Yes it is. I know it to be, because I have two uncles that have each had 6 different wife's. So they they're either just players or have no idea wtf they're doing with women.
When this album came out... You could not escape it... every house you went to it was on .... and we could not get enough of it.....and yes in those days we went to other people's houses and talked about thangs and stuff 😂
Great track, this was everywhere on FM radio for decades. This whole album is fire. It came out of all their interpersonal turmoil and drug addictions. One of my favorites of the album is 'Gold Dust Woman' which is mostly an alegory for Stevie's cocain habit at the time.
Beyond the sheer talent of the group- one of the best produced albums in history- the same level of studio diligence as Steely Dan placing every note and beat
The Bass and the Drums are so smooth you just fade into the groove with Stevie's voice. Great track on a great album. Thanks guys, keep up the fantastic (and hard) work, you are greatly appreciated.
You guys are on fire today, and you’re the coolest reactors on UA-cam. I look forward to your posts everyday. If the world had a lick of sense you’d be at 500K by now.
Once they start gaining great success, their videos will start to get blocked more and more. Idk why it happens but several reactors I'm subbed to have had this problem. I hope it doesn't here too
Fleetwood Mac is one of those bands that it's hard to find something that isn't good. Such talent. Even before Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the band.
I subscribed to your channel a few months ago & I wanted to give you 2 props. So many of the reaction channels are obviously a way for the host to shine the light on themselves & they either try & be funny or they exaggerate on how every song they play is like the greatest thing they ever heard! Lol What I appreciate about the 2 of you is that you don't overwhelm us with useless chatter. You listen to the song & most times make great observations about the song. So, I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know that I appreciate your channel. 👍
Christine McVie the keys had a great voice as does Lindsay Buckingham. They had fantastic harmony with Stevie Nix, who had a very recognizable voice and a very steady delivery. She probably wasn't the most blessed but she sang so perfectly for every song. She is what you call a professional. Knowing exactly where to lead, harmonize, add something to fill the transition. RIP Christine. Beautiful hearted woman. She was a treasure.
Fleetwood Mac smashed through the stratosphere with Rumours. They essentially became a supergroup when Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham joined the group.
I didn't realize you 2 were brothers!? How COOL! 😀 I'd love to be able to work with my brothers.....but I'd probably be in a padded cell somewhere in a straight jacket! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awesome channel guys 👍😊
Such a beautiful ethereal guitar sound from Lindsey's guitar, John's bass, Mick's drumming and Christine's and Stevie's singing; a timeless masterpiece.
Can't beat early or late FM...very distinctive sound! 70's-early 80's rock exploded...FM, Heart, Journey, Boston, LZep, Steely Dan, VHalen...just too many to name! Great music!!
Yep, Fleetwood Mac is my all time favorite band This album is Amazing, Go your own way is my all time favorite song of Fleerwood Mac, song by Lindsey Buckingham The Amazing guitar player of the band
This is one of those magic albums, like "Thriller," where every song was a keeper and practically every single track got airplay. Fun Fact: A lot of this album was recorded in the same studio where Nirvana later made their breakout album "Nevermind".
🇨🇦 I feel so sorry for this generation, and maybe the one before that, because they have not been able to experience this from back in the day ! The best music in the last 60 years came from 1963 to 1988 !
Parents and children listening to each other's music. Has to be one of the best ways. To stay in touch with each other. It shows that you have dealt with the same things that they are going through. Only with different music. I can't imagine not having my kids listen to the music that I listened to. And showing them that their music isn't that different.
When this song wasvfirst out i was in the hospital in traction for 21 days after a ski accident . this song got me through especially the DJ on WMMS in Cleveland would play this song every morning at the same time. It’s how I marked the days of that miserable experience. Later in life I got to meet Mick Fleetwood and he was one of the nicest people you could ever imagine. I told him the story and it was a good laugh.
This was the first song I heard when I was a kid and I got my first AM/FM handheld radio in 1977. Man, Stevie Nicks’ voice just carried me off into the night…
Finally, an honest reaction. There nobody over 20 that has lived in the US for over 5 years that hasn't heard this song. Especially since it went viral a few years back.
It's a fantastic album from start to finish. Got played to death back then, but it's so good most folks didn't mind. Definitely an album that should be in y'all's collection.
When I was growing up in the late 70’s my mom played this album non-stop. Rumors is one of those albums that is just pure perfection. I love when you were talking about driving around with your dad going to the “junk dump”. Brought back some memories for sure!!! The original Fleetwood Mac was more heavy blues based group, once the ladies and Lindsey joined their whole sound changed. They developed a truly unique sound that is singular to them.
Yes, more Fleetwood Mac! Dreams is fire. Keep them coming, please! It was Stevie Nicks (lead vocals on Dreams) and Lindsey Buckingham (lead guitar player and ex boyfriend of Stevie), who joined in 1975.
I love the memories of being in the car with your dad. I have the same ones of my mom taking me to school. We'd listen to the Carpenters and sing along together. The Carpenters could be interesting for you guys - female lead singer and she played the drums too. I'd start with We've Only Just Begun" - I don't know if it's your kind of music but Karen Carpenter has a one of a kind voice everyone should hear.
