believe there is a bit longer dark solo as well
Young man, your reaction is priceless. They are the greatest band ever
There's something about PF art. They know how to take the listener to a very special place. Glad you had the opportunity to experience this epic performance.
This was the most memorable concert of my life. I saw this tour at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA and it was simply incredible.
Live at Pompeii when they were young is the most epic filmed concert ever
It's so great to see another generation being blown away by these songs! Thanks for this!
Just to let you know, they perform the entire Dark Side Of The Moon album live at this show. Absolutely mind blowing.
Great reaction. I was lucky enough to be at this exact concert 20th October 1994. No concert has come close to this.
Just do the whole concert reaction! :d
I was lucky enough to go to this concert in 94.
I was born in 80 so I was 15 at the time.
I got into pink floyd smoking hashish at my brother's friend's house ( it was the final cut he was playing) I fell in love with floyd from that moment
You really should see the whole Pulse live concert.
And David Gilmour’s Remember that night live concert.
And his and PF Live at Pompeii concerts.
I'm a 75 yr old and have been a Floyd fan since then beginning and it does my heart good to see a young person that gets it...
I introduced my 13 year old daughter to Floyd 6 years ago . After that she had Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall on repeat.
Proudest day of my life.
Yes, I attended this concert in 1994 at Rose Bowl, Pasadena CA. It was an experience of lifetime
To see a young person reacting with awe and respect to Pink Floyd...there is no words.
Back then, we went to concerts, there were no cell phones. It was about the music and each other. Not that cell phones aren't great, but I miss those days of not having them at concerts. A whole different vibe.
Fantastic reaction to this awesome performance by Pink Floyd. Thanks!
Goosebumps? This solo brought tears to my eyes - still does, every time I see someone react to it. Great reaction - as always...
Great reaction Silas but remember, NEVER pause in the middle of a David Gilmour guitar solo.
Fabulous reaction to that epic performance, always makes me cry its so powerful and played so brilliantly by the now ageing band members.
All I can say is you are awesome in your true reaction to this. These guys play real music!!
I wasn't at this very concert, but saw the same show here in the States. I've seen them 3 times, this was by far the best tour.
Saw it in Toronto. As life-changing as being abducted by aliens I think.
I remember feeling the heat from the fires exploding on stage 🙏
The Triple encore at both shows Wish you were here, Comfortbly Numb & than closing it out with Run Like Hell left us all in shock 👍
& I’m sure a few people in the front row lost their eye brows 😂
Get ready for the lasers and other lights. Pink is well known for those in their shows. As always, David's guitar work is unreal. No flash just his smooth style. The members of this band are true masters of their craft. Relaxed and smooth performance. Goosebumps and chills are normal. And a sense of peace and calm. One of the BEST rock bands EVER. Period - full stop. Their work speaks for itself.... I love your reaction Silas. So honest and real. I think at one time Pink had an F-1 racing team. ???? It brings joy to my heart to see young people discovering the music of my youth. ENJOY!!!!
People lost their minds when the disco ball opened. Best show I ever saw! They did Run Like Hell for the closer.
You want more chills, do "The Great Gig In The Sky" from this Pulse tour. Those 3 female backups will blow your mind.
Look at this young little girl form the cover band "Pink Floyd Legend". I've seen them live a dozen of times ua-cam.com/video/s6LqihuN814/v-deo.html
David Gilmour "In any tongue" live in pompei
No costumes or dancing girls needed. They shock you with their overwhelming talent and performance perfectly!! Great reaction video as I loved to see you experience as we watched them.
When I saw this, I thought to myself, this guy’s gonna lose his shit when he hears that solo.
Your reaction is priceless . You feel it down your bones! I am glad you had the chance to hear, feel and see this fantastic track.
4 times Silas in 94 Holland and London 3 times including last ever David Gilmour led Pink Floyd concert 29th oct 94 amazing pal 👌
This footage was filmed 20th oct 94 Earl’s Court London pink Floyd played 12 sold out concerts there in 94.
I was at the Sunday night concert in Rotterdam 94 , about 5 full coaches left Glasgow on the Friday and stayed in Amsterdam up to the concert. Amazing weekend
@@pauldocmusic2411 I think I was at the sunday one think they did fri sat and sun Feyenoord stadium I remember it being a bit wet if I’m not mistaken I stayed in Rotterdam from Liverpool and coach did an excursion to Amsterdam from Rotterdam but I remember I couldn’t go as I shared a Jamaican woodbine with these lads I met in hotel and they must have been spiked with lsd as I was tripping my box off and I felt very ILL and paranoid 🤣🤣🤣
Silas, it’s sheer enjoyment watching your reactions. You definitely FEEL the magic and you’re honest about it. Your sense of wonder is infectious.
In my view, this performance has never been bettered, superb.
They did 4 nights at this venue, all sold out.
BTW the blonde backing singer is Sam Brown, daughter of Legend Joe Brown…..she had a few hits herself in the late 80’s.
Pink Floyd is in my blood since 1968. I saw them 5 times. First concert in Montreal (1971).
I really love a new generation discovering and loving Pink Floyd, It lets me know it wasn't just a fevered dream of my past.
I saw this concert in Montreal in 1994, it was just amazing! Every time I see a video from that concert I get goosebumps!
