I had so much fun, really! And the Saab held up pretty well! A lap I won’t forget! I’m trying to compile a video of this day to upload soon on my channel (stay tuned haha), thanks for this opportunity!
Edit: on Misha’s ‘very easy’ lap haha, was still decently quick, especially if you watch the video shot from a car chasing us

One of the reasons for the thing rolling so much is the sheer weight of the reinforced window frame.

@@sigi9669 hey man, no hate, I love all cars, and I also like Saab a lot, at least until GM killed it dead… I just remember multiple opinions from car journalists that the Mk1 9-3 convertible was a very bad chassis and it was really lacking rigidity (as you would expect from a convertible, however really badly in the 9-3). I blame GM for this anyway, they ruined SAAB, which was probably one of the most interesting car makers around…

It was the first time I had ever driven on an actual race track. I’m sure I didn’t set any record but it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. I consider myself an above average driver in general at this point but seeing what some people were doing on that track at what speeds humbled me big time. This video truly drives that feeing home. Out performs the 2007 Porsche Cayman I drove recently, almost any Japanese car I've driven & I have no issue keeping up with most mid 2000's supercars, even some 2016+ ones .
