The more I listen to Polyphia, the more I listen to Polyphia.
Well said
This is one of the comments of all time
They just get better and better.
The more I read this comment, the more I read this comment
@@MetalGearShredding this is one of the replies of all time
props to who ever sculpted and rendered their visualizations
Honestly, they killed it with their visuals. It fits perfectly with the textures the music creates
daturahex
yes kudos to them 🙌
@@dan-ll9gk 888vampires for this one
💀👌🤙
Polyphia and brass is too OP of a combo. Instant goosebumps.
RIGHT??? It’s like…getting something you didn’t even know you needed! 🤷🏾♂️
Would love to see them work with a drum corps
@@seventeenraccoonsinatrenchcoat Ohhhhhhhhh...Goosebumps!
Literally everyone of all ages who listens loves this.
Like WHAAAAAT?!?!
This feels like a new genre of music. Progressive + math rock + horns + hip-hop? How are they doing this?
Where do you hear math rock?
@@MichaelSolly97 I mean a lot of math rock fans dig Polyphia and they’ve kinda been adopted into the genre even though they’re a different sound from most math rock bands. I guess it depends on what you define as math rock lmao
Its funk xP
@@MERS03 math rock is pretty high activity, more often than not with a lot of action on the higher fretboard, and funky time signatures (not always though). It’s definitely progressive, but not math rock. Math rock is more Chon
@@MichaelSolly97 No I agree with you, I’m just saying that a lot of people consider Polyphia math rock anyways. Bands like CHON, Delta Sleep, Standards, etc. are math rock where Polyphia is more prog but I can see where people can think they’re math rock
I think this is easily my favorite track on the new album. The multivoicer with the trumpet sounds killer! Plus, after seeing the live leaks of this song, I love it even more. You know a band is great when their music sounds just as great live
was totally just explaining that to my buddy who I was listening to with when it dropped
Yes. Well said. It just sounds the most fresh, really among the new 12.
Yeah, would love to see them incorporate more Funk and Groove stuff. Loving the horns.
@@raphaellouisreyes6069 honestly all the songs without vocals are better than the ones with vocals. Other than abc and bloodbath of course
@@fenncarr3774 memento mori slaps as well imo
At this point I have listened to the whole album and I’m just going to say, I’m very fucking impressed. Can’t wait for future projects that will be coming up.
Man the album honestly feels mid. Maybe a 5/10. Just feels mid
@@MsSuperBMX some good stuff, some unmemorable stuff, some terrible stuff like the rap songs minus the acoustic one with the vocals at the end.
The most hated>>>>>
@@coloradomtnrider6311 Sophia Black easily had the best vocal feature with ABC.
@@MsSuperBMX you might just be baiting, or you you may feel that way because most of the big hitters were available ahead of time, like playing god or ego death. You have to remember songs like playing god, neurotica, ABC and ego death are part of the album, and suddenly it feels much more complete
Was amazing getting to meet Scott, one of the coolest dudes on the planet. This whole album slaps HARD.
same here!!
That’s Scottie to you, Scott is everyones weird neighbor.
Loving the consistent trumpet on this album
Ivan Jackson is the biggest feature in this album. He got his part in THREE DIFFERENT SONGS, tied the whole album together.
Glad I’m not the only one that feels this way 😊
@@lryuen_2261 which ones?
@@yme3345 Genesis All falls apart and ego death
I would personally prefer the tone of a sax. The trumpet is still nice thou. but if they added trumpet sax and trombone I’m sure it would sound so epic.
POLYPHIA IS TOO DAMN GOOD
@@digital_urn9250 lmao ok man
@@cjay216 found the jelly wannabe
fax 🤣😂😂😂
God Damn that is some well seasoned funk right there son
This band keeps reminding me how much I love music.
I literally cannot believe I am just now finding out about Polyphia.
Numinous. ♥
SAME WTFFFF
Welcome to the best band that exists today
Took you long enough.
When I found out about Polyphia- I was like- “this is what I’ve been searching for, for awhile now.”
Me too! My son turned me onto them just recently. Metal, speed metal, classical influences and some jazz. Incredible talent!
Man the horns with this just exceeds another tier of masterclass
“These chicks don’t even know the name of my band” is what the beginning melody is giving me and I love it
Yessss!!!! Thought the exact same thing
omfg D12 is so good I'm glad someone else knows them 😅
@@GrasynW13 they are extremely famous.
Every day that passes without a drum and bugle corps arrangement of this song, complete with full and extremely funky choreography, is a crime against humanity
Polyphia is a genre of its own, and every song is a subgenre
The guitar, the visualizes, the beat all go hard
They opened with this at a concert a few months ago and I though it was just an obscure song I couldn’t find but it was unreleased! It was one of my favorite parts of the concert and I’m so happy we have a studio version connected to it!
it caught me off guard how different this sounds than the live performances they did of it.
