What's the biggest Epoxy project you've done before?
This is wxactp6 what I want to do in the master bath of our vacation rental. We currently are living in it while I do renovations. The master bath has one of those plastic tubs that look like a jacuzzi but are just soaking tubs. As far as demo and reno, that's ready for me as I was a regional chief engineer for a hotel mgmnt company for years. And I grew up in a construction family. But this epoxy stuff is new to me. I grew up leveling floors and wet cutting tile and everything from rough ins to flush mount plumbing. This absolutely amazes me though. Do you offer classes to learn this.
That was sooo much fun working on that wall......Who needs a roof???
Hey Mitch!! Turned out beautiful!! Off topic..think you could do a video on epoxy hard wood plank flooring using the fiber tape? Leggari has a video on it, but you have to purchase the kit to see all of the steps and products etc. I'd rather purchase from you :)

If we wanted to copy that for that size project what would it cost in epoxy in color. Did you use 2 gallons just a rough cost the materials.

Been a while since I watched your videos. What happened to Mike?
I've been reading all the reviews on amazon about the system, and everyone complains about the ultimate top coat. Said it causes extreme orange peel and gets rid of the glossy shine to a matte shine. My question is, if you do not use the ultimate top coat - will the epoxy alone stand up to most abuse or will it scratch much easier? Or is there a rework of the top coat in the works or some type of alternative? Because clearly it doesn't work as described.
Used to be a fan until I did a job for a customer and couple years later it all yellowed. Great for dark colors but not white …
Takes way longer than that with Art Coat. If done properly and you didn't use white spray paint. (And I'm no fan boy either. )
What did you have to do?
Why don't you show how to do corners?is it like normal plaster and need a trim?

Can I do this to over my ghastly, ugly popcorn ceilings? I can't knock it down becsuse its painted. This would be lovely as a ceiling cover up.
If you can't knock down the popcorn, you could skim over it with joint compound. Or hang new drywall right over the old.
It wouldn't be easy or fun, but probably not harder than creating and hanging epoxy panels for the whole house.
