Nice review. I’m thinking about buying this as my backup to the 900. You sold me with your comment on keeping up with the Deus and 900 in the field. Plus I’ve watched you crush it out on the beach with the legend. Thanks for your time and input.

Good review. I'd say its a great alternative to the Vanquish line from Minelab. I loved by Vanquish, but it wasn't waterproof, which is why I bumped to the Legend. The more I use the Legend, the more I come to understand it and the more stuff I find. Looking forward to seeing the Double Score in the field.
I used a silver Sharpie to highlight the buttons on my Legend. It works great for my aging eyes. Probably the best modification I have made to the Legend 👍👍

Run that DS on high recovery speed ,it seperates so well, and you still get great depth, im finding some targets lesch hand digger deep on park ,high recovery speed, 2 notches up on iron discrimination

Hey Gig, I’m sure they are exactly the same as the Legend with just less features? They would not design another machine, just take off some features to save money. You can’t beat Nokta and the machines for quality/price. Any other company if you bought a carbon fiber shaft, arm cuff, and a search coil it would cost as much as the whole Nokta detector, lol. Thanks and look forward updated testing

A firm endorsement from a man who does not hold back when it comes to giving his equipment a real hard time at work. If it'll bust, it will get found out with this man. If it holds up with him, it'll not let you down either on the durability front. Peformance seems reasonable too for what it is. Discriminaton ability, recovery/separation is key to success. Forget the "How deep does it go?" bs. As long as it'll find in iron on old sites (where most great finds are), 8"-9" is plenty in clean ground. If there's a hoard, most of the old analogues have hit 'em years ago. In my opinion.

Hey Gigmaster, Minelab better hope this video doesn’t go viral, it will kill sales on every detector they have below the Manticore. Is it me, or did you have the audio amplified on your Legend? It seemed the double score was a softer signal? Maybe you couldn’t hear tge small difference?
I bought the 900.. I didn't like it and sold it. Just wasn't for me. Looking for something else

I have hunted right next to a Manticore and heard every target he did.
Performance or you mean build quality? For build quality, fit, finish.....no one beats notka for 400 dollars.