I wasn't expecting the guitars to be vocoded for this one, I get what you mean
I prefer the live version
@@ChristianKarhan There are some elements of this version that I really appreciate towards the end of the song but overall it there is a flatness to the sound for some reason and I just feel the guitars less.
I literally couldn’t take my eyes off the visualizers, they all look so good and captivating 😭
Found them completely by accident on Facebook.....now I just can't stop listening. Every time I think of another style to mix. Here comes another song....I literally cannot stop listening
Man, the funk y'all brought in to this album is something else. Gonna take a LOT of replaying to lose it's luster.
This album is sick. I love how it works with the horns. Gives a whole different dimension. Polyphia truly are GOAT.
I saw Brass Tracks live in Milwaukee and it was incredible. My mind was blown the whole entire show and I had so much fun! Ever since that night I've been a huge Brass Tracks fan and then once I saw that Polyphia did a collab I was the happiest human on earth.
To all the guitarists that’ll be learning the songs off this album - you got this. We in this together.
I love that Polyphia and this shred hop is getting more and more *notorious*
And to be real, for a stupidly affordable $70 you can buy a digital tab book from Polyphia themselves online, that includes tabs for every song they've released, by album/ep/single/etc.
@@Compton3clipsed That’s the most expensive tab book i’ve ever seen lol
@@2174863 It’s like 7 albums worth of tabs or more, and their smaller pressing stuff too. That’s less than $10 per album.
@@Compton3clipsed I guess so, but there’s other tech death bands with the same amount of technicality and music time within their albums only charging about 30-40$
@@2174863 None of that factors into cost. Also if no one knows who you are and won’t buy it anyways, you can’t charge as much. A single Metallica songbook can cost $20 or more dollars. Comparing that context to their price for over 7 releases worth of content is much better. Comparing them to niche bands you like more that can’t charge the same is a poor comparison.
Idk if it was you guys or basstrack’s idea but whoever thought to put trumpets in this song is an absolute musical genius
Best 25 minutes of my life listening to this new album 😂
It’s impossible to stop listening to it lol
39 minutes*
@@maynardewm yes with ego death, abc, neurotica, and playing god. I just meant the new releases
this is literally my favorite song from Polyphia. SO TASTY OMFG
This is just elegant and chill, like a cigar lounge. This is lounging music. Incredibly technical and sound, but when you close your eyes.
I really love the "thank u, next" vibes at the end
I love how this record has so many moods! It's lush and so well done.
WE NEED A POLYPHIA AND BRASSTRACKS ALBUM!
🤤😍❤️❤️❤️
I can't believe they did a Brasstracks and an Anomalie collab. Two worlds I assumed would never meet. So amazing!
This is one sick car commercial
probably my fav from the album so far
Loving all Brasstracks contributions to RTYWD. Would love to hear him on the next Polyphia albums too. Best feature as far as I am concerned.
@polyphia THIS IS THE ONE RIGHT HERE THE TRUMPETS ABSOLUTELY FIT SO PERFECT AND THE SOUND WITH THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A MASTERPIECE
This just makes me want a SAXL Rose colab even more, his work with intervals (D.O.S.E) was awesome, and his solo over playing god was great too
Oh yeah, he did a banger job with intervals. I think a snarky puppy/saxl rose/polyphia collab would absolutely floor everyone.
@@anubisakhenaten3094 that would be out of this world, you're totally right man
This is the perfect song to put first on the album. It has the perfect opening theme song vibes
Or end song vibes
I've been following brasstracks since 2015. Seeing him drop bombs with polyphia is absolutely mind blowing
after listening to this and rivers of nihil im convinced that guitar/metal and brass instruments really need to come together more often, they compliment each other so well
I like the theme they have throughout the album. Soulful and a journey.
It's other level of music, new generation, i love it.
love the new visuals, im binge watching every video, i waited for this all day! loved the live stream, some of those never seen light tracks need to come alive, but these are amazing
fresh, futuristic, familiar, alien souls funk blues?? idk what i`m listen to, but its literally fantastic
How will know that a trumpets and polyphia could be the best couple for an album
the trumpet goes SO WELL with the multivoicer effect
Brain: ok time to sleep
Also brain: good music time
Crushed it. Finally get to hear the studio version after listening to live videos on repeat and it surpassed my expectations. And they were awfully high ones.
