Damn dude not only is your voice soothing and putting me to sleep... But THE FOOD is the star of the video you really need your own cooking show with a solar generator...
All I gotta say, look at that view of the country side. Now that’s where I would like to retire one day.
Have to say one of the best and most practical reviews and tests of these battery Banks I've seen
The food is as interesting as the tech stuff. Very impressive!
I like that you have broken this down into a package. One of the problems with solar installations or off grid stuff is they are either building the house from scratch or are adapting their life to fit things and having a fridge, freezer or cooking electric is ignored. We have a fire ban in Finland since May so cooking using a electric when camping is now the way forward.
Oh that's very important information for me right now, because tomorrow I will drive to Finland (from Germany) and I plan on making this an outdoor experience with working off grid etc. Is the fire ban still in place, or can you tell me where to look up these things? Suomea käy myös. Mä ymmärrän aika paljon nyt. Kiitos paljon.
Probably the best review I've seen this year on a product. Good job, you've got yourself a new subscriber
Finally a video showing it in action! Thank you!!
No problem!
Great video. Super helpful seeing real time testing.
Nice job on setting up a real test on the EcoFlow! Thanks. Have a safe journey.
Awesome Jason! Thanks for making this video, pretty useful!!
Loved this video! Just bought a Delta 2 max and can’t wait to start using it! Thank you!
Terrific...a worthwhile and informative experiment
Much Respect enjoyed your program. Learned a lot. 👍
Thats to be honest the best Video ive ever seen on a offgrid Solar Setup! So cool! Please do more stuff like that, i love your Videos Guys!
Im absolutely loving the videos, haven’t been addicted to a channel like this in forever! My wife is getting tired of hearing me talking about y’all all the time, I’m sure… Anyways, thanks for the great content and keep up the good work!
Glad you like them!
Yet another awesome analysis Jason. Also love that you make awesome meals and showing us real world usage of your products. Love your videos. Take care of each other.
Glad you enjoy it!
Awesome. Keep up the good work! I really enjoyed the review. EcoFlow donated a Delta 2 and a 220W panel to my channel so I can't wait to receive it in a few days. I can't use the Delta 2 Max because of spine damage (I will not be able to move it) so the Delta 2 is just right for me.
Brilliant presentation guys, you’ve done a fantastic job!
Excellent video
Awesome explaination for me who live in the remote islands.
That is a lovely home
Muy bueno ,me confraterna ver tu sonrisa cuando ves algo de sol ,me pasa lo mismo ,pero cuando miro el tiempo cada día y ve que vienen días malos ,me cambia el humor saludos y animo
Great video! Thank you!
Very nicely explained arguments. Nice video!
Excellent video, very informative. Thanks 👍🏻
Nice brother. Like how you show the real world. Thanks for letting us be a small part. God Bless
Real life application of relatively cheap solution how to take some place completely off grid. It was performing rather well and even better than I expected. Thank you for details and nice recipes!
Relatively cheap is correct. If you use it heavily it will break in less than a year.
We were living in the mountains of Panama, but had to return due to wife’s need for kidney transplant. This video makes me homesick. I really miss it!
Great video. It is obvious you put a lot of effort into making this over all those days! (You mike makes it sound like you are in a sound studio and I didn't see the video I wouldn't believe you were standing outside!)
You really showed a good way to make use of this unit.
Awesome video, thank you
Very good information, as always, with added yummyness. I’m off to the kitchen now. Thanks! 🤤👍🏻
Awesome video guys! I always look forward to uploads! Also lovely scenery!
Congratulations on finding a home down here! I hope you guys love Colombia as much as we do. Saludos de Bogota
We don't have a home, we just rented it as a hospice for our dog.
Thank you from KSA.
This is a good video. Thank you.
Great Video!!
Good video, Ive been off grid for 8 months with two Eco Flow Pro's. (14Kw) I hope to do a video soon
Thank you! Long time fan of the channel, really appreciate your sharing all the knowledge you've gained. This particular video was a great reminder to me that what I've got planned for my semi-temporary set up should be more than enough. Of course, I'd eventually set up more capability, but at the onset, should be more than enough to keep the lights on. LOL
Yuppers, especially if they're LED
Nice video! The food made me hungry!
Thank you 😋
Jason, I really appreciate your thorough review of this power station! Need one to put in my new to me 22ft RV. I think it will serve me well! And thanks for the discount!
Use it heavily and it will break in less than a year.
@14:34 Ah! Just what I was waiting for! Integrating the truck into the domicile energy envelope! Brilliant!
