This is very true, most giant people are often the nicest and very down to Earth. They always smiling and super friendly towards everybody, I think of them as big babies. I'm a small guy and I have to admit I have a very short temper, and over the years I have tried really hard to learn the true form of these gentle giants. Byamba is a lovely guy, very engaging and a great watch. But he's NOT a world champion. He's done well in the amateur tournaments organised by the US Sumo dude you see in the video, but in terms of skill level with the pros, honestly, it's essentially the difference between special forces and airsoft. In professional Sumo he managed one jonokuchi (absolute lowest division) basho (tournament) win. There are three more non-professional divisions above that - jonidan, sandanme, and makushita. The first professional division is juryo, which Byamba never made it to (he was a reasonably competitive makushita wrestler for a short while.) The makuuchi ranks above that - maegashira, and then the sanyaku ranks of komusubi, sekiwake, and then ozeki and finally yokozuna - are the only ones where you if you won a basho could credibly claim you were a world champion. If you put him against anyone in even the juryo division he'd get beaten very easily. Essentially he's a lovely bloke who never made it in pro sumo and does this sideshow stuff in the US. Nothing wrong with that at all; but definitively not even close to a world champion.

Quite a lot of people speak 3 languages, or at least when you live in a non english speaking country. I speak Dutch (native) English and German. With a bit french thrown in that is leftover from 2 years in school. It's more impressive when you speak languages that are so different from one another. Like a combo from an eastern language (japanese, mandarin, korean), south eastern (like hindi, thai, indonesian) middle eastern (kurdish, arabic, persian, hebrew) western euro languages (spanish, german, english, french, dutch) and so on and so on.
Its because in Japan its disrespectful to waste food because it takes hard work and long time to grow food. Here in USA they use machine and genetically modified organisms to grow our food with less work and fast.
Asians tend to know how to do everything when it comes to cooking. I lived in Japan (Okinawa) for 9 years and been to Korea 3 times for a total of 5 months. In Japna and Korea, all of the food is amazing. No matter where you go or who cooked it, it tastes amazing.
