Honestly the black steering wheel controls look fabulous! On my VW Arteon I installed a leather wrap to help beef it up and make it more comfortable to use, especially on a long road trip. Nice in depth DIY video again!

Flat bottom wheels are the best. After driving GTIs for a while, I definitely miss the flat bottom wheel on my 9-3 SC.

A compilation of every time Auto Autopsy has made a remark about a steering wheel is necessary
You can swap the casing for the mounting of the steering wheel buttons I did that on my 03 to 07 airbag swap only difference is the wiring is a tad bit bigger other than swapping the casing it’s the same

To be honest I think I like the look of the late model sport wheel better. BUT that thing looks ridiculously comfortable to hold and like a big upgrade for the driving feel!

before you disconnect the battery you can just turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then do it top and bottom

Nice Wheel! On that version controls from 06 and up does not fit, maybe there ia a newer model, or MapTun needs to create one to newer models. Despite that, thats an awesome wheel!
I was looking to get one of these wheels, but I have an 06 of course. Now I’m not sure if the stuff from my stock wheel will fit
I would have gotten an 06+ wheel and kept the newer looking airbag

I had the same steering wheel (or very close) fitted to my 2007 9-3 aero a few months ago. It's great. The first thing that I noticed was that the steering seemed much more precise and direct..
Do you know how I can get the black surrounds for the steering wheel buttons?
Most 03-06 Saab 93s should have them, they just have a bit different mounting points for the screws you can see in the vid
Have you sorted your horn? Mine stopped working after replacing it with a maptune
I have not; I believe it's a CIM issue unfortunately. I think removing the steering wheel os many times over the years may have messed something up
Where did you get your front custom license plate? I would like one for my saab
Well he got it from a follower, who got it from “Transportstyrelsen” as personalized plate.
