My man! Absolutely loved watching you experience this. You can tell when people really listen to music and feel the music. Amazing Performances by Pink Floyd. Pull up some of the lyrics before you watch the videos that way you can really experience the full meaning of their music it's amazing. We can see in your expression as you listen to the music that you're feeling the same emotion we go through every time we listen to these songs. Keep up the good work!
What a great reaction young man , wonderful, I'm a 62 year old English guy and to see you young people reacting to this makes my heart smile , bless you
I thought I left a comment but maybe not. So I once played this song to a girlfriend that I had. And after listening to it she turned to me and said, "You actually like that song?" That is when I slowly pulled over the car and came to a stop. I grabbed the door handle and opened my door. I gently walked over to her side of the car and kindly opened her door. I then nicely said, "Peace Out Girl!"
Now you know why people still talk about Pink Floyd as one of the most SPECTACULAR bands of all time. Not only for the scenic aspect of their shows, but also for their music and lyrics. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Pink Floyd's world.
Less than 1 min into solo, “he’s still going on this solo?” 😳. 😂😂😂 settle in…….you’ve got at least 5 more minutes of the most amazing guitar solo you will ever hear in your lifetime.
@@usuallyclueless4477 Do you think he's ready enough that we dare introduce him to Yngwie Malmsteen and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra "Far beyond the Sun", or is it too early for that yet?
If you go to 7:41 and 7:57, you'll notice how they didn't sell the top of the arena. Pink Floyd would put lasers, lights, and speakers to surround the audience with more than simply a musical experience. It was a sensual feast, eyes and ears treated to something they'll never forget. I loved your reaction, and suspect you find yourself walking around in a few years listening to and making personal sense of the concept albums they masterfully produced.
Absolutely, a Pink Floyd concert is an emotional rollercoaster, I've never been to a Pink Floyd concert, but their ability to create emotion in anyone listening, from folks like myself to these young folks reacting to their 1st exposure to this band shows their amazing talent.
I was at the Pulse concert in 1994 when they came through Patriot Stadium in Mass. Bar none, the best concert I have ever seen. Not only do you get mesmerized by their music but their light show, lasers and video captivate you. Did I mention quadraphonic stereo sound in the stadium? Totally mind blowing and ethereal. Fun fact: Pink Floyd had (3) identical stage, light and sound sets that leaped between venues. Each stage set cost $5 million dollars.
Pink Floyd doesn't care who you are, and they just don't play fair. They put the hooks in you, and make you start questioning everything. There's music, and then there's Pink Floyd. So glad you found them.
I love when others discover Pink Floyd for the 1st time & David Gilmour is a guitar virtuoso, great reaction & please continue to play their music you won’t be disappointed
You've been Floyded! I gotta admit, you bring me joy watching you experience the magic that is Pink Floyd. This was my very first album I ever bought. I was 8 years old, and bought it in 1975. I was hooked from the first song. Glad you've found them!
I had the pleasure of being there in 94 London UK 02 arena. Never have I been so emotional in my life even more than my wedding day. Pink Floyd are a British sensation David gilmore best solo ever 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Popenyco, another fantastic Pink Floyd/David Gilmour guitar solo is from their 1989 concert called “On the Turning Away”. That video (great visuals…hey it is Pink Floyd) will blow your mind! I love your reaction to “Comfortably Numb”! Gilmour is the Bomb!
Glad you reacted to this classic performance!! I saw Pink Floyd on this Pulse tour at the Alamodome in San Antonio with 47,000 fans. I had 18th row seats on the floor, and it was an experience of a lifetime. Had also seen them in 1987 in Austin. Excellent reaction and appreciation for this!!!!

And a few views on laserdisc before that. The laserdisc of this concert was always my home theater show-off material in the mid-to-late 90s. Probably one reason I kept a laserdisc player around until 2006 when the PULSE DVD finally appeared. I saw this tour when they came to the New Orleans Superdome in '94, so it was an immediate buy when the video was released.

I'm going to be 50 years old in two weeks, but I grew up in Brooklyn New York as a teenager in the early 80s. We had the planetarium all the way up on the West Side in New York City and it was a light show and they featured Pink Floyd, which was the ain't reason why we go watch the light show at the planetarium. Pink Floyd motivated the whole thing but they were not the only band that we saw. However, they were the main light show you want to see. We want to Harlem near the "Apollo," to cop tabs of acid and we dropped acid and went to the Planetarium. Let me tell you, it was amazing. That shit was wild. I never saw Pink Floyd in the planetarium, I did see Genesis and I was tripping balls. How the hell we got home was a miracle. We got into a fender bender on the highway, and the other guy had damages and he was like, "No problem, I don't care, I gotta go! Bye!." Pink Floyd is in a class by its own
Glad you started with the live version and didn't stop it mid solo like some reactors do. If you liked this then i would suggest "Sorrow", "Time" and "Shine on you crazy diamond" all from the same show.
My suggestion would be Pink Floyd's ... "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I - V ) & there is a (Parts VI - IX). Also "Dogs" these are long tracks but you'll see.
I am so happy that you were so inspired by this music. This is the music that I listened to when I was just a young man back in the 1970s. I've always been a big fan of Floyd and will be until the day I die.
It’s so fun to see someone younger feel and appreciate the music I grew up on!! This solo was actually a minute and a half longer at the show but they cut it back for the video. 🙏🏼🤟🏼💜✌🏼

