Question for you Adam: I know you've made full body puppets but what is your experience with making over-the-shoulder puppets? For example, if you were to make a dragon puppet where one hand controls the head and the other arm in moving the tail?

That would be a great idea for older used puppets. Hopefully they don't end up like how some of the toys from Toy Story 3 end up.

Setting here watching you you could also use old shot gun shells for grips just cut the crimped edge off and cut off the brass and trim to size easy.

Question over time as the puppet is handled is the permanent marker bleed on to other parts of the mouth? Is there some sort of spray or clear coat paint to prevent that from happening?

For anyone using PVC, be careful heating it up! It's a carcinogenic material when burnt. Don't heat it too much, if you see smoke stop immediately. Always do it in a highly ventilated area.