Very user orientated. With the timelap recording i can have a feeling how much sun i comming to the panels. Thank you
Nice video love from India ❤

great video very nice view👍👍👍👍👍
Great video brother …5 ⭐️ goes to it
Hey! I just saw your rig parked outside my house. Best publicity ever! Greetings from a temporary neighbor in Bogotá.
Thanks neighbor!
You said it windy, i use a wind turbine at the same time as the solar panel on my Land Rover, works fine, best wishes Dave Chubb
well done
I just used your code for my new 4000 watt hour
Eco flow system! Thank you!
I also have a ford 7.3 and I have enjoyed all your videos!!! We live in south fl and would love to meet you two one day!!!
😳 wow! Thanks! We are heading due south at the moment...
Love how you left the phone in the corner entire time
Great info as always. Hope Ecoflow is happy with your tests & data. Btw, you're looking particularly fierce on your thumbnail. :)
Thanks for that!

Another of Your #1 VIdeo`s 5*s Thank You for The Video`s Brilliant presentation guys, I hope it Help`s others to get Power.
O YA , is the Coffee Better.
I love this episode. It fires my dream of simplicity. Smal house with a simple electricity solution. We have a 3 Phase on grid system here in Austria. It is not easy to find a simple solution like your's.
As long as you can move all your critical loads to one phase, it's pretty simple... ua-cam.com/video/lBrndZ-gsSA/v-deo.html
It would be even better with 2 arrays over panelled and also 1 or 2 extra batteries.
Cracking video. Thank you.
Yuppers
The food looks mouth watering. Hugely informative content as usual guys. I watch a UK sailing channel and they just received a Bluetti setup. I chuckled as I watched it as it perfectly matched how you described most of these "reviews". Did you say that the truck captures rainwater into its tanks? That's awesome!
Yes, our aluminum exoskeleton creates a 1cm pool on our rooftop, and it was planned as rooftop water catchment, but wasn't fully implemented until we got to Colombia.
I'm running out of superlatives to rate your videos, mate. Thanks so much for such a thorough review. I'm sold.
You are now shaming me into becoming a Patreon. If only the interest rates in the UK had not render my finances so thin. Sorry.
I'm definitely going to work out a way to getting a way an Ecoflow at home with a couple of these solar panels over the garage and power some of my static units (fridge, deep freezer, microwave, etc) into those units.
Thanks again.
Use it every day and use it heavily and it will not last long.
nice video.
The idea to increase the PV cells on your rig is intriguing. I admire your greed. :-) There is no such thing as too much power.
Forget the ecoflow bro, I want a farm like that!!
Excellent review! Always good to see realistic testing scenarios, and you nailed it.
Though the single D2Max seems to be serving you well so far, with two more panels and an additional add-on D2Max Smart battery, you’d have all the power you could want as well as resilience for cloudy days etc. for a reasonable price.
I just got the D2Max as well with one additional battery and the dual fuel generator with four glass solar panels. Though this won’t power my house entirely, I plan to do exactly as you’ve suggested by putting certain loads on this system and allowing it to work at offsetting some of our consumption. All while being available to power up critical loads during an outage.
Great job!!!
Great video! Seeing the area, you should get a nice amount of wind, so consider include vertical wind turbines (3-4). It will help in shady/raining days.
We stayed there only a few weeks... Our trip South Continues
Dang now I’m hungry lol😊 Those panels at 180 bucks seems cheap to me.I’ll be needing 2 of those for ac heat pump mini split.I have a 300 watt panel running my 12v fridge in the camper.
Wow great video. EcoFlow should be paying you for your great advertising videos. If this video doesn’t get them more sale’s something is wrong?
Great looking food. Cheers to the chef
Fingers crossed!
A well thought out use.
Here in Florida our electricity bills have doubled in the past 3 years. Going from $120-$150 to $250-$300. Just a 2bdrm house 1100sqft.
Just need to figure out total cost of set up and cost savings. Just a rough thought would be 3-4 years to recoupe. But possibly half that once I figure out how much energy we use on average per day week month. ⚡👍💪🌞
Hopefully your power utility itemizes the kWh currently used per month...
For the power you are pulling the delta pro would be ideal and adding just one extra battery you wouldn’t need sun every day. Four breakers what a dream house not much pulling of the power.
I don't know about that, solar is so much cheaper than the battery...
Out of interest, it might be worth mentioning the typical daylight hours in Columbia.
Your evening cooking looks like you may have still had sunshine.
I'd also be interested how long on average you felt the Ecoflow wasn't charging as it was 100% and if one of the expansions would be good value should you have consecutive dark days or more load.
Obviously this would be speculative.