Wonderful. I want to echo some previous comments, in that it is so obvious that your new to Pink Floyd, and your reaction is priceless. I loved it, and thank you for doing it. It threw me back like 20 years or so, when I first hear this song, I had the same reaction as you. Which leads me to a point: Pink Floyd seem to have the same effect on people regardless of their era. This is a true masterpiece. Thank you again.
I paid 45 bucks to see their show in Ames, IA and that warm summer night of Pink Floyd literally changed me. It wasn't just an a-fucking-MAZING concert but Floyd + shrooms was an experience and a trip deep inside my soul. Also I've NEVER heard music THAT loud be CRYSTAL clear and perfect at the same time, rolling out over me like a warm blanket and as for that guitar solo. It's not just the most amazing solo you've ever heard, it's considered the best guitar solo of all time. The Beatles made the guitar gently weep, Gilmour made it cry out in the agony of the worst heartbreak you'll ever have interlaced with everything beautiful that came before. There's a universe out there with only two solar systems in it. The first is called Pink Floyd and the other is Tool. Both are on a completely different level than any other band in their respective genres, composing not just songs but masterpiece composition after masterpiece composition. ❤
Now that was fun! One of my favorite things to do is turning people on to stuff they're not familiar with. A lot of people on here are picking out assorted tunes to watch. Trust me when I say this. First thing. Just watch this entire PULSE concert. There is so much amazing stuff on it that by the time it ends. You probably won't be able to talk and you will just be shaking your head..... Nuff said?. Fasten your seatbelt, Have fun!!! ;8)
I was kinda young, and I was at this concert! And this solo was literally HISTORICAL! The COLOSSAL, EXTREMELY MASSIVE, REALLY IMPOSING, AND EPIC PINK FLOYD MACHINE! ... Phenomenal! Everyone was speechless at the end of this solo. We were all high on emotion and completely blown away, really. This concert was really impressive and imposing; the stage was just ... HUGE!!! At the end of the concert, we all were looking at the stage, trying to keep and bring all those fantastic and incredible "Pink Floyd feelings" with us, at home and in our dreams during the night. It was literally a unique and fantastic journey. It's "printed" in my brain for the rest of my life.
@@POPE. Yes, my dad had reserved our tickets for this concert weeks before, and I knew that it was a "privilege" so to speak to be present at this concert: Pink Floyd, my favorite band ever since I was 10. I remember that I said to my father _"Dad, do you realize that we are here?!"_ many times, I was so excited. It was like a dream to me! I was looking around me all the time in order to remember everything, details of this epic and colossal stage, even the smell of some joints (yes, some people smoked some joints (hashish) believe it or not, mostly in front of the stage because ... it's Pink Floyd! lol). I was so amazed that I was there, with Pink Floyd, I couldn't believe it! I'm not gonna lie, I was on a rollercoaster all the time, and sometimes, my emotions were so strong, that I cried a few times. I was not crying like a baby, but yes, I cried because their songs reminds me of my childhood so much, and had goosebumbs all over my body. My brain was literally in the Pink Floyd universe, and I was extremely satisfied and happy. I never felt this kind of emotion in my life again during a concert. Only with Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd and some Rush will get ya a few more people watching . We have seen the bands and heard them hundreds of times were here to see how you react to them. So enjoy the ride and anyone tells ya not to pause pause away were here to see you and hear your reaction.. I clicked subscribe just to see I loved how you enjoyed this song. Live they were the greatest show ever. When you do the song Time and see how fast ten years gets behind ya makes the song even more relevant as you get older.. enjoy the ride
I went to this concert in London, this was the encore, after the concert finished the audience just stood there for a bout 10 minutes, mesmerised, blown away, although I suspect most of them were stoned..I know I was!
There’s a story that the lighting crew asked what their budget was & Pink Floyd said, “Yes!” 😂 Glad you’re enjoying this great band (best ever IMO) & don’t let the haters get you down. 👊🏼
You called it early into the song saying how great the song is, and then it keeps getting better. Every song from this concert is awesome. I have seen Pink Floyd 5 times but the Pulse tour was the Best. You feel every chord, every lyric, you feel the lasers.. it is basically indescribable. You had to have seen it to believe it. When it was over everyone was just in a daze, not many people were talking. They were just looking at each other while walking out as if to say...What the F just happened. The music, lasers, props, It was like being in a trance. It was good that I was not driving that night because I could remember Nothing from the car ride home.(no drugs or alcohol) I did not sleep that night. I just laid there still seeing and hearing the show. What an experience it was. Unbelievable performance.
Check out "Sorrow" from the same 1994 Pulse tour, incredible! Actually any song from the Pulse Tour is exceptional, "High Hopes",... "One of these Days",... "Money",... "Run Like Hell", and more. Pink Floyd is a legendary Rock band formed in London in 1965, they have sold over 400 million albums world wide, the most albums sold in Rock & Roll history,... second only to The Beatles, (600 million). I've been a huge Pink Floyd since 1973, I've seen them twice, once in the 70s and the other time was in 1980. Their music speaks to a persons soul, they're attention to detail and production in their music is off the charts! They are serious, master musicians and David Gilmour, the singer and guitarist, plays with so much passion and emotion and musicality, like no other guitarist imo. Once you start going down the Pink Floyd Rabbit hole, you're in for a glorious, Progressive Rock rollercoaster ride! There is a lot of phenomenal Pink Floyd music out there to enjoy!
Your reactions to Pink Floyd are my FAVORITE reactions to Pink Floyd. You really get them. I am 69 years old and I’ve been listening to Pink Floyd my whole life. (Usually on LSD.) Have done “Shine On You Crazy Diamond?” Your reactions make me feel like I’m hearing Pink Floyd for the first time! I love you!
It’s a lot of fun watching you experience some of the great rock ‘n’ roll bands, you look like you really appreciate good music and your channel is really a lot of fun!
I finally found it! I've been working through your video catalog in search of the day you discovered Pink Floyd and I finally found it!! Great reaction, as always!
Your journey into Pink Floyd has just started. each album is a journey, and every track is a different road on that journey. Dave Gilmour can make a guitar sing, cry, and talk at the same time. your reaction was priceless. i flew from Australia just for that concert. that second solo and the solo from Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, have been voted the best 2 solo's EVER
That was a fantastic reaction, really! I subbed because I want to watch you listen to more a rock! I listen to current music sometimes, but get discouraged because I cannot identify a single instrument in most of them. It’s all just sounds out of a computer, a beat. Then when someone like yourself hears music like this, it’s like the sun has come out for you after being in darkness all your life. Back then, no auto tune, pitch correction or computer beats. They had to play the instruments themselves and it’s becoming a lost art. Another fantastic guitar solo you’ll find in Pink Floyd’s Echoes. I recommend the live at Pompeii video. They were much younger then, but what David Gilmour can do with a guitar is freakish. Another incredible one is Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven live at Madison Square Garden. Jimmy Page is playing a double neck guitar, it’s amazing! Stay in the sun young man
I know this song since '79 - I was 20 at this time - I always feel the same emotion when listening to it ! Tears are never far, I am so much touched by this guitar solo... That PULSE live version is even better with a very long 2nd solo, David Gilmour took the time to buid it, and your emotion goes higher and higher... as he plugs his guitar directly to your soul.... And i always loved David's warm voice ! Dom, a 62 years old fan from France
You've just discovered one of the best bands EVER IMO. From the 70s they've made people emotionally feel their music and you now know that yourself. I've seen people after listening to this actually crying, others are speechless and everything in between, this entire "Pulse" concert is beyond words IMO. Their ability to touch everyone listening emotionally is a tribute to their genius. Keep listening to Pink Floyd and continue to be amazed.
Love your reactions to Pink Floyd! Please check out their albums Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Also, Echoes live at Pompeii, 1972, parts 1 and 2. Thanks so much!

