I like how ninja in that movie can do anything BUT being stealthy. He just runs from the murder scene through the empty desert in his full costume. The true warriors in the shadows.
That has got to be the single most frightening thumbnail you have posted. Like a crazed aunt about to perform the world’s most infamous belated circumcision.
The three ninja movies and the first two American Ninja movies came out when I was in high school or college. It was such a perfect time to see those in the theater.
I had the honor of seeing this and Revenge of the Ninja and Pray for Death all in theaters. Ironically it was my parents that took me at the tender age of 6 to see this. (My brother took me to see the others, Breakin, Exterminator 2 and other things I probably shouldn't have seen like Return of the Living Dead and Re-Animator while in single digits.) Lucinda was my first crush. LONG LIVE SHO AND KANE KOSUGI!
I first heard of this installment from Cinemassacre when Mike Matei reviewed it. Looks like the most batshit insane of the Cannon "Ninja" movies. Should give this loose trilogy a look sometime.
mah boy, you jussts hit me with some powerful nostalgia beams with the poster picture alone. I remember seeing the VHS in the local videostore in...89? 90? Its burned into my mind
35 odd years ago I'd never dream that I would wind up enjoying this movie as much as I do now. As a kid I hated this movie but I honestly have no idea why. It's awesome.
This is the one I saw the most of. I swear it was on every weekend when I was growing up and I probably rented it a dozen times after that. Thanks for the memories Snob!
They filmed the temple scene at an old church in my dad's neighborhood, and they let us watch some of the filming. Most of it was shot in my area of Tempe.
I recall catching this film once on TV many years ago, and though I barely remember every detail that happened, I do remember it because of the premise of a Ninja possessing a girl and turning her into a vigilante/assassin that went after certain people. What I didn't realize or recall at the time was that it was her going after the cops that killed the ninja, but I recall that she wasn't exactly the heroine of the film, rather a slasher. Glad you got to review this cult flick from my younger years.
My Mom rented this movie for me back in Kindergarten and me and a friend had ninja costumes excited to watch this movie....watching movies like this in the 80s that young was crazy😁
Was looking for this movie on ebay recently and it's kinda rare. Never actually seen it only YT reviews including this one lol. But I do have a huge crush on Lucinda Dickey. My sister also lent me the Breaking movie too, but their called Breakdance here in the U.K which kinda blew my mind.
This movie is so special it took Double Toasted two videos to do a bad movie roast. Also, check out The Horror Geek's dive into it's backstory on B-Movie Babylon.
That thumbnail looks like you're trying to pledge Lambda Lambda Lambda. I'm never going to find V8 sexy again! This movie has one of the best opening scenes of all time.
I loke that we don't know why he goes to kill the golfers, and then has a grudge against the cops 😅 plus very funny how after a cop massacre, the police station has a happy atmosphere 😂
What needs to happen is every Cannon Ninja movies you know the American Ninja films and Ninja films need a box set my favorite Cannon movies that aren't Charles Bronson, Chuck Norris, or Sylvester Stallone ones
I kept thinking I'd seen this, but then I realized that was Return of the Living Dead 3. Surprising number of parallels... Kind of... Maybe not so much
Every time snob reviews a cannon movie, an angel gets its wings.
No. An angel gets a kilo of cocaine.
@@John_Locke_108How about both?
@@wham-shirt-trimmer Coked up angels transporting drugs into Miami.
Now that sounds like an Canon film.
@@John_Locke_108 Quick call Chuck Norris and bring me the script
@@uncaringgenius(THAT'S MY BIKE!) 'it's an emergency! I'm Chuck Norris!'
I'm so excited because James Hong is in this. One of the most underrated actors of all Time.
He was in alot of stuff!
@@starsiegeplayer
He is one of the hardest working actors alive.
Cartwright!
Cartwright!!
Very true.
Lucinda Dickey in the house! I love her, wish she had done more movies.
She was always worth watching!
