Great video, I see this happen often almost no one mentions this when doing a B/S delete video, but the reason that first bearing wen't a tad less smoothly was the threaded Philips headed bearing retaining plug was not removed, which helps retain the balance shaft bearings in the block, a keen eye will notice that you did removed the back bearing plug though, might make a note of it when you do the B/S delete install video.
This information about the plug is patently false. That plug is only there because that hole was created solely for the purpose of drilling into the main bearing journal for oil delivery. That's why there are two of them. One for the front main, and one for the thrust main to be fed from the main oil galley. These plugs in NO WAY "retain" anything whatsoever. If they did, they'd put pressure on the bearing itself, thereby distorting it and causing it to fail in fairly short order.
@@mitsuturbo yeah but i have had a few that were acting as if they were retaining them was what I meant, and they came out easier with them removed, well at the least in my case it was easier, you can also spray oil behind the plug with it removed to help loosen it up.
