Fun fact: The Haunted Mansion's Madame Leota was voiced by Eleanor Audley who also voiced Lady Tremaine and Maleficent. Coincidentally the woman who portrayed the face of Leota was also called Leota, Leota Toombs
I always get stopped on that ride, at DisneyWorld. I got stuck for ~20min in front of the ballroom/banquet once, and it was actually pretty cool. Another time, I was going down to the graveyard, when you get turned backwards, and I stopped half way down the hill. That wasn't pleasant, hearing the same song for 25-30min, hearing the dog whimpering. But you know what was the worst? I was stopped in front of the jumpscare zombies. Those heads that just pop up from behind a gravestone. My little sister, who was 13 at the time, started CRYING because it kept surprising her. Chances are, you will get stuck on that ride.
What about Who Framed Roger Rabbit? How many of you guys when you were kids didn't sleep after seeing that ONE part? You know... "Remember me Eddie? When I killed your brother, I talked... JUST LIKE THIIIIIISSSS!!"
My parents were like "HEYYYY LETS RIDE THE SNOW WHITE RIDE!!!" We had no happy ending. There went my vacation. I just wanted a lady puppy plush from lady and the tramp.. ;-;
+Clueless203 I feel like you should've at least gotten lady AND trap for having to wait. Or they should've got it BEFOREHAND so it could have protected you or something idk.
well when i first went to disney world Florida my mom asked "Is this ride dark" to the worker near figment, she said no, it was dark, (not in tone in lightness) same with the Adventures of Winnie the pooh ride
I dunno, man; being sent to Pleasure Island as a slave donkey is almost on par with being in Chernabog's Hell. And wouldn't the undead in the Haunted Mansion be from, or destined to, Hell? "...it's Hill Valley alright, but I couldn't imagine Hell being much worse."
My dad dragged me to the Extra TERRORestrial Alien Encounter once when I was fifteen and I unfortunately hated it because I couldn't stand being downright traumatized. I never realized it was so near and dear to so many people.
I rode the extra terrorestrial and I almost got out of the seat I was just tall enough to get into the ride I haven't liked those kinds of rides ever since that one
Disney is more fucked up than we think... ._. Like... the Beast's castle was enchanted right? All people were turned into furniture? Well... In the Beast's room, there's a lot of broken and ripped apart furniture... I'll let you ruin your childhood yourself by figuring out the rest :D
Good point, but if that were the case, then why would any of the servants still be there? None would be stupid enough to stay there if he was a murderer. Plus we see plenty of examples of furniture not possesing human counterparts too, so my guess is the ripped apart furniture was non-enchanted and ergo not able to get out of the way. Childhood restored!
I actually went on #2 against my will. I started crying and the Ghost Host ( I think... ) goes "Awww, please don't cry little child, you only won't get out." Didn't help to much. T-T
I think the reason the Haunted Mansion is such a classic is the jolly-good, haunting tune playing during most of the attraction and also the ballroom. It's all indeed terrifying but at the same time, meant in good fun. Kinda like Halloweentown...except scarier.
Haunted Mansion's all dark humor, with a little levity at points. Disney did one very serious take on the ride for Paris, dubbing it Phantom Manor. While it maintains a lot of the Haunted Mansion's elements, the story changes make it a lot more dark and depressing.
+AdrenalineAddict610 I remember Phantom Manor. I went to that as a kid and while I didn't scream or keep my eyes closed during the whole thing, I saw how creepy and messed up it was.
The narrator hung himself! I didn't understand when I first saw it, but now I do. I can never go on the ride again, even though I know what happens, I have a terrible fear of suicide. Good job being dark with a bunch of children Disney!
jesus.....a kid's head is cut off?! holy shit!! i never thought Disney would do something THAT dark! i thought the only times disney showed blood were in the Pirate of the Carabbean, and Tangled! i didn't think they would decapatate someone ON SCREEN!
Actually, Disney has given us depictions of Hell before, and after Fantasia in several shorts or episodes of their series: Hell's Bells (Silly Symphonies) The Goddess of Spring (Silly Symphonies) Pluto's Judgement Day Minnie Takes Care of Pluto Darkwing Duck episode 86: Hot Spells (I think) The Devil and Max Devlin Stop That Tank And probably more...
