All the actors were good in this movie, but John Turturro and Tim Nelson were hilarious. Kudos to the Coen brothers for coaxing these performances out of them.

Larkin Poe covers Hard Time Killing Floor Blues, somehow in 2018 I noticed it among the line up over to the right and tried it. I recognized it right away but couldn't place where I'd heard it before and half way thru I did. I've been a fan of Larkin Poe ever since, you all need to see it. Put the terms in the search box at the top and enjoy. This movie has music history so twisted and tied up it's a work of art how it plays out. Tommy selling his soul to the devil so he could play a guitar real good has me slapping my knee every time he says well I wasn't using it. Absolutely magnificent piece of work by everyone connected to it. Clooney was good, but so was everybody else.
And Holly Hunter's? suddenly realizing she was signing to a different record label off the lesser charts She can makes such adorable and funny outraged faces for her bitches roles And the crowd, "we were at a more or less usual chicken fair background tunes (with their first intro song) when suddenly these guys unfolded their main guns with the ole timey traditional the way they play it so raw" fresh off the Prison sorrows indeed
I've djed and helped with many weddings on that stage, love it! Hasn't changed much at all and I can't help but see the SBB boys playing every time I go in!

Just a classic, every part of this movie and the music is awesome, it makes the mood for every single part of the movie, blue grass boys, good old fashioned hillbilly music.
Such a great movie with amazing music. Perfectly cast. Loved the many goofy expressions from Clooney. I need to rewatch! Then of course it blew my mind when I learned the storyline is a retelling of the greatest/oldest story of all time, the Odyssey by Homer.
For some good yodeling, check out Sourdough Slim (western) or Oech’s die Dritten (Austrian) and Franzl Lang (Bavarian). Herr Lang was the king of yodeling, RIP.