It was literally a unique and fantastic journey. It's "printed" in my brain for the rest of my life.
You are extremely lucky to have experienced that live, they’ve definitely created many memories for lots of people.
Saw them in Vancouver '94... sat right next to Soundboard.
Then the 20 foot mirror ball right above me. And THEN.... !?
Holy crap.
And me! 😆😎
This guy's is an old man still sounding the same for over 40 years ❤
Looking forward to more reactions to Pink Floyd and other rock bands.
There’s a story that the lighting crew asked what their budget was & Pink Floyd said, “Yes!” 😂
Glad you’re enjoying this great band (best ever IMO) & don’t let the haters get you down.
Never ever talk over a David Gilmour guitar solo
Great reaction, as always!
pretty incredible
NOW UNDERSTAND 'cause we of the sixties ,,, We love Pink Floyd ^^
Magical
Your journey into Pink Floyd has just started. each album is a journey, and every track is a different road on that journey. Dave Gilmour can make a guitar sing, cry, and talk at the same time. your reaction was priceless. i flew from Australia just for that concert. that second solo and the solo from Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, have been voted the best 2 solo's EVER
Hahaha I’ve watched this a thousand times but it still blows me away. Your facial expressions were priceless.

Greatest concert and guitar solo of all time
Gilmour preaches with that guitar like no one else.
Probably the best Comfortably Numb reaction video I've seen. And I've seen a lot. In fact I'm addicted to them.
This concert video was an experience for me.
Love your reactions to Pink Floyd! Please check out their albums Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Also, Echoes live at Pompeii, 1972, parts 1 and 2. Thanks so much!
Yes... more Floyd. I recommend "Time" next... studio version. :) I am subbing in hopes of seeing more PF!!!! :)
With lyrics version.
You hit it perfect Brother. "Legendary" You have been Enlightened by the Music Gods. You will never be the same after Pink Floyd.
No one bends a chord like Dave Gilmour
A string btw not a chord