Wow... You're not even allowed to cut off a kid's head in an R rated horror movie! You're not even allowed to hurt a kid! Why would a G rated movie have some kid get his head cut off?! Just...how is that even allowed?!
Have you seen "The Goonies"? It's rated PG yet there's a scene with a naked statue.... it falls over, the penis breaks off, one kid exclaims, "That's my mom's most favorite piece!", and then the kids glue the penis back on, up-side-down. There's even more non-PG things in this PG movie. xD
+Gray stripe is mc This last name is made up He isn't really decapitated, one of the kids that are watching that happen is the same one it's happening to; Mr Dark is just trying to scare them off
Something that I have always found really scary is the begining of The Great Mouse Detective where the bat burst in through the window. Those scary eyes and those sharp teeth. It made me so afraid to watch this movie as a kid. Even to this day I find that scene scary as fuck.
Another fun fact about the Haunted Manson: you know Madame Leota? The head in the crystal ball? She's voiced by none other than Eleanor Audley, the woman who voiced both Lady Tremaine (Cinderella's stepmother) and Maleficent. That is frickin awesome.
They still have that dang Haunted house thing though. A skeleton that hanged himself, turning out to be the narrator himself? That is too terrifying and dark for dinner, using suicide to scare people.
Let's see here. Disney is known for usually sugar coating fairy tales and the like... There are depictions of Hell in Disney animation... Night on Bald Mountain is scary as Hell... It's a Disney animation, so it's mostly sugar-coated. So, if Bald Mountain is scary as Hell... and it's sugar coated... and a depiction of hell... then the real version of hell would be... oh shit.
4:52 - 5:02 "first of all, YOU'RE IN A FRIKIN' HAUNTED MANSION!!!!!!!!!!!!! AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WOULD BE SCARED IN THAT SITUATION!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!" OH DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!!!!!
There is a theory out there, when you encounter the bride in the mansion and enter the spirit world you actually commit suicide by jumping out the window.
7:34, AniMat I don't want to be rude but when you mentioned the entry with Master Gracey's changing portrait it's at the entry of the ride only at The Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion
What's funny is that there was this part on the Haunted House ride where it turned to the mirrors and I got excited! I was EXCITED at 5 YEARS OLD to have a ghost sitting next to me! Maybe this is why I'm so jaded when it comes to scary stuff, cause I don't even bat an eyelash at Doll Master anymore.
When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.
Funny story a friend told me about her experience at "Extra-Terror-Estrial". She said they force a special harness on your seat so you feel trapped, and also, this harness provides effects like the alien passing behind you and breathing on your neck. She said her harness was a little off, and was able to keep it from trapping her. She sat through the ride comfortable and quite amused at the freaked out people around her XD
Fun Fact: The reason the Snow White ride is so scary is because it puts you in Snow's POV. Hence, why you only see her once during the ride and the evil queen and creepy trees are aiming at "you" the entire time...Lol
Little fun fact about the haunted mansion ride: it's even creepier that the Disney parks have actually caught a countless amount of people trying to dump there relatives ashes throughout the ride.
Snow White's Scary Ride was the first ride I went on when I visited Disneyland. I was seven, and after that for the rest of our vacation I didn't dare to go on any of the other rides based on the animated films (Pinocchio, Peter Pan, etc.). I haven't been back to Disneyland since, and sometimes I wonder if the ride is still as scary as I remember.
ive heard that the ExtraTERRORestrial encounter was originally supossed to use the xenomorph from the alien franchise, but Disney forced them to change because that would be too scary
For the Snow White's Scary Adventure ride, you are supposed to be Snow White, as seen by never seeing Snow White at all in the ride. This explains why the trees are all aiming at you, and why all the queens showcases of the apple are looking at you. I learned this, and it kind of surprised me when I saw that was actually true.
My friends and I went on the Haunted Mansion as one of the last rides of the night, so we were the only ones in the room. One of my friends had never ridden on the ride, and it was so great because one of the workers really got into the part. He disappeared from his spot when the lights went out. When the lights went back on, my friend said, "Wait! What happened to that guy??" And he was right behind her. Freaked her out so much.