Because we're so close to the equator, daylight is basically 6am to 6pm year-round.
We never really sit on 100% very long, we always dumped that power into something, lots of caramelized onions in the freezer. But these two panels would have no problems with an extra battery.... If you had the load for it.
It got so windy just so you wont get much power and it doesn't rain :))
Great review, Short and to the point. although I don't have a need for it, I enjoyed watching your full video. Great work.
... Now even providing some nice recipes along with the tech information ... What else could you ask for? ... Thank you.
Our pleasure!
I was more interested in those 500 watt solar panels panel for less than 200 each 😮 JAsolar I believe
Exactly, hack of a deal!
the available vs what it takes is strangely so hard for people to understand. I currently "overpanel" my rv charge controllers with 400W of flat glass panels on a 360W capable controller. realistically I can combine all 800 watts of panel onto one controller and only loose 30-40W of peak mid day perfectly clear energy... This is my plan for the next batch of panels i'll install. move the front two arrays to a 4 series 2 parallel array, and then take the other controller and install another 800W on there. Id have the rv covered by now if I could find panels under $200 for a 500+ watt panel here in the US 😆
Overall Great test and explanation at a semi technical level for the broad audience. I hate flex panels! such a waste of wafers!🤣
Hello, and thank you for your informative videos. I would greatly appreciate your advice on my situation. I just purchased two Ecoflow Delta 2s and they each come with Ecoflow's 220W portable solar panels. Additionally, I purchased a two pack of their 160W portable solar panels. I got caught up in the Prime Day pressure to buy, and did not have time to do proper research. I live off-grid in Fiji, but am in the US for the summer. I will be putting these products in a container, to be shipped home before I leave the US at the end of August, so I have a few weeks to correct my mistakes, and make sure I'm sending myself a set-up that will work well. In Fiji, I would like to be using the Delta 2s to run a 7 cubic foot chest freezer 24/7, keep a laptop and two cell phones charged, and power a couple of lights each evening for a few hours. Beyond that, I would fire up additional electrical luxuries (like a Vitamix blender, or an ice cream maker) only once in awhile, and only if available power allowed. The chest freezer is the priority, and everything else can and will be put to the side in order to keep it powered. So, from this video I have gathered that I need to return the two 160W portable panels, and purchase one rigid 400W panel. One of the Delta 2s would be dedicated full time to the chest freezer, and hooked up to the rigid 400W panel. The other would be a back-up, and would be charged using the included two 220W flexible/portable panels. Does this sound right? Again, thank you very much for your time.
Flexible panels are always the wrong choice for fixed installations... They are not made for constant UV exposure. Whatever you spent on portable panels could easily buy you triple the wattage with rigid panels. It's probably a lot cheaper to buy these rigid panels in Asia as that's where they're all originating anyway... and be careful with importing a bunch of American appliances, as I believe Japan uses the 50hz standard as opposed to the 60hz used in North America. It may not matter off grid, but if you buy other appliances in JP they will likely have 50hz motors and hum on 60hz
@@Everlanders Thank you very much for the quick response! I just finished watching the previous video, the deep dive on the Delta 2 Max. I had to pause it so that I could really take my time to laugh at the "ain't nobody got time for that" segment. That saying, and that lady's video have been one of my favorite things for YEARS! Thank you for that. Back to the topic at hand... I am not in Japan, or Asia, I am in Fiji (an island group in the South Pacific), however they, too, use the 50hz standard. Do you say "be careful when importing a bunch of American appliances" because I would then only be able to use them with my American bought Delta 2s? This actually brings up another question I have, which might be better posed to Ecoflow: can I use a step up/step down converter with the Delta 2? I do have a couple of kitchen electrics purchased in Fiji that I would like to be able to run, again, only once in awhile, with excess power, using the Delta 2s at home. That converter should also allow me to use the few American appliances I will import on their grid, if need be. Please let me know if you have any corrections for this plan: I will exchange the 160W portable panels for rigid panels that will be hooked up to the Delta 2 that will run the chest freezer 24/7. The two 220W flexible panels (which were part of a package deal with the Delta 2s) will be used to charge the second/back-up Delta 2, and will be brought in each day once charging is finished, in order to extend their life. Again, thank you very much for your time. Safe and happy travels to you!
@Everlanders Hello again. Well, it seems that moving these units around the world is no easy feat. I've just learned that I am unable to ship my two Delta 2s to myself in Fiji unless I become a "known shipper," which requires special training. I tried going through EcoFlow's website to see about having it shipped directly from Ecoflow to Fiji...no dice. For fun, I entered an address in Columbia, too...no dice (they must have made a special exception for you?). I am now trying to see if I can return my very expensive Prime Day impulse buys. I'm so frustrated and disappointed. These were going to be life changing for me. Maybe I'll be able to order them from Ecoflow Australia, when they're finally released there.
