You would be wise to only fill it to about 85 to 90 percent and leave some room to cool the deck to prevent head gasket problems !
I think its may be a cement and epoxy combo, but not completely all cement, which has been an old wives tale for a long time !?
For 12v are you running a relay per coil? Or obe relay for a pair of coils? What size relay?
WHERE DO I GO TO ORDER ONE OF THESE PANS
Alot of the ign1a kits for 2jz, they just simplify it and ground it all to 1 point... i guess itll still work. But not 100% the correct way...now that being said, i think itll work either way
I have questions!!
Ask anything!!
Really? An evo engine? Better uses for that engine than drag racing
Lmao. What other uses are there? Drift, Road Race, Street Car? All good uses for a motor that can handle abuse!!
I Really appreciate the Cleanliness, indicates quality workmanship, i really wish more youtubers would show us the same. Thanx for an excellent Video.
I need a gasket for 2g gst ASAP how do i get one
Thank you sir
Is this a kit you bought or are you bending everything to fit. Where did you get the ford 9 and 4 link setup? So so good looking good keep up the good work. I would love to build one similar to yours.
I took the measurements and had a place cut and bend the tubes for me. I still had to notch each tube to fit. Almost everything on the build is from Applied Racing Technology in St. Pete Florida. Thanks man fabrication portion is almost done.
Does these coils work on a stock ecu?
Yes but requires special wiring. You can get the special wiring adapter at ohm-racing.com . It’s called OHM Racing Plug & Play IGN-1A “Smart” Coil Ignition system. The price is pretty expensive though.
@@nexxracing thanx for the info 👍
Are these still available? I need one for a 7 bolt. Where can I purchase?
Find us on facebook at Nexx Racing!
Looking very good. I got a rwd 4g build I'm almost done with. Full drag car.
Love to see your build !!
Sick build
Super clean, found your channel from this short. Can’t wait to see how it turns out! This is going to blow you up! This car is sick!
You need an engine block earth to power them 🤦 head is just to fire them
You just need to attach it to your star grounding point. 1 ground wire goes to Ecu reference Ground and the rest to your star grounding point on the head or block
How do you unfill it?
How long can you run a full fill block for?
Depends on some factors but id say its not something you’d want to run for more then 30min at a time. In terms of longevity of the block just depends how hard you run the block and the upkeep .
Oem gaskets suck I’ve gone through 2 and leak even added a bead of good oil resistant silicone gasket and still leaks. I want to try your gasket.
Do i need to bead it with gasket silicone ?
No not required
What is the service life of your blocks after this treatment?🇦🇺🦘👍
I mean it doesn’t change the service life, you obviously can’t run coolant through the block so the block can only be used for drag racing. Just depends on how hard you’re running the motor.
I've never heard of this shit before and it blows my mind people do that 😂
Ok so your sad about atco dragway so what type of biuld you planning on that evo motor
All out beast !!! Billet crank, aluminum rods, anodized cp pistons , comp plus valves and s3 cams , dry sump system, it’ll be a 1000hp+ beast
Where you get that set up from
Applied Racing Technology in St Pete ,FL
@@nexxracing thank you
just trying to figure out my Rx-8 project don't really know which way to go yet? would appreciate any information on your frame rails, who did you order them from? Looking Fantastic!!!
They’re just universal frame rails you can get from any chassis shop. I’d recommend going with the tubed version though , going to be lighter and just overall better.
Is it a problem if I use this filler AFTER block bored?
So for this filler they manufacturer states it can be done after block is bored. I would definitely recommend checking piston to wall clearance after you fill it to make sure nothing has changed!
Bro im from the uk and i just wanna say your build and workmanship is so inspiring, giving me motivation to get on with my drag rx8 build! Keep up the awesome work!

Guys like this make me laugh. Probably takes the block to the machine shop and says "deck it" with no measurement to deck it to. Guys like this make my engine builds look great, like top fuel dragster engines.
These blocks still have to get bored, honed , line honed, decked , make sure the piston to wall clearance is to spec for the HP im going to run. Not sure where you get that I’m just going to deck it. I’m not one of “those guys”. Appreciate the negativity though!

Can you fill a block after it has been machined (bore and honed,, mains aligned)?? If you fill a block 100 percent can you just flow water through the head...for light street driving.
HardBlok says you can fill a motor even after it’s been machined. I just prefer to have it done before it’s machined. Now that’s hardblok , the moroso engine filler you have to do it before the block is machined cause it changes the blocks shape a little. Now I do plan on running water through the head , but my motor is for drag use. I wouldn’t recommend a full fill for street use unless ur running methanol which lets the motor run at cooler temps. Just my opinion tho!
You can't drive a fully closed deck on the street, maybe for a few minutes
No, fill it before.
@@youwantshum9860thats unfortunate
No baffles ?
Nope don’t need it the way it’s built , pan is built for drag racing, straight line not side to side for street.
Hey buddy what size an fitting are u welding on head ?
-16an
@Nexx racing - you wont be able to change the oil filter housing unit with another one - as that means you wont have an oil pressure regulator (which you need for the FF pump).
Peterson sells an oil filter housing and oil pressure regulator that I can put together that’ll work with the frontline fab oil pump . No worries I got it all figured out.
does the oem one just suck or what? havent put it on yet but I can tell its baaad underneath there
Doesn’t really come with one oem , you just use a shit ton of rtv which is a hassle to mess with! Or get one of the cheap ones from the auto parts store that you’d still have to add rtv to cause if not it’ll leak.
@@nexxracing Yea i was checking yours out because a while back im pretty sure bought an oem one because underneath my car its gooey and leaking from the pan. It seems like its common with the original gasket or something
Lemme know how that water air intercooler setup works out for I've been debating about doing one
You need to put the bung in the other way around. The machined down side goes into your exhaust pipe.