BALD MOUNTAIN SCARES ME TO THIS DAY! Also the Peter and the Wolf cartoon that may or may not have been on the same tape as Sleepy Hallow. That stupid wolf still visits me in my nightmares sometimes. Excellent list of some of my favs! I wish the horn king was more known, then he'd definitely be higher on most lists... He is freaky!
The Haunted Mansion has been my favorite Disney ride since the first time I went to Disneyland (about age three? Four maybe?) and the only part that really scared me was after the paintings stretched and the hanged body was revealed. But overall great list man!
The Haunted Mansion is my Dad's favorite Disney ride of all time. Every time we go to Disney world we HAVE to ride on it! It's even more fun if you go on it at night during the Halloween party! Although in my opinion the tower of terror is much scarier because you don't know whether your going you are going to be dropped or flung up, (the unpredictability of that alone is enough to make me cling to the lap bar once they show the guests right before the ride truly begins) But once I know which way they take me it's one of the best rides in all of Disney and a HAVE TO on the itinerary even if it does mean waiting an hour to ride.
i hear they're getting rid of the Haunted Mansion too for a Frozen ride. honestly, i kinda don't mind since they're really just keeping up with the times.
When I went to Disney World last year, I rode the Haunted Mansion ride with my dad, stepmom, and sister. We got stuck in the crystal ball room, and I freaked the hell out because what's worse than getting stuck on the Haunted Mansion ride?
Gotta say, I personally found The Haunted Mansion to actually be a harmless bit of campy fun; the tombstone poems were funny, the animatronics were pretty cool, the visual effects were great and it's still worth a ride if you want a good laugh
I went on the snow white ride with my sister, she was 6 and refused to look at anything. I was older so wasn't as scared but it still made me uncomfortable.
Just because the stitch ride is stitch it is still creepy as heck! Oh and night in bald mountain. Yeah I saw that in first grade! Thanks to my demented music teacher
Hella dork Jamie I don't know if I watched fantasia in first grade, but I did watch it in elementary school during music class. It might have been second or third, which is still scary for a little child, I mean you are eight or nine, hello that is pretty scary when your that young, especially if you don't like scary things. BTW I know this has nothing to do with Disney, but in third grade when we were learning about the rain forest, we watched Ferngully the last rain forest, and Hexas scared the living crap out of me.
Disney World took down the alien ride and replaced it with a Stitch alien ride instead. They also changed Snow White's scary adventure and replaced it with The Princess Hall. Which is a place that is just meant for you to meet the princesses and get photos and autographs. I really hope they don't eventually take down the Haunted Mansion.
The Haunted Mansion ride didn't scare me until my family's most recent trip to Disneyland. My sister purposefully neglected to tell me that they added the hatbox ghost to the ride, so when I saw it I screeched at the top of my lungs! I had read a Creepypasta about that particular ghost animatronic because I love to read horror stories, and I had joked to my sister about it on previous Disneyland trips because she usually doesn't handle spooky things well. So it took me by surprise to suddenly see the hatbox ghost animatronic when I thought it pretty much didn't exist anymore! It's hilariously dumb looking back on it now, but at that moment I thought I was as good as dead.XD
When I was at Disneyland with my family we went on the haunted mansion ride with my little brother (who was 5). He found it terrifying - but then the ride broke down and we were stuck inside for so long! I think it traumatized him.
I know of number 4, it is one of the scariest rides Disney ever made(if you exclude the now defunct Snow White's Castle Tour that was at Tokyo Disneyland, seriously that was a walkthrough attraction where you go through the DUNGEONS and encounter the villains of movies like the evil queen, the horned king, and a few others)
They trap you forever in this room where birds and tiki statues sing "In the tiki tiki tiki tiki room in the tiki tiki tiki tiki room..." over and over. I think it's near the jungle cruise. I can't remember. The birds brainwashed me, but a few years of drug therapy have allowed me to regain some composure.
+arbiter11171 I remember when I was 6 and my mom took me to DisneyLand in California. I took one glance at the tiki room, did not go on it and then had a really fucking weird dream about it.