I have a hunch that this will sound awesome live. There are some seriously good brass/hornline moments in this that will absolutely pop in a live setting
Your hunch is correct. As someone that saw them perform Genesis in NYC, the song slapped pretty fuckin sassily hard with the IRL trumpet from Brasstracks
it’s cool that the experience changes across platforms! genesis is so pretty on youtube, spotify has a bassier setup but youtube’s simpler setup has extra space for brasstracks sparkly lil’ grooves and some little details, especially at ~2 mins or so. it’s super vibey with the visualiser! i really like both for different things on the album
The groove in this song is hard-hitting, just awesome! Love when you guys get funky. Keep up the great work!
The brass section is hauntingly addicting- song got stuck in my head on first listen.
That solo reminds me so much of Chuck Schuldiner’s playing. Man… RIP
Runescape
Run escape
I need Basstracks to be a more prominent member of the band. Baaatracks' style and the boy's guitar playing his together like peanut butter and jelly
Yeah man Backstrats definitely got it going on with the prod
sweet! the trumpet is making me smile. love how seamlessly everything just works together and riffs together.
Damned fine work. I only recently discovered Polyphia, but now it's the only thing playing in my garage when I'm doing my woodwork. Really helps me focus.
Os caras conseguiram atingir um novo nível na guitarra.
I can't even imagine attempting to create these Visualizers, they are great! I love being at home around the house and putting them on the big TV.
Wow the guitars doing trumpet work . Interesting and super cool
I’ve been listening to these guys for around 8-9 years now I’m soooooo frikkin happy to see them finally start getting the recognition they should’ve been had.. I love Polyphia
The mix cannot be beat
Damn guys. I could go for a whole ep or even an album of Brass and Polyphia. Or like old school big band /bebop jazz style instruments. Lol so much sub genres you guys are giving me ideas to what to do and play.
Like wtf. Mind blown. You guys are too good. I'm glad to be apart of this new generation of guitarist.
Never expected this collab in 100 years WHAT
Dude. This is African American Gospel music! SOUL, BABY!!! This is winning the whole game, right off the bat, on the first track!
All the rest of the tracks are icing on the cake.
"Ego Death" to close the album out is just the biggest icing flex ever!
All i can say is I'm craving for more polyphia songs. Will probably have to wait another 4 years.
Bro there's so much to digest right now I think we can wait a bit lol
im still trying to get over death note lol
I could play this song endlessly
Okay but props to Clay for that cold ass bass solo😤
This really reminds mee of CREO, with all the horn section
THANKS JOEY FOR SHARING!!
THE VISUAL EFFECTS ARE MAGNIFICENT!!;
LOVE THE SOUND.. STAY BLESSED MY BROTHER. 🙏🏾
Slaps as always.🔥 Love how different this is with the other instruments. Always coming up with new stuff and it's always so on point. 😍 Can't wait to see you guys live in NJ! Sending love and light. ❤⭐
Might be my favourite from the new album 👌 The trumpet blends amazingly with your playing guys.. keep bringing back brass instruments!
The brass parts sound absolutely fantastic !
Back in the 1970's a space probe was launched that included among other things, theme show music from cop shows. Apparently it finally reached some alien culture light years away and they sent this in a reply. It has finally been declassified and we can all listen
.
I really love how unlike some bands whose earlier work is their best, Polyphia has remained consistently high quality, while only getting more POLYPHIA. Love you guys, I've been inspired to pick up a guitar after a 10 or so year hiatus because of this album
One of my favorites
😱😱 the collab of the century! Been listening to both them for years! This is crazy
Yooo brass tacks on this is fucking crazy. Polyphia so dope it's stupid
I feel like this is very good
It's amazing how a new song can sound so familiar and have you humming along.
Gah it's so good dude I can't wait for my cd
Me too
I love how you used the trumpet on this track and all falls apart. Keep it up.
This song jams! No words, we don't need em!
Love it! Polyphia is my favorite! Love it!
Song so good it could be an intro or an outro. But it's the intro and it just keeps slapping.
They should play this one at a football game
This album and especially this song is literally the opposite of what people say like that Polyphia is ''only showing off their skills'' or ''there is no music''. The whole album is literally godly, can't tell me otherwise. After more than a year, I'm still fucking impressed.
This the perfect song for a beer commercial with a deep voiced speaker 😅
THE TRUMPET SLAPS
The visualizer is stunning!!!
Wow not only awesome musical talent but very creative art work who ever is in charge of that
Man loved Brasstracks for a bit now, only hearing about Polyphia now. What the heck. Incredible.

whatever they do it just hits me in the core, i love those guys!!!!!
I waiting a long time for this, it was worth it. I loved it
love the brass
I'm so extremely happy rn, after years its finally here
This is a combo of all music genre ❤🎉
Most underrated song from the album
Polyphia, please, just miss once....
They are the best band out there right now. Already got my concert tickets for April 2023
