    Thank you this video helped me tremendously, brought a KP 200(naked version) of KPR pretty much about a month ago and was wondering why it kept stalling on me and wouldn’t idle unless I’ve rode the bike for about 10-20 minutes adjusted the valves and the problem is fixed bike idles, I can stop at a light or stop sign without having to continuously rev the bike great video.

      Hello Rajib, it's best to follow your owner's manual for valve gap specs, if possible, with that said. I did a search on the Lifan KPR 150 and from what I read the best gap is 0.08mm on in and ex. Thank you so much for your kind words, I appreciate that!!

    about to do this procedure today already have over 3700 miles. Are there any other bolts that need torque specifications besides the front and rear axle nut? I'm going to make sure all the bolts are tightened

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  Рік тому

      Hello Tac, it’s been a while. You’ve got more miles than I do 😁 I would check the exhaust nuts at the head. Front fork pinch bolts, usually torqued to 18 ft lbs. Check clip on pinch bolts for tight. Usually 18 ft lbs also.

    The intake valve is hard to get to, even with the gas tank off. I was thinking just removing the whole engine to Adjust valve. Is that excessive?

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  Рік тому

      Yes, that would be excessive and unnecessary! 😁 The intake valve is hard to adjust, there just isn’t very much room but it can be done, just take your time and walk away if it gets frustrating and come back when you’re ready. It’ll get easier to do the more that you do it. But really I’ve noticed that the intake adjustment hasn’t changed much but the exhaust seems to tighten over time. Good luck, I know you will get it 👍🏻

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  Рік тому

      Hi Joshua, you could probably find a general torque range for the lock nut but I have been tightening by feel for many years on many different bikes and I have never had one come loose. If you are concerned about that then by all means tighten up with a torque value, if you can’t find one let me know and I’ll see what I can come up with

      @herbiesgarage681 i heard that companies provide tps valu in mini volt like you put a multimeter in the tps connection and adjust according to the company provided voltage, but i cant find the voltage in any where.

    • @herbiesgarage681
      @herbiesgarage681  10 місяців тому

      @@4tbiker That’s interesting, I was thinking of just making adjustments until the throttle feels right, usually right off of idle is where you would feel the difference. I haven’t looked at the tps recently but I thought you could loosen the screws and just move it slightly until whatever issue you have clears up. Or do you suspect a bad tps and want to check the ohm readings for a bad one?
