I love Merida. I visited in 2018 and had a great time. Also we had unusually cool temperatures which made it even better. Except for the heat, it’s a great place to live for expats.
I can't wait to visit Merida! I want to climb the pyramid, get into a cenote, and walk the tree lined streets after a great meal. Gracias, Israel, for presenting the area in such a graceful way.
Hello Ana 😊 honestly it was VERY hot and humid. I found myself hiding indoors during the day time. I would suggest going in the fall or winter. You might like the weather but for me it was way too hot 😅 cheers ✌🏽
Thank you Lorena 😉 I definitely prefer Queretaro. The weather in Merida is CRAZY hot. After 3 days I was ready to leave asap 😂 Queretaro has beautiful weather and the location is great because you can visit many cities nearby.
Characterized by colonial architecture, a tropical climate, Caribbean atmosphere, and frequent cultural happenings, Mérida is sometimes called the "White City," because of its buildings made of white stone and the city's cleanliness
Merida was called “white city “ due to caste war , and the people who had white skin dominated this territory above the Indians people , but many people thing , Merida is calmed white city because the building have a white stone