Cute and Sexy
@@shallendor Yeah she had such a look, energy, and acting style you did NOT see at the time from women
She looked a lot like April O'Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 😮
You are so right-she was truly one of the most intriguing actors of the 1980s.
80s movies are so precious.
Lots of cocaine.
The 80's were the best time to be a teen!
For Golan-Globus' sake, do not change that thumbnail. That is truly amazing!
That depends how merciful UA-cam is
The Ninja movie series has a special place in my heart.
I remember going to the ninja section in blockbuster video .. I think there were like 10-15 ninja movies in total and I rented most of em 😃
I like how ninja in that movie can do anything BUT being stealthy. He just runs from the murder scene through the empty desert in his full costume. The true warriors in the shadows.
This is such a Cannon film.
That has got to be the single most frightening thumbnail you have posted. Like a crazed aunt about to perform the world’s most infamous belated circumcision.
And how!
lets hope she leaves the fellatio rabbi out
I totally remember these as a kid
The Ninja trilogy is all good movies to watch! Ninja 3 makes a great double feature with Gymkata!
Gymkata would have been more fun if it also had spirit possession in it.
So much damn 80's crammed into one movie.
I watched that movie so many times as a kid
Thank you Snob. You're an anchor, a surly, witty, short anchor for more people than you know.
I want my lavalantula review!
It needs to be the secret ending to choose your own Gutenberg !
The three ninja movies and the first two American Ninja movies came out when I was in high school or college. It was such a perfect time to see those in the theater.
I still remember the night me and my cousin rented American ninja for the first time. I’m shocked that I do
This was on cable a lot in the 80's.
This might be the best thumbnail ever!!!
15:37. What in the …? That is amazing and hilarious.. I love those old ninja movies
I had the honor of seeing this and Revenge of the Ninja and Pray for Death all in theaters. Ironically it was my parents that took me at the tender age of 6 to see this. LONG LIVE SHO AND KANE KOSUGI!
I actually saw this at the drive-in when it was released. Remember the drive-in kids? It's certainty not good, but it is entertaining.
I first heard of this installment from Cinemassacre when Mike Matei reviewed it. Looks like the most batshit insane of the Cannon "Ninja" movies. Should give this loose trilogy a look sometime.
Restraining Order Eyes. Learned a new term. Thanks, Snob.
Man, Snob is spoiling us. Isn't this like the third movie he's reviewed and put out on YT in just the past week?
It wasn't a dance off, she was trying to exercise the Ninja spirit out of herself.
Brad, that thumbnail is a work of art. Legitimately one of the best you've ever had. 😆
She’s a lineman for the county, possessed by a ninja sword/haunted by a dojo with an aerobic overload
Man, you are definitely growing some momentum. Great to see.
More surprised about the Bouncer arcade game is so rare, I could see AVGN and the Snob do a crossover episode.
'84 putting in the work for giving Brad movies to talk about.
When watching this movie we just decided the Black Ninja's name was "Ninja III: The Domination" and I feel it elevated the experience considerably.
Few things say Cinema Snob as much as 80s ninja movies.
When Brad finally reviews a movie but I assumed he already has!
mah boy, you jussts hit me with some powerful nostalgia beams with the poster picture alone. I remember seeing the VHS in the local videostore in...89? 90? Its burned into my mind
Honestly this movie is better then it deserves to be and definitely a great watch.
This was my favorite cheesy 80s ninja movie.
16:11 ...LOL! It's like watching Shredder chastise Bebop & Rocksteady.
Love your channel my friend.
35 odd years ago I'd never dream that I would wind up enjoying this movie as much as I do now. As a kid I hated this movie but I honestly have no idea why. It's awesome.
If I could like this video more than once I would. Also love your description like the stand. Two of my favourites of your reviews.
I love how this has Night Flight written all over it.
The best of them three❤
Like you, we were love with Lucida Dickey
Two episodes of "The Master"?! Lucinda Dickey could take Timothy Van Patten with both arms tied behind her back!
