I like how Dean Cameron parodied his Dave character in the ski episode of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
That's immediately what I thought of when I saw this pop up on my UA-cam feed.

I'll always know Cameron as Chainsaw in Summer School. Him and that other guy were comic gold. To this day that movie cracks me up. It also had some heart to it.

Jedi Knight as long as your parents/babysitter allowed you to stay up past 9pm; it became a movie for kids.
Parents used to be cool and let us kids watch r rated movies. Friday the 13ths and nightmare on elm streets, i saw terminator 2 in the theater at 9, dont see that happening now a days. But yea ski school is one of those nostalgic "extreme" sports movies just like the movie rad was cuz there is thunder in my heart and every move is like lightning
This movie got zero promotion, and I don't even know how long (if ever) it was released in theaters, but I swear, everyone I know has seen this movie...

I remember these ski movies back in the day. The concept got revisited with “Out Cold” in 2001, with Zach Galifianakis, David Koechner, & Lee Majors. That’s another little gem.
I liked Out Cold, basically a spoof of the ski movie "genre?".

God, I completely forgot about this movie, this is why I love this channel, not just for the nostalgia with the movies but also all the behind the scenes and work involved in bringing them to life......another awesome vid as always!
Just a related anecdote I want to share.
I was in gr. 8 when I saw this movie so you can imagine how wild my hormones were "acting up". Anyways, in english class we had to write and create a small novel as an assignment. I, being the genius I was, basically novelised this movie. LOL! Sex scenes(toned down a bit), crude humour and all. My teacher was 62 and didn't own a tv so I banked on him having not even a clue to what the movie "Ski School" was. I was right.
*Edit:* Sorry, I didn't think anybody would've cared. I got a 44/50 for the story and 50/50 for the illustrated cover. Had 2 points deducted for handing it in 2 days late without a good excuse. I still have the "book" til this day in my attic. Went to dig it up since you guys asked. LOL! Looking through it now, I see it's horrible. 90% of it is dialogue quotes from the movie and I didn't even title it "Ski School". I called it "Ski Battle" Hahahahahaaa!! The burgeoning of my teenage edge. LOL!

Ski School & Summer Schoolm are certainly 2 of my all time favs, Along with The Barbarian twin flicks, plus a lil "Prayer of the roller boys" and your set for a Great time

As someone that graduated high school in the 90s, I can attest to everything in this movie and video. The 90s were all about plot > partying > getting some > conflict > party > party > getting some > party > party > plot
And the movies were too! 😁

They need to show this film in classes on how to "not to edit/continuity errors to avoid"...so bad😂😂😂.
I loved Mark Thomas Miller in the series Misfits of Science! I've never seen him in anything else other than this and the movie Bue Deville.
He did some TV shows like Sonny Spoon, Alien Nation and Silk Stalkings.
This movie was the plot of 80% of all 1980’s movies. Same characters just different actors. But somehow Your walkthrough makes me want to watch it. Keep them coming. Thanks.

Damn....I was hoping for a review of Ski Patrol which was a super movie IMHO. It’s worth it just to watch the guy who has multiple personalities and uses a rocket powered snow board!

It's basically "Route 66" meets "Alf". The whole series is on DVD.

I really do miss these dumb party animal sex comedies. I think this, the sequel, and Ski Patrol were the last of those. Here's hoping you get to Ski Patrol.

I first watched this movie at a party at my buddy's house the night before we graduated high school. We spent most of the following year randomly quoting the movie around the college we were both attending- even though most people had *no* idea what we were talking about.
Watched this film *way* too many times over the years.

This was a trailer on a VHS Tape I had as a teenager. I thought it looked fucking awesome but this wasn't stocked in any Video Stores in my area. Thanks for showing the high lights of this movie.

Oh my god. Rockula. I watched that movie once when it came out and the idea of a magical rhinestone peg leg cracked me up so bad that I still make terrible jokes about it 20 years later. I ask for one every Christmas. I'm hoping that one day before I die someone in my family will just give up and make me one just to make me shut up XD

One of my guilty pleasures
I loved this film when I was growing up! I graduated in '93, so Ski School was almost perfectly timed for me. Despite living in the mostly flat state of Wisconsin I was actually kinda obsessed with the So-Cal lifestyle of surfing/skateboarding/snowboarding and punk rock.
What stood out most to me in Ski School was the freakishly attractive Charlie Spradling as Paulette. To this day I've only ever seen maybe one or two other women whose smile lit-up a screen the way Spradling did. Spradling was just on an entire other level of gorgeous. Hey Charlie, if you see this give me a call sometime!

Dude you have to do Ski Patrol - that one actually has a lot of talent that went on to pretty big things, like Paul Feig, and the guy that played Kenny Banya on Seinfeld. There’s a few others too, it’s a great 90’s flick though just like this one.
We watched that on a movie night over on my Twitch channel. It was dumb fun but I cringed every time Paul Feige showed up.
It's nice to see that chainsaw passed summer school and went to ski school that winter.

I loved this movie as a kid in the 90’s. As you know, any funny movie with naked girls in was a win for us 80’s/90’s guys. These kids now today would cry and get offended by these films.

This was released the same time as total recall. The theatre wouldn't let my friend and I into Total Recall due to the scene with the 3 bare boobs. They told us to watch this instead lmfao.

That last part, dude you know he lowered his head to keep from laughing out of character.
I was subbed to one of those monthly video clubs where you ordered a minimum of three titles for peanuts and they would try to sell you huge amounts of other crap every month after sending you two videos and charging you for it without you asking. If you actually ordered something they would give you a 'mystery video' which was copy of some crap that wasn't selling well enough. That's how I got my first copy of this, the roller blade seven and hawk the slayer. This was by far the best.

I remember this movie being on Cable all the time. Yes it does seem like a much different time for sure. I was a about 11 when this came out . I remember thinking how cool the section 8 crew dressed 😂.
