⏩ What's with the gloves?
Not after any UA-cam fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing - easy to spot my videos! If that's not your thing and you'd prefer to watch a face, all good, I won't be offended, there's plenty of better looking ones to watch already on UA-cam ;)
⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)
⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)

I went with delta 2+extra battery with 400w solar panel. Great unit lot of power for a small fridge and other camping accessories.

Whats the chances on a comparison review on what works as a power system that can keep your fridge running indefinitely when bush with some supplemental solar charging? Are these ecoflow type systems better than a dedicated 120AH battery with BCDC and inverter setup?

Yeah good shout, will get these vids complete then reckon I could cook something up! The all in one units are getting pretty darn good, I think for a non tinkerer they're a good option, only thing is they start capping out on size vs cost compared to a DIY.

When connecting the Ecoflow Delta 2 to a 12v car battery using the DC plug [the aim being to recharge the car battery], how can I be sure that the power is moving from the Ecoflow Delta to the car battery, and not the other way around? And if you run a cable from the Ecoflow Delta DC port into the car cigarette lighter, would the current be flowing into the car battery?
No, you need a car charger. If you connect to car cigarette port it will pull charge FROM your car to the delta.