Oh my god. The Snow White at ride at Disney World scared me to death as a kid. The worst part was that my mom didn't ride it with me the first time I went to Disney World. By the time we went back, they had updated it and made it not so scary. Basically, my mom ended up thinking that I was a chicken for the longest time and insisted that the ride wasn't scary. I spent years wondering why I remembered the ride making me almost cry. That's the worst part, honestly. The ride seemed to just transform. Now I know that they changed it to make it less scary, but as a kid... That type of thing really screws with you.
In a similar vein, Night on Bald Mountain horrified me as a kid because I saw it on TV one night and, naturally, it scared the living crap out of me. Again, my mom had no clue what I was talking about. It only got worse when I would try to point Chenabog out on House of Mouse, but he always was offscreen by the time I could get my mom to show her. The point of both stories is that a terrifying thing is only more terrifying if you're the only one that can see it. Sometimes it's better to know that something is real than to live with the possibility that it was all in your head.
A couple years ago, I went on Haunted Mansion in WDW and the ride stalled so my buggy was stuck in the attic with the bride. It was dark, oddly silent, the lap bar was still trapping me in the buggy, and it was only 5 minutes, but I had never felt so on edge in my life.
I went on the haunted mansion when I was 10 and I enjoyed it a ton. It is based on a movie from Disney and it is really an exceptional ride that was one of my favourites in disneyworld
I have the be the only person in existence that wasn't scared by Night at Bald Mountain. About the Haunted Mansion, I have to admit, it can be scary at times. I am scared of the zombies that randomly pop up from the gravestones at the Cemetery part and I used to be scared of that corridor right after the coffin where those doors are banging, like if spirits were trapped and were trying to escape and get to heaven.
I remember when I was at Disney with my mom, dad, sister, and brother. And my brother was walking next to me, and I saw that alien ride, I was like, "Hey, wanna go on that ride?" My brothers eyes widened. And he said. "NOPE." And started walking faster away from that attraction.
The Haunted Mansion? Dude, You're Not the Only One Who's Scared of the Haunted Mansion, I'm Terrified of the Haunted Mansion Too, 999 "Happy" Haunts? Next Thing you know, They're Gonna Add 666 Unhappy Haunts to make Room in the Unhappiest Ride, in the Happiest place on Earth, I'm Worried that Freddy Krueger Might be Hiding in the Mansion, and I Became So Scared By the Haunted Mansion Movie, That I Would Refer the Movie as a Horror Film, Why, I Disneyland is the Happiest place on earth, It's not with That Scary Ass Haunted Mansion Around There, No!
I know right! I am almost fearless, and the line games scared me, it made it worse when the ear piercing scream as you saw a hanging skeleton, that was the first time I was scared to tears, begging my mom to get us off and leave the men there. They didn't, and that night I had nightmares, something I never have. Good job Disney.
Numbers 14 to 11 in AniMat’s Top 10 Scariest Disney Moments 14. The Skeleton Pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl) 13. Toaster’s Nightmare (The Brave Little Toaster) 12. The Banshee (Darby O’Gill and the Little People) 11. Dragon Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
Even though Roger Rabbit has Disney characters in it along with other cartoon characters from other companies, it's not technically classed as a Disney movie
you're fucking serious?! is pratically the movie who saved the disney in the 80's , is more disney movie than Pixar's movies and Pirates of caraibes movies, Is not a Classic Disney, but it's part of the disney story
You're right there. I just did some research and found that Disney bought the rights for the film in 1981 so I guess it does count as a Disney movie. It is a great movie plus has the darkest death ever in a Disney movie
Fun fact: The Haunted Mansion's Madame Leota was voiced by Eleanor Audley who also voiced Lady Tremaine and Maleficent. Coincidentally the woman who portrayed the face of Leota was also called Leota, Leota Toombs
I noticed a lot of names in the attractions seemed to have been named after people who worked on said rides, its a thing I guess.
It makes the voice of Leota in the 2003 movie all the more embarrassing, doesn't it?
