Hi Larry😊. Glad to see this compilation of older videos. Hope you've had some rain a. nd are doing well. Your videos bring such joy and peace. God Bless you 😇
Very enjoyable! And I particularly like it when these videos only offer the natural actual sounds, or nothing. No music. Best part: the fawn curious about the flycatcher. Final comment: I'm glad I'm not a fish.
I really, enjoy all of your work .I dont know where you put your trail cams but you always seem to get a wonderland of tireless footage pls . Keep up the good work ,I'm sure I'm not the only who feels this way ty .you got my Vote lol .
Love seeing trail cam video from just down the road from where I live. Amazing how the raccoons & beavers tolerate each other & have pretty close encounters with one another. Great job!
The tree still hasn't fallen, but it's a windy day today so maybe it will finally go down. I will post another video once I get some more interesting animal clips and definitely after the tree goes down whether or not the cameras detect the movement in time to see it falling. Thank you for the nice comment!
I just "stumbled" across your videos and subscribed. I've been doing a similar thing here in New England and it's amazing the variety that show up around a tree! I call mine the "tree of life" because of the variety. I hope to see more compilations. BTW, I love the beavers. I've been trying for two years to film some beavers like that and this is great!
The beavers moved in a couple years ago and have truly created a new ecosystem. That creek used to be about 3 to 5 feet wide and about a foot deep. Since the beavers built their dam it's much wider and roughly 6 or 7 feet deep in the channel. There were never any heron, ducks, bullheads or snapping turtles that I ever observed before. I will post another video once I get some more interesting animal clips and definitely after the "beaver tree", as I refer to it, falls down. Thank you for the nice comment and good luck with your wildlife videos.
At least something truly beautiful came out of 2020. That tree... when! When will it tumble?! Can't wait to know 🤭 My heart is bursting watching the deer. Literally cooing at the cuteness.
It’s February 27th and “The Tree” still hasn’t fallen despite some 60 to 70 mile per hour (>100 kilometer per hour) wind gusts one day a month or so ago. With the cold of winter only deer, raccoons and coyotes have been showing up on camera, but spring is coming soon and everything will green up and the animals become active again.
@@larrypeterson3375 thank you for keeping me updated. I told my best friend about your trail cams, hope you don't mind, I took a couple of screen shots as I would love to draw the tree...
@@larrypeterson3375 thank you so much! Stunning to witness from the UK, can't get over how clear it all sounds too. Hope you're keeping safe and well 🍻
Blue heron is awesome , quite the predator, I can see how their distant relatives of dinosaurs , eyes set for binocular vision, the legs and the way they work, just add 6 tons and a huge jaw and you have T-Rex.
I think you are spot on in thinking the heron appears to be an evolved form of dinosaur. I noticed something interesting after I posted that video. At 7 minutes 30 seconds in the heron picks up a weed stem near the shoreline then wades into the water. At 22:16 with a bullhead hanging from his beak there is a similar weed stem hanging from the bullheads mouth. I’m guessing the heron used the stem as a tool to attract the fish into pecking range. Maybe having a “bird brain” shouldn’t be considered a put down. Thanks for your comment.
You can see clearly that the tree at the beginning is not the same at 8:00; the beavers have made more attempts. EDIT: maybe not; that was the other side of the tree. I wonder if they stopped being too active for fear of being killed when it falls? Also I noticed mom deer ran the other way, left and behind the big tree, and one calf followed, but not two. I wondered where the other calf had gone. Then next scene, nighttime, a sole calf comes toward the camera. I wonder what happened ... all manner of things happen. What? And then there she is back again ... so the other doe had the one calf.
@@larrypeterson3375 That sound that vividly brings memories of going to the creek at night with my Grandpa to hear., watch on occasionally, gig some . Thanks for the reminiscing 😔
I use two model T80 cameras made by Campark. I also have one camera made by Wildgame, but it doesn't record sound and limits videos to 15 seconds. They've been outside in all kinds of weather for over a year and I haven't had any problems with them. Thanks!
It's December 31st and the tree still hasn't fallen! So, the question of it making a noise remains unanswered. Just another 2020 disappointment. I will post a video when it finally falls, sound or no sound. Thanks for the comment.
Since I’ve never seen a squirrel behave that way before maybe there are fermented berries involved. There are several types of berries that grow wild back in those woods, none of which I would personally try for fear of some of them being poisonous. Thanks for commenting.
Nice to see natural footage. Not footage where humans lure in animals with food to their porches. Patrick Conley does that to get a bear/cubs to his porch to get you tube views. He is endangering the cubs because now they are ok with humans. Could cost them their lives down the road.
I have the low end Wild Game Innovation camera (it was a Christmas present) so it doesn't have very many options like the Cam Park T80. The Wild Game camera takes 15 second videos and you can't change it to go longer. I also doesn't record sound and just has a small liquid crystal display. The Cam Parks have a lot of options you can set, like video length, shutter speed for pictures, side sensors that start to "wake up" the camera before an animal is in view of the lens and will start taking the video sooner. Also, has a color display, temperature and moon phase that appear on the videos and more. I think Wild Game makes better versions than what I have and those probably have more features.
With the sharp dorsal and pectoral fins on a bullhead catfish, the herons probably want to make darn sure it's not going to flop around in their neck or stomach once they swallow it. The last heron appearance on any of my videos was November 1st, so I imagine they flew South for warmer temps and better wintertime fishing.
I wondered if they were smart enough to have safety concerns (tree falling on them while chewing) or if they noticed the tree is leaning away from the creek instead of towards it or maybe instead of being busy beavers these are just lazy beavers. 😉. Thanks for your comment. It negates my lazy beaver theory.
I had a camera on a smaller beaver-chewed tree and it fell within a couple feet of the camera a few weeks ago, knocking down the small tree I had the camera attached to. Unfortunately, the camera didn't "wake up" and start recording until the last couple seconds of the falling action. I was disappointed, but I'll include it whenever I have enough interesting things for the next video compilation. I hope to have better luck when the tree I've had cameras on since last May finally falls.