Christine McVie was in the band for quite awhile before Stevie and Lyndsey joined. She played piano and sang when they were still basically a blues band. She was credited as Christine Perfect, at first, because she had not yet married John McVie, the bassist.
This song was written about the breakup of Stevie Nicks and LIndsay Buckinham. Great reaction thanks....The Chain as well....and many others....Great live performance for this Band was done in 1993 at a concert called THE DANCE, recorded in a studio with a live audience.
Christine McVie was the first female vocalist added in their second lineup. She brought the first touch of bluesy pop, but when Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined from the US it all took off and Stevie and Christine made great harmonies. Untouchable light Rock with a kick. Songwriting like we don't have anymore.
Your dad seems like a well-rounded music enthusiast. Lots of different styles. But Fleetwood Mac appealed to a very wide audience. Much like the Eagles. Have you reacted to "Silver Springs" from the concert dvd "The Dance" yet? It's a must. Your life won't be fulfilled until you do.
Christine McVie held it down with Bob Welch a couple years before Buckingham-Nicks took hold. It's funny how Che said, "You can't have a bad day after listening to this song"---considering Fleetwood Mac may very well be the most personally corrosive, off-stage dramatic/dysfunctional band in rock history. 😄
To me, Christine McVie was the "secret weapon" of Fleetwood Mac. Stevie overshadowed her in some ways, but Christine wrote, sang, and played on *so many* great songs for the band, years before Stevie and Lindsey joined, and continuing long after that. Those Mac albums with Bob Welch are some of my very favorites-- Future Games, Bare Trees, etc. Great music!
Actually she was doing background vocals and playing piano on many very early tunes with the original band just was not official for a couple of years in.
I LUVVVVVV IT ❤ WHEN PEOPLE KNOW THE SONG BUT DIDN'T REALIZE THE ARTIST THAT DID IT!!! 😊 WAY TO GO YOU GUYS, DIG IT! AND OF COURSE R.I.P. ☹TO THE GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL ( CHRISTIE MCVIE ) A POWERHOUSE TALENT IN HER OWN RIGHT!
Rumors one of those albums you can listen all the way through. Pete Townshend Empty Glass just after this was another. Analog musicians. Creativity off the charts.
🎉 Well, 💕 both Lanes ... they are Great in their own ways the Originals starting the British Blues Invasion and their last iteration was Pop Rock... the one over arching reality is they are and remaind incredible musicians whose talent aloud them to continue making Great Music...and we are the better and lucky for it.
To me, there is no other Fleetwood Mac! And this Album!! Forever a must to have for all music lovers. Y’all would appreciate watching them live. Lynsey’s “picking/playing” style is really good to watch.
Stevie Nicks (female lead vocals) and her boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham (lead guitar and background vocals) joined the band together but there was already another female in the band - Cristie McVie who was married to bassist John McVie. Mick Fleetwood was the drummer - so Nicks and Buckingham joined those 3 to make up the new Fleetwood Mac in early 70's.
I know some will argue about this, but this was Fleetwood Mac at their finest. This entire album, every note is a masterpiece.
No argument from me
Def their best work by far.
No argument outta me ❤
You are as right as right can be ❤
Sorry the original Peter Green band was the finest
"players only love you when they're playin.." is one of the truest lyrics ever. I love this band.❤❤❤
Great one
And they were all playing with each other!
@@joelliebler5690 haha, yep... break up to make up, etc etc
Yes it is. I know it to be, because I have two uncles that have each had 6 different wife's. So they they're either just players or have no idea wtf they're doing with women.
Your parents did a fantastic job with you guys.
X 1000.....................
I agree with you 100%
Love there reactions👍
Preach!! Agree 💯
I wonder when they’ll do a cameo appearance.
Mom knew Billy P. Love to hear about him from her.
Oh yeah, raised gooduns they did and no mistake, and lookers too ❤
That woman has the most haunting voice!
When this album came out... You could not escape it... every house you went to it was on .... and we could not get enough of it.....and yes in those days we went to other people's houses and talked about thangs and stuff 😂
Same for the Fleetwood Mac album just before, the first Stevie and Lindsey record. "Rhiannon" alone got a zillioon plays.
I saw this tour live in miami..
Blows your mind!
still do that
There is a reason why Stevie Nicks is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice!!
Yeah With Stevie Fleetwood are Iconic
YES!! The "Rumours" album is an uber-classic. Indeed....it was inescapable upon release, a TRUE 1970s music touchstone....!!
The Bass and the Drums are so smooth you just fade into the groove with Stevie's voice. Great track on a great album. Thanks guys,
keep up the fantastic (and hard) work, you are greatly appreciated.
Between Stevie's voice and the drumming, this song can put you in a trance. So smooth. Thanks guys for posting this one!💞
You guys are on fire today, and you’re the coolest reactors on UA-cam. I look forward to your posts everyday. If the world had a lick of sense you’d be at 500K by now.
Absolutely!
Once they start gaining great success, their videos will start to get blocked more and more. Idk why it happens but several reactors I'm subbed to have had this problem. I hope it doesn't here too
i just love Love LOVE their harmonies, thank you men for your reaction❤️
This was a MASSIVE hit ,you heard it everywhere, super markets the radio ,everywhere, it would be hard to have not heard this song growing up
Well said well bloody said for real