I was stuck in the haunted mansion ride for an our because of technical difficulties. A witch holding her head was staring at me for an hour.
It ALWAYS breaks down when we ride it. (At least the one in Orlando does but I haven't been to any of the other do I can't vouch for them.)
I got stuck on the Constance part.
+Nicole Azimioara I got stuck in front of the singing heads, and their song gets old pretty quickly.
+Critical Conn Poor you...
I always get stopped on that ride, at DisneyWorld. I got stuck for ~20min in front of the ballroom/banquet once, and it was actually pretty cool. Another time, I was going down to the graveyard, when you get turned backwards, and I stopped half way down the hill. "Remember me Eddie? When I killed your brother, I talked... JUST LIKE THIIIIIISSSS!!"
Nah... That was scary when I was 3, but I've seen worse sense then.
I know it's not Disney, but what scared me as a kid was Large Marge from Pee Wee's Big Adventure....
AKA Big Bertha
her face just....
and her creepy laugh....
*shudders*
Yup... that's enough to scar anyone for life.
My parents were like "HEYYYY LETS RIDE THE SNOW WHITE RIDE!!!" We had no happy ending. There went my vacation. I just wanted a lady puppy plush from lady and the tramp.. ;-;
Did you at least get the plushy for going through HELL!?
Tyler Bioshock R NO THEY SAID TOMORROW! LIKE AT NIGHT IS WHEN I GOT IT. AT 11:00 THE NEXT DAY I GOT THE DOLL!!
+Clueless203 I feel like you should've at least gotten lady AND trap for having to wait.
Or they should've got it BEFOREHAND so it could have protected you or something idk.
I have a lady plushie and a tramp plushie
well when i first went to disney world Florida my mom asked "Is this ride dark" to the worker near figment, she said no, it was dark, (not in tone in lightness) same with the Adventures of Winnie the pooh ride
Just for the interested: Chernabog can actually be translated into "black god" in Russian, one of the biggest Slavic languages.

Childhood restored!
I actually went on #2 against my will. I started crying and the Ghost Host ( I think... ) goes "Awww, please don't cry little child, you only won't get out." Didn't help to much. T-T
I LOVE Ghost Host! He was trying to make you feel better! He's nice!
Oh, I wasn't the only one forced there against my will then. When they allowed you to have an exit, I begged my mom to let me go, but she didn't.

well, if you're scared of spiders, than it makes sense.
+Alexander Potec That scene was freaking awful!
+Alexander Potec Don't forget, sleeping beauty. We saw dragon blood in dat...
There was also some blood in Beauty and the Beast when the Beast fights the wolves, which was notably a bit more violent then the usual Disney fare.
"BOOM! Here's Satan and a bunch of harpees with nipples. OooooOOOoooOo"
-Josh Scorcher: The Fiery Joker
+The Omnilution 2.0 That was hilarious!
Link to that video, plz?
Actually, Disney has given us depictions of Hell before, and after Fantasia in several shorts or episodes of their series:
Hell's Bells (Silly Symphonies)
The Goddess of Spring (Silly Symphonies)
Pluto's Judgement Day
Minnie Takes Care of Pluto
Darkwing Duck episode 86: Hot Spells (I think)
The Devil and Max Devlin
Stop That Tank
And probably more...
Hellfire in the Hunchback of Notre Dame
Mr Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland...
Don't forget Scrooge's grave that leads to Hell in Mickey's Christmas Carol.
Probably that Clock Tower in Epic Mickey (IDK if it's 1 or 2)
Holly Hanssen Frollo was a creepy ass perv and it totally went over my head as a little kid.
Best animated hell is in All Dogs go to Heaven.

dude...i tought i was the only one ! scariest animated scene ever
Yeah it’s a really solid jump scare
"Or if you're skinny, hope he's not hungry for diet people!" This made me choke on my drink. XD
Another fun fact about the Haunted Manson: you know Madame Leota? The head in the crystal ball? She's voiced by none other than Eleanor Audley, the woman who voiced both Lady Tremaine (Cinderella's stepmother) and Maleficent. That is frickin awesome.