Yup
My mommy said no! 😭😂🤣
you guys rock, but Im hoping your ok have not seen a video in a while? hope your both ok and still travelling
looking forward to seeing your next vid

I wonder about the water heater in the cottage... I noticed a shower and thought about it. Ah ha ... I see the black tank looking thing on the roof and "assuming" it is the heat source.
No, that's just a holding tank, there is no water heater here... The wood stove would be traditional I suppose.
@@Everlanders thanks for response and enjoy, keep safe and always drive safely. nice flicks...

All those bouge off grid meals LoL. When I think of my of grid meals it's usually pb&j , beans, chicken leg quarters on the grill
After year #5, PB&J doesn't cut it...
@@Everlanders I hear that!! Yall should do an off grid gourmet cooking series.
That's really cool, but clearly there is not enough for any A/C. Hopefully it's not that hot there? But nice video!👍
It's about 18c in the day and 10c at night.
👍👍
This is so awesome!! As a fan of off grid and someone who has been to Colombia many times. Did they charge you taxes on yiour eco fkow?
Yes, standard IVA applies...
Thanks for the video I'm in La Mesa Chicamocha Canyon beautiful view of canyon if you come this way welcome. Quick question can you get away with less than 1000 watt..?
It's entirely dependent on how much power you want to use... If you have low consumption, you can have low production.
These videos are making me an ecoflow fanboy and I don’t own any of their products lol
Hi, love your review, there are a lot of reviews on UA-cam, but your 2 videos are the first that are actually worth watching
There is one thing I was wondering (I’m not very skilled in electricity, I’ve just been watching videos to determine what solar panels I can use, so I recently learned about series and parallel solarpanels 😅)
if you put 2 of such panels in parallel in one input, your voltage is perhaps still good. But isn’t your short-circuit current going to be to high? I have this delta 2 max for my caravan, I also bought 1 glass panel for on my roof of 400W (open circuit V= 45,52V - short-circuit current = 11,27A)
The manual of the delta reads for each solar input 60V and 15A. So 2 of my panels in parallel would mean Short-circuit of 22,5A. So I would be going over the max, isn’t that a problem? I figure your panels will also go over it since they are even a bit bigger….
If that’s not a problem, I would probably have 2 panels in one input and keep the other one for a foldable panel of 400W, as backup if really necessary, or when I put my caravan under a tree, in the shade, I could set that one up somewhere in the sun….
The Ecoflow will only "Take" up to 15 (per port)... if there is more on a super sunny day, it just won't be able to accept it all. The current is pulled, not pushed.
Your 3 hours later and day two, where did you get the clips, please?
The audio is from the childrens TV show, SpongeBob SquarePants, the video is my own.
Would you advise putting 2 550 watt less than 60 amp glass panels on a vehicle to keep this unit running a fridge full time and electrical kitch appliance’s a monitor and some laptops?
I just got the delta max 2 with 2 free 160 watt panels but they’re the fold kind you slightly frown on
Just subscribed , great channel so far 👍👍 ⚡️
Less than 60 "volts" - sure that would be a great setup!
Where is the spreadsheet? You said it’s linked in the description but I can’t find it.

10:40 "It rained all night.... Thats good, the water tanks in the truck will be full."
Did you add a rainwater catchment system on the truck? I feel like I missed something. Also, how are those big panels going to integrate into your Electrodaucas SBMS0 system? I expect that you have some clever plans rolling around. 🙂
We've always had water collection, thanks to the 1cm ridge on the roof formed by the aluminum exoskeleton. However it wasn't utilized until about a year and a half ago...
@@Everlanders I'd love to see a video on the subject with your observations on strengths & weaknesses, yield etc.. 🙂

I don't think they have any upgrade programs in place...?
Tell me more about that fridge?
My small fridge pulls 200w while yours is pulling 75
Just a smaller compressor...
I'm kinda new to the channel and didn't realize you also had a 'sticks and bricks' home too. It's really a beautiful place with amazing scenery!
No, we just rented this to serve as a hospice for our dog Lincoln, but we leave on Monday morning.
@@Everlanders oh, I'm sorry to hear that 🥲
Where is a good place to purchase a Comparable panel in the USA?
I'm not from there, so I couldn't say... I think your tax laws put a heavy import tarrif on it so a comparable panel would be several times the cost.
Was there a link to the solar panels?
