Who says that the Professional College Football League should have the same schools as the Professional College Basketball League (PCBL)? I know, I know, I'm ahead of myself, but go with me. If we wished to be part of a great league, we should join the basketball schools and not the football schools. Imagine this PCBL: Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, UCLA, UCONN, Kansas, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Indiana, Syracuse, Georgetown, Villanova (....). Every game is a Sweet 16 matchup. Sell that! No way we’re complaining, we put 106 on Florida, we beat a good A&M team by 12, and went into Starkville and won by 5, in the best conference in history, can I get a hell yeah? Take a look at Fayetteville right now, that’s us the last 5 years boys, makin excuses bc players are hurt and they played to win and we didn’t, we never had a 0-5 loss streak but if we didn’t get Pope this year that would’ve been us. Do I hate that we lost to Bama? Of course I do, we’re KY, we should win’em all, but am I hawg wild mad that the number 4 team in the nation came in and hit a few more threes than us at the end of the game? Hell no, we were in this game all the way to the end, and had we hit a few more threes or exaggerated a close no call foul a little better this game would’ve been ours. I can’t believe Coach Pope held the home win streak for as long as he did, we didn’t lose one game at home in non conference play, and the way the SEC is this year it’s lookin like no home game win streak is safe, all it takes is one bad night and a few close calls. This is what we’ve been missin, we show up to games we don’t win and win some games we have no right winning, all this in a year that Pope put a team together in no time flat. I figured it’d take a couple seasons for Pope to line things out, and hopefully the players on this team that can come back, will, and we can start building UK men’s basketball back to what it once was, dominant. It’s hard not to be excited to see what we do the rest of the season and double that for next.

Every SEC game is anyone's game to win. We only lost by 5 to one of the best teams in the nation, albeit at home. I expect half of the rest of our SEC games to end this way. It's all good. We will make the tournament. Keeping expectations realistic and hope in Pope.

I'm going to let other UK fans say how they feel about Arkansas fans. Personally, I'm going after the national media and the AP poll voters. I haven't forgotten about how they ranked Arkansas above us, how they kept saying Calipari, not Kentucky, was the brand. They were so sure we were going to flop.

This team is still coming together, and I see improvement each game. We still have a month and a half to bring it all together, and I think the Cats will. We are no where near the ceiling this team can reach.

Is it me, or does it feel like the refs call ticky-tac fouls after a bad call/no call against the other team? A missed travel, carry, or another bad foul call almost always results in an almost instant bad foul called against the team that benifitted from the last bad call.

I knew halfway through the first half UK was going to lose I knew they would lose lol they don't have a chance in the ncca tournament they'll be lucky to make it to the sweet 16 they probably won't be able to skirt by to the elite 8 I wish and hope they can but I don't see them making it to the elite 8 honestly they just don't have it defensively rebounding or being physical without fauling because karr isn't a traditional big man so I can excuse them on not having a super good team I'm hoping they make it to the elite 8 that will give mark pope a good introduction to Kentucky basketball and hopefully they get some true juggernaut players for next year and make it to the championship game honestly hopefully UK will make it to sweet16

I was watching a podcast last week and they were debating/asking if our team is soft or fighters. They said neither. Maybe some of y'all saw it. Anyways, they lost all credibility. Just because a team doesn't foul out or act like punks it doesn't mean they don't fight. And they CAN fight. Same goes for real life. They are new and still learning the system and each other. But they never played soft and fight harder now. Most of them. Its a reflection of the Coaches and staff how they play and carry themselves. There's ALWAYS been teams in every sport that play dirty.