The Indiana Jones ride in Disney land scared me the most. When that bolder was coming towards us I was freaking out xD
Kawaii Pickle or the big snake that comes out to eat evreyone
I cried and my family won’t let me forget it!
I was actually on that alien ride. it was fucking creepy, its too bad it's not there anymore.
Fun fact, Disney originally wanted the monster to be a Xenomorph, but they couldn't secure the licensing rights.
Cape jedi Now they can
WHAT IS DISNEY THINKING!!! CUTTING OFF A KIDS HEAD WTF!!!!
Just wanted to say, Sir, I've become a fan. You're incredibly fun to watch, handsome, expressive, sincere, and funny as all hell. Rock on!
Animat said, "F*ck" I never thought I'd see the day! :D
When?
Because of those pics that he showed in the haunted mansion part.

Now Disney World doesn't have the Snow White Scary Adventures ride anymore. They do have seven dwarfs minetrain which is so much fun
They still have that dang Haunted house thing though. A skeleton that hanged himself, turning out to be the narrator himself? That is too terrifying and dark for dinner, using suicide to scare people.
I actually went on that ride a little over a week ago. It was...disappointing to me, tbh. Maybe it's because we couldn't get a Fastpass.
they do its at disneyland Paris
Lauren Rogerson But we're not talking about Disneyland Paris. We're talking specifically about Disney World in Orlando.

that what you meant right?
…
Right?
videogamer004 so if sugar coated hell is still scary AF, then the real hell must be so terrifying that it'll drive anyone insane
100%agreed
4:52 - 5:02 "first of all, YOU'RE IN A FRIKIN' HAUNTED MANSION!!!!!!!!!!!!! AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WOULD BE SCARED IN THAT SITUATION!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!" OH DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!!!!!
For #2, I started crying when I went on when I was 8...I'm incredibly immature. You understand me, buddy.

ive heard that the ExtraTERRORestrial encounter was originally supossed to use the xenomorph from the alien franchise, but Disney forced them to change because that would be too scary
I hated the Haunted Mansion when I was little. Everyone thinks it's so cute. But HOW THE HECK IS A HANGING WOMAN DANGLING FROM A ROOF CUTE??!!
And the haunted mansion is fucking awesome! i love the ghost ballroom, and its actually fun getting stuck in it! best ride ever!!!
I have never been on extraterrestrial alien encounter before but I am beginning to hope for it to return in Disney hotels
I'm so Glad I Wasn't The Only One Who's Scared of The Haunted Mansion
9:47 to 9:50
best joke i've ever heard 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
kol
It's really disappointing that they got rid of the Snow White ride! 😡😭
They didn't, they changed it
I know they changed it but they still got rid of it.
sorry XD
It's fineXD
i hear they're getting rid of the Haunted Mansion too for a Frozen ride. honestly, i kinda don't mind since they're really just keeping up with the times.
You make me laugh so hard!!!! I love it! Gives me a break from "solving" ghost mysteries lol
When I went to Disney World last year, I rode the Haunted Mansion ride with my dad, stepmom, and sister. We got stuck in the crystal ball room, and I freaked the hell out because what's worse than getting stuck on the Haunted Mansion ride?
"Watcher in the Woods" and "Peter and the Wolf" when the wolf comes around the corner should get honorable mentions
Not to self: Don't watch in the dark.
That squeaky "FfffUUUUUUuuuuCK!..." I think some studios would have a perfect rodent's voice if they called ya.
Disneyland in Paris's Phantom Manor is MUCH scarier than the original Haunted Mansion.
Speaking of Christopher Lee, did you know he passed away 4 days ago?
R.I.P
(Im late but) rest in peace Christopher Lee
People would murder them if they did, it is on of the few remaining original Disney rides
I have to say, the Night on Bald Mountain segment is one of my all-time favorite Disney scenes, just *because* of how scary it is.
Night on Bald Mountain never scared me when I was little. In fact, it's always been one of my favorite parts of Fantasia.
I actually love the "Night on Bold Mountain" even what I was a bit younger I still loved it.
The Tiki Room is the scariest Disney attraction!
No its not!
what's that ?
