- Princess Diana's wedding gown, tiaras and jewels are among 150 items on display during Diana: A Celebration at Union Station Kansas City, March 4-June12, 2011 The exhibition includes nine galleries filled with home movies, photographs and other memorabilia commemorating the life and humanitarian work of the peoples' princess. Visitors will experience the elegance, grace and charm of one of the twentieth century's most-loved and best-known women. More information at www.unionstation.org.
Seems like only yesterday she was wearing that wedding dress. She left behind some beautiful memories. RIP Princess Diana always in our hearts. 🇬🇧
She achieved so much in such a short life.. Epitome of both beauty and strength
What did she achieve, besides her preteen desire to be Princess of Wales? She did not cure a disease, end hunger or homelessness (not even in England), get rid of landmines, or start a foundation to help the mentally ill, which should have been her charitable priority, having been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder before the engagement (not that she bothered to share that information with the Queen and Prince Charles). William and Catherine are doing what she did not.
I went to this exhibition when it came to my city. I didn't want to leave. All her clothings and items were fabulous.

I saw her wedding dress on display..... I hated it when I first saw it on TV. It was even uglier in person.....but the other gowns on display were enchanting

I grew up in Kansas City, if I had known that Princess Diana Collection was on display, I would have returned especially to see it! Keep up the good work, Union Station! I remember as a child taking the train from and to Union Station. Always will remember the gunfight and still remaining bullet damage to the beautiful building. Keep going strong, Union Station!

I got to see her dress and shoes as a little girl in Houston TX and I remember how tiny she was and her shoes were painted on the bottom. I learned a lot about what it is to be a woman that day my mother took me. It's not all glamour and jewels but the impact she had on the world as a kind person. She was a true angel because even though she had her own struggles she wanted to help others all over the world. She is with our Lord and Savior and we will see her again. R.i.p to the kind and true Diana Spencer 😇 🕊️

What a dear kind soul she was
I had the good fortune to see this exhibit when Union Station held it's Royal Wedding event on William's wedding day. The exhibit was free early in the morning before and during the ceremony, which they held a viewing party for. It was amazing to be able to see his mothers famous wedding dress and then watch his wedding shortly after. I was amazed that we had the unbelievable good fortune to have a exhibit honoring his mother on his wedding day. Interesting fact... Oprah wanted the dress for her show on William's wedding day, but Union Station said absolutely not, and made sure as many people as possible got to see it on that day for free.
