Any time you can be the dirty birds on their home floor is fantastic. Reeves played like his hair was on fire in the 1st half. I was disappointed that Bradshaw didn't show up. I think the team as a whole sort of ice skated off the floor in the 2nd half and took it for granted. They need to play like they are from behind and play with high intensity. I really wanted Burks to show his potential but it didn't materialize. We are going to need him before the season ends. The SEC is going to be difficult. There defense is still a work in progress. Reed and Dilly off the bench is an instant spark every single time. That duo coming off the bench is borderline unstoppable. The rotation is in a really good spot. If anything I would swap Edwards’ and Thiero’s minutes
No. We don’t know what happens in practice. Cal gave him a shot in the game and he made two really bad mistakes immediately and it was early in the second half. It’s not that his leash is short but Cal is a competitor and a winner and I know he wants to do what’s best for the kids but he also wants to win every game. Burks will be alright, he’s got a good head on his shoulders and as long as he’s living in the game his time will come.
My favorite Calipari team by far. Would make my life to see Shep get his ring and Calipari to get his second which he needs badly. But I’m worried about Wagner and Edwards in the tournament. Hero ball or stupid play will send us home and Calipari is going to depend on them in key moments. It might be enough to stop us later. Edwards should really not be playing at the end of close games, and the ball should be in Shep’s hands most Likely. But we all know what would happen at the end of a tournament game tied with 20 seconds. We all know Edwards and Wagner will be relied upon. That’s the one thing that worries me. I will give Calipari credit for continuing this style of play, but I want To see it come deep SEC play and tournament time.
I'm glad coach cal let them go free the second half and do them, there arnt many opportunities like that that come around. there will be alot film for them to learn from the tape and fix by the time we head to Florida. I personally think we would have won by alot more if he didn't do that

I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily true at all. He’s struggled more than the other freshman but he has showed flashes of what he can do. It is 1000% mental for him. He has a lotttt of talent, he just needs to put it all together. You remember Kahlil Whitney? That dude had zero skill at all. Him and Edwards are not the same. Edwards has a tremendous amount of upside and I fully believe he’ll figure it out. We saw it in Canada. It’s mental.
