One thing I find hilarious is that it wasn't entirely Ares' fault. Athena was there too, so once again, Zeus shows his favouritism by placing all the blame on Ares.
Now that I think about it, Kratos only ever had 3 gods on his hit list Ares: for killing his wife and daughter Thanatos: For killing his brother Zeus: For being directly responsible for the other two. And for making him kill his own mother. All the other gods just got in his way for various reasons.

In the comics Poseidon unleashed a plague that infected Kratos's daughter, Kratos participated in a tournament to win a cure all potion for his daughter, in the tournament he fought and defeated a warrior, the warrior wanted revenge against Kratos and gathered a big army and almost killed him, but Kratos made a deal with Hades. so in a way Poseidon started it all.

TBH, the Poseidon fight is the best fight scene in the entire series, possibly on of the best fights in all of gaming. It's such a wonderful spectacle, cool mechanics and visuals all around. What a great way to do a game tutorial.

Artemis was smart. Being the goddess of the hunt and all, the moment she realized what kind of game Kratos was on the hunt for, she fucking dipped and hasn't been seen since.

As someone who has been playing the God of War games since 2006, this is one of the best, most accurate parody sketches I’ve seen on the series. Awesome work, man.
If we’re going to be fair, Kratos showed up with the Titans to kill Zeus and no one else. Poseidon, Helios, Hades, Heracles, Hera, Hermes, Gaia, and Hephaestus all died because they either tried to backstab him or simply stood as obstacles between him and Zeus.
The reason all these people died to Kratos, is because their pride couldn't handle it. He wanted Zeus, Ares was a side distraction, but the moment he knew Zeus was the big egg he wanted to break, all these people, stood infront of him. Hell, he even warned these people, if they tries anything, they would end up in the dirt. TLDR: The bigger the pride, the higher is the fall, double the pride, twice the fall

The Spartan warrior is still alive since Kratos went back in time, before Sparta was even destroyed, before the last Spartan went in search of the sisters.
To be fair, Kratos didn't even know that was him to begin with until Kratos threw him out the window. Second, since Kratos turned back time to fight Zeus at his weakest, that technically means the Spartan warrior is still alive. Because Kratos fighting Zeus for the first time takes place well before Kratos's encounter with the last Spartan.

Now that I think about it, Kratos only ever had 3 gods on his hit list
Ares: for killing his wife and daughter
Thanatos: For killing his brother
Zeus: For being directly responsible for the other two. And for making him kill his own mother.

As someone who has been playing the God of War games since 2006, this is one of the best, most accurate parody sketches I’ve seen on the series. Awesome work, man.

I literally just wanted to see Poseidon's reaction, and boy he did NOT disappoint.
Poseidon had reasons to be angry with kratos but kratos had no beef with Poseidon and he still got like one of the most brutal death.
If we’re going to be fair, Kratos showed up with the Titans to kill Zeus and no one else. Poseidon, Helios, Hades, Heracles, Hera, Hermes, Gaia, and Hephaestus all died because they either tried to backstab him or simply stood as obstacles between him and Zeus.
He destroyed Atlantis in Ghost of Sparta. He had his EYE out for Kratos.

The reason all these people died to Kratos, is because their pride couldn't handle it. He wanted Zeus, Ares was a side distraction, but the moment he knew Zeus was the big egg he wanted to break, all these people, stood infront of him. Hell, he even warned these people, if they tries anything, they would end up in the dirt.
TLDR: The bigger the pride, the higher is the fall, double the pride, twice the fall

To be fair, Kratos didn't even know that was him to begin with until Kratos threw him out the window. Second, since Kratos turned back time to fight Zeus at his weakest, that technically means the Spartan warrior is still alive. Because Kratos fighting Zeus for the first time takes place well before Kratos's encounter with the last Spartan.