They trap you forever in this room where birds and tiki statues sing "In the tiki tiki tiki tiki room in the tiki tiki tiki tiki room..." over and over. I think it's near the jungle cruise. I can't remember. The birds brainwashed me, but a few years of drug therapy have allowed me to regain some composure.
+arbiter11171 I remember when I was 6 and my mom took me to DisneyLand in California. I took one glance at the tiki room, did not go on it and then had a really fucking weird dream about it.
+arbiter11171 what?!?
I was the only one who probably looked when AniMat said "oh my god, what is that?!" at the end of the video
Sometimes it's better to know that something is real than to live with the possibility that it was all in your head.
yes!! it terrified me! funny thing is, Snow White was my favorite movie at the time
The alien extra terrestrial attraction sure scared me when I was little! I was so frighten that my family went on it again with out me!
I'm surprised The Black Hole and Dragonslayer didn't get a mention. Maximillion and Vermithrax were and still are scary.
What's the music in the background of the Haunted Mansion segment? It's soooooooo catchy!
The commentary, not the music in the ride.
i am never going to disney again
I was on that ride and I got the living crap scared out of me.
D: How dare that guy in Something Wicked This Way Comes torture that poor book!
I love the haunted mansion! If you look into its history and go on it enough it's actually quite a marvel 😊
I went on the haunted mansion when I was 10 and I enjoyed it a ton. It is based on a movie from Disney and it is really an exceptional ride that was one of my favourites in disneyworld
As a kid, I was scared to hell of that alien ride. I was picked as a meal, and got breathed on by the creature. It freaked me out so much!
7:01-7:06
Oh my God, Animat actually said "fuck" instead of "fridge" like he usually does! I think this is the only time he's ever done that.
I have only been to Disneyland Paris, but the scariest part of the ride was the singing heads, really creeped me out.
1:58
"Snow White? Not so much. Scary Adventure? YES!!"
Love that delivery for some reason.
7:48 THANK YOU!!!!!! That shit fucked me up as a child when my family wanted me to go to that ride. Never again dude! Idc if I'm grown now.
I actually don't think night on bald Mountain is that scary. If anything the animation and story (if you can call it that is) very very fascinating.
A Corner Of The Internet
same here
I remember going to that scary adventure of Snow White's. Made me fear the evil queen even more.
i went on it as a baby scared for life
jenny bean Why would your parents let you go on "Snow White's SCARY Adevnture"?
KaidoKaizoGaming it said for kids in the description...
Well you were a baby, not a kid.
KaidoKaizoGaming lol true
I remember when I was at Disney with my mom, dad, sister, and brother. And my brother was walking next to me, and I saw that alien ride, I was like, "Hey, wanna go on that ride?" My brothers eyes widened. And he said. "NOPE." And started walking faster away from that attraction.
"If you're skinny, you hope he's not in the mood for diet people!" xD
I rode that ride when I went there. I kept my ears plugged the entire frickin' time.
wtf i went on it when i was 5
I thought the scariest part is that at the end of the ride you're most likely dead, well that was like a story of the ride
Vulpix Lover Yeah, You're Right, So That's I Why I Don't Wanna Go To the Haunted Mansion Because of How Scary It Is.
10:42 Night On Bald Mountain is the best one on Halloween.
The laugh at the end. WTF xDxDxDxD
you know the back round music in number 2 well they PLAYS WHEN YOU ENTER SIDS HOUSE IN THE TOY STORY 3 VIDEO GAME!!
It was a pretty good list. I am a little surprised that there was no mention of the Tower of Terror ride in Disney World, though.
That's a cool ride!
6:42 my brain when I ride the haunted mansion
Numbers 14 to 11 in AniMat’s Top 10 Scariest Disney Moments
14. The Skeleton Pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl)
13. Toaster’s Nightmare (The Brave Little Toaster)
12. The Banshee (Darby O’Gill and the Little People)
11. Dragon Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
This guy's voice sounds like a disney character...
Really? The Roger Rabbit's villain is not here? REALLY?!
Na. I have to say that Clayton's death in Tarzan was the darkest Disney Death.
Yellogre Judge Doom! I ran to my mom screaming the first time I saw him showing his true 👀
