Man when my dog died I would cry and listen to this song all of the time. She, got me through such a dark time in my life, and I wasnt out of it when she passed. I missed her so much, wish she could see me happy now, wish I could have been happier for her then.
I'm sure she can see your happy now dogs do have souls I don't know where they go after they pass away maybe heaven. I feel the same when my cat of 15 years died he was with me when I was going through dark times too. I know I will see him again someday on the other side.
I'm sobbing listening to this as we speak. We lost our cat a few weeks ago and for some reason this song resonates with the emotion tied to that loss. She was the sweetest animal I ever met. ❤

Haven't listened to this in a Long time reading your comment, I understand, I had my girl for 17, had to put her down. I didn't take her inside the vets office I put blankets down so when they gave her, her final shots, she would be in a resting place, your doggie will be always Grateful to have had such a Loving Soul!
I listened to this during my first lsd experience and I dont think ive cried so hard ever since. It always reminds me that there is an immeasurable beauty available to us in every single moment, we just block it out with all our self loathing and guilt and anxiety etc...
100%. I stopped listening to Tool for a couple years after a traumatic drug experience. Found them a little overwhelming to listen to plus I went a tad overkill. Only just started listing to em again. Always been aware of Puscifer and A Perfect Circle but I've never really delved into them, aside from hearing Judith a couple times. So glad I did, they're both incredible. Especially Puscifer, none stop listened to them since and this song especially wraps aroung me and comforts me in all the best ways, MJK is perfect.
A year later. Was your experience with LSD profound or just a drug?

As one who has been following Mr. Keenan's ephemeral journey from near day 1, I deeply thank you for putting yourself on " Front Street " with this one. At sixty-two I find the peace and majesty (and realism) that this incredible man brings with him not just to the stage, but every where he goes, to be an awe inspiring thing so vital and necessary in these darkening transitioning times . I was born and raised in the wondrous place they call Arizona. I truly believe he found the "Magic" that emanates from the very ground itself. Especially around Sedona where he has chosen to create his home. Thank you for helping an old man walk in peace for a bit longer. And thanks as well to Maynard James Keenan for sharing himself the way he does.

I have never been to Arizona. the first time I listened I thought it was a love song. I suppose it is.
Not only have they captured the introspection of life and its relevance, they have also captured the quietness, yet grandeur of the Arizonan way: meditating, humble, in awe of nature’s stillness but power. Thank you for giving great homage to my home and to all those indigenous people that can before me. The answers are there if you look hard enough in the rocks and canyons and cactus, the rain filled monsoons and the blistering mirages.
I remember going to Arizona in August 2020 to see family I hadn’t seen since I was a kid. Had to stop by the Puscifer store of course. This song was blasting when I walked in. Memories.

Profoundly cathartic!!! And so polished in live form. My words cannot do justice the insight within the album. I was at the gym yesterday listening to this album and realized that Maynard must have been referencing the process of Individuation in human psychology. He paints a picture of his own process/journey in all his creations. We can all thank CG Jung for giving Maynard the best materials.
I 100% believe that he is enlightened, individuated, disintegrated, actualized, you name it.

Not to sound like an absolute turd but it’s just a super simple polyrhythm. Actually among the very first that one would learn. But I don’t mean it with any disrespect… it doesn’t matter at all that it’s technically simple. It was exactly the absolute best possible choice. A lot more musicians should take note of this. If it’s right it’s right. Stop over complicating everything.
But then again if we are speaking to pop music makers… for the love of god experiment a little bit more like this.