This is wonderful! I'm totally loving your videos and I can't wait for the next one. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the video
Love the raccoons playing with each other
What a joy to watch th lives of all these animals. Thankyou for keeping the cameras on!!❣️
It sure took the great blue heron long enough to break the diesel fin on the catfish.
Love your video! I had no idea there were beavers in Nebraska! Subscribed. Thank you !
Looks like that heron eats pretty well in that swamp!
Wow, enjoyed that, especially the heron, what a great hunter! Thanks so much
The little squirrel with the happy soul! How cute is this...?
Great footage, I'm really impressed with the Campark cameras.
New subscriber for you!!

So glad to see the second fawn, I thought we saw it get lost earlier
This is amazing! Loving it.
Thank you so much!
Great, thank you, one of the fawns was extra curious of camera.

4:37 “Hold the hell on, is that a CAMERA? Seriously??? How long has that been there?😠”
Amazing how that heron keeps spearing the fish until it's near death, or dead. Raw Nature at its best.

Dangerous spot hope no one gets hurt. Love this videos. Big tree hope it comes down slowly
I keep watching for the tree fall lol
We might find out the answer to the question does a tree make a sound when it falls?
You can see clearly that the tree at the beginning is not the same at 8:00; the beavers have made more attempts. EDIT: maybe not; that was the other side of the tree. at 2:10+, what is that thing swimming in the water, in the lower right of the screen, that is coming toward the coon?
Thought those were bullfrog sounding off in background of some shots? That would be nice for the herons!
Yes those were bullfrogs singing their one low note song. The herons have definitely taken their share of them, but I still see and hear some around.
@@larrypeterson3375 That sound that vividly brings memories of going to the creek at night with my Grandpa to hear., watch on occasionally, gig some . Thanks for the reminiscing 😔

Well i guess we will have to wait for the question to be answered, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around does it make noise ?? Lol

Maybe the squirrel at 2:35 is eating fermented berries. That will make you drunk like. Seen drunken bears before.

@@larrypeterson3375 I've seen squirrels behave that way several times after being exposed to moldy bread thats been composted in a backyard.

Do you like your wild game innovation cameras better or your cam parks

Herons can be brutal. They take their food seriously.

Little stinkers! I read where they only partially naw thru then allow the wind to do the rest.

A baby raccoon has to be the equivalent of a two year old child that found your stash of mt dew.
That poor mother had to deal with four of those rascals. 😊
