  • @melvinshine9841

Someone probably said it already, but the "frogs" in this movie seem be almost entirely cane toads. Also, while that is a rattlesnake at 7:09, that's a cottonmouth at 7:13. I'm pretty sure it has it's fangs, but vipers have folding fangs sheathed in the gum so you can't really see them unless they're actually going to bite.

I seem to remember another frog horror movie (remember the same kind of menacing frogs footage) from the 80/90s. As i recall it was different kinds of creatures attacking but included frogs and spiders. It was kinda "Birds"-like, nature fights back kind of thing. Cant remember the name though.

I remember watching this film many years back (it is part of a boxset I got, which also has Lake Placid and Piranha. Make of that collection what you will) and being completely baffled at the entire thing. It was good fun though!

Ray Milland played such a great grumpy old guy in this movie. I wonder how much was the role and how much he really didn’t want to be there.

My sister and I watched this movie on TV about 30 years ago. The print shown on TV was so dark that we couldn't see a thing. I guess it got remastered or something because I watched it on COMET about 2 weeks ago and could actually see the movie. I think maybe it's better the other way.

There are many amphibians in those areas. The Wood Frog has a natural range extending past the arctic circle.