Ninja 3 is the only one I've ever seen & it had me with the "only a ninja can kill a ninja".
HE FINALLY DID A GOOD MOVIE!
Omg. Why did it take so long to finally get to this film? I'm so happy. :)
This is the one I saw the most of. I swear it was on every weekend when I was growing up and I probably rented it a dozen times after that. Thanks for the memories Snob!

I loved Ninja III The Domination, so much back in the day!
This was one of my go to action movies in the 80s
great video. love this movie
"Attack, Dickie! Attack!" Oh wait. That's another film.
Lucinda Dickey ! I had such a huge crush on her after this movie.
My Mom rented this movie for me back in Kindergarten and me and a friend had ninja costumes excited to watch this movie....watching movies like this in the 80s that young was crazy😁
Your mom rented a movie with dozens of murders an a bathtub sex scene for kindergardeners?..
I remember watching this movie quite a bit back in the day this is the movie where the ninja basically wipes out a whole police precinct.
My god, I think I saw this as a kid. Some memories are being triggered. 😊
The good cop has
The power of shoulder & back hair
First film I remember seeing on VHS thanks to my dad
Only real ones remember the original thumbnail.
It was a work of art, Brad! What happened? 😆
Him stabbing the ninja in the head was the one moment I caught once on cable and it stuck in my head (pun intended) for decades
this movie is still my fav
COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU!
NINJA IV: THE DOMINATRIX!!!!
Thanks for excellent review! LOL.
That thumbnail wins 👍
love this part
Bananas! And I loved it.
This movie is so special it took Double Toasted two videos to do a bad movie roast. Also, check out The Horror Geek's dive into it's backstory on B-Movie Babylon.
The second was by far the best.
That title font is literally called "Chop Suey."
That thumbnail looks like you're trying to pledge Lambda Lambda Lambda. I'm never going to find V8 sexy again! This movie has one of the best opening scenes of all time.
Considering how many Snob episodes aren't on UA-cam,
how many people know that Brad reviewed like 3 movies about talking vaginas?
He's referenced it enough times I'm aware he's done at least two
Oh you GOTTA do the Canon Allen Quartermain movies.
I remember seeing this movie on video when it was 4 years old instead of the current 40 years.
I’m surprised they never remade the first two films with Kane Kosugi.
Hell yeah.
This guy should write for SNL. Maybe he can make it funny again.
I loke that we don't know why he goes to kill the golfers, and then has a grudge against the cops 😅 plus very funny how after a cop massacre, the police station has a happy atmosphere 😂
Their fellow cops probably hated them.
This movie was on cable a lot. Pretty much every vhs rental stores too.
The trilogy is complete.
Sounds like something that would make a great double feature with Lady Terminator
aw man I thought it was American Ninja with Dudikoff
Will Brad review the American Ninja movies?
4:27 Kobe!
Journeyman electricians actually make really good money.
Oh hey, it's The Miami Selection.
More like Miami Rejection
Lucinda Dickey never looked so hot 😉
It would've been awesome if Lucinda Dickey weared her ninja costume with 3 Adidas white stripes on the arms and legs when possessed by the spirit.
I fucking love this movie epic
16:42 True!
Honestly, the world would have been so much better if Pierre Kirby played more roles, no matter how often he'd probably be dubbed.
8:32 😂😂😂😂
That cop larps as Sasquatch.
12:20 Thats Called A Husband. ( Rim-Shot. )
Would you do an episode on the Cannon Film- The Ambassador from 1985. Love your episodes! Watched 1984 in Film 2xs! They are so entertaining!
4:21 At least they didn't have to wreck a chopper like in Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes.
Kind of... Maybe not so much
I honestly think he was more likely to find Excalibrate than Excalibur in this movie.
Snob, will you please review the rest of The Little Cars films? You did the first two years ago, but there’s still 6 more you could dig into.