just love when Christine and Stevie are singing at the same time....

This album is one of the best selling records of all time!!!
One of my favorites. Still sounds fresh after all these years. And yes, this is a classic record.
That may be one of the single greatest albums ever produced... not saying the best ever...but one of the greatest ever! No matter the genre...
Love the cymbal crash when the line is sung: "Thunder only happens when its raining"
One of the greatest songs ever sung. 😁💖
Classic blue eyed soul
Goosebumps
I didn't realize you 2 were brothers!? How COOL! 😀 I'd love to be able to work with my brothers.....but I'd probably be in a padded cell somewhere in a straight jacket! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome channel guys 👍😊
Such a beautiful ethereal guitar sound from Lindsey's guitar, John's bass, Mick's drumming and Christine's and Stevie's singing; a timeless masterpiece.
This whole album will kick your butt.
and take your lunch money!
So refreshing to have reactors who actually know, appreciate and understand, precisely what they're listening to. Class act
The production/mix on this album is superb.
over the years i have probably heard this song a thousand times. it still stops me in my tracks.
Saw them open for Jeff Beck in 75. I had no idea who they were. They took off real quick!
Timeless music. When the female voices were added to the band.....MAGIC!
Epic album. Every song is tremendous.
Love the bass...
Your dad has some great taste. 😊
Can't beat early or late FM...very distinctive sound! 70's-early 80's rock exploded...FM, Heart, Journey, Boston, LZep, Steely Dan, VHalen...just too many to name! Great music!!
Yep, Fleetwood Mac is my all time favorite band
This album is Amazing,
Go your own way is my all time favorite song of Fleerwood Mac, song by Lindsey Buckingham
The Amazing guitar player of the band
early Fleetwood Mac....'Hypnotized'...you'll DIG it!!!!
Always loved the band and Stevie Nicks solo music!
Still one of the most popular albums. One of my all time favorites.
Love this song
This whole album is among the GOATS! The production and song quality is timeless. Nice video guys!
Timeless.
Imagine how much pleasure Fleetwood Mac gave the world through their long history.
Great album
Of course you know this song. It’s been played on every pop radio station 24/7 since it came out 😅
Timeless. I remember when this came out.
This is one of those magic albums, like "Thriller," where every song was a keeper and practically every single track got airplay.
Fun Fact: A lot of this album was recorded in the same studio where Nirvana later made their breakout album "Nevermind".
It’s an amazing song!
I remember pre-release TV commercials for this album with this song. So uncommon to see an album on mainstream TV
🇨🇦 I feel so sorry for this generation, and maybe the one before that, because they have not been able to experience this from back in the day ! The best music in the last 60 years came from 1963 to 1988 !
The 70s... what a decade for music!!!
Remember the video of the dude on a skateboard with his Ocean Spray cranberry juice? This is the song.

I had a huge crush on Stevie Nicks back then!
Peace
Y’all been on a roll! Reminds me of my childhood, all the good music pumping out my house thanks to moms!!
Can't go wrong with a bit of stevie nicks, good shout. 😁👍
Classic and stellar.
Rumours is formidable album. ❤🔥
Stevie is my favorite female vocalist thank you!

As soon as the song started, the bro on the right knew he was listening to something great.
That bass gets me everytime… 🔥

Just bought this classic album on vinyl! One of the best👍😎
I have had to buy it on vinyl more than once for playing it so much lol
I also agree after Stevie and Christine joined it went to a whole new level.....
One of my personal top 10 albums of all time.

Rhiannon live from the Midnight Special is fantastic.
I'm glad you're checking out more of this album, right on.
A drum clinic on the whole record. Just the tone and sound of the drums then add a hell of a drummer and bass player.
this entire album is fantastic

That whole album is 🔥! I have had to buy the vinyl copy of it more than once
Yes !! Classic album. Listen to more of it
The Corrs do a great cover of this on their BBC MTV unplugged live video. Great reaction guys!
This CD was a stereo tester album. Play this and some Steely Dan and you knew if you had a nice system.
steve nicks voice makes me feel warm inside :)
Yes! FLEETWOOD MAC AT THEIR VERY BEST!!!
Love this album, I think Gold Dust Woman is one of my favorites, but this song is a close 2nd.
Yeah, Gold Dust Woman is my favorite FM song.
To me, there is no other Fleetwood Mac! And this Album!! Forever a must to have for all music lovers.
Y’all would appreciate watching them live. Lynsey’s “picking/playing” style is really good to watch.
Fleetwood Mac were originally a British blues band with the great Peter Green as lead guitarist.
A very very talented group of musicians and writers I hope you do some of Christine's songs
❤❣❤🔥Fleetwood Mac!!!
Thanks for another reaction to another banger, Keep ‘em coming
