The first axial flow harvester was built in Fort Wayne’s International Truck Engineering building I worked in the machine shop across the Aisle from Build Up
My dad and uncle had a IH dealership in NC for many years. When they retired, it was purchased by another dealer who moved it to new location off of I-77 (Mt. Airy).
@@Ihfarmer1066it doesnt matter the brand, a case can pull out a deere, a deere can pull out a case. But i perfer a quality machine instead of shitty equipment made by fiat.
They mentioned the 625, that machine while nice does fail at one thing: tight packed modules. I've got a friend that owns a gin that deals with 625 modules, they "hate them".
A lot of great farm equipment company's and their history. Names have come and gone and some names have gone together like Case IH. And when all is said and done the name that has lasted the longest is John Deere. Their history is legendary and John Deere has been the most successful company in the industry.
The only reason they lasted is beacause the never go out and put it all on the line to design something new they just imitate every other company out there
There is almost no way, unless you hired John Henry himself that you could cut 8 acres of grain by hand! I am not sure a fully trained athlete could cut 8 acres a day. Thats 348,000 square foot. And I doubt you could cut 40 acres a day with a reaper. I would like to see some proof of this.
There was no CaseIh history untill 1985 when an insignificant company called Case annexed IHC and took all their tech and machinery lines and dropped all their own products.
All they did was buy better companies. Case tractors were junk. Bought Steiger for the 4 wheel drive tractors. Then bought International Harvester for their combines.
That and because ih was having financial trouble in the mid 80s and case was the only one to buy ih and I agree with you because before they got ih case had nothing but shit

Background music should be just that!

Yes , a highly marketed mediocre piece of machinery proves farmers aren't that bright after all
@Stefan Milovanović it's more ego then anything

Been a IH guy my whole life but nowadays it’s kinda turned me away from caseIH gotten so over priced and not thinking about the small farmer

This is the history they should have tought in school, not the boring other crap that turned out to be nothing but lies.

The J.I Case company but I agree there was never really any history until they merged ih with Case
Tu come stai ecceccecc
Not as cool as the john deere history video
Whooooooo cares
John deere had nothing interesting about its history besides buying the waterloo boy tractor co because all deere made tractors were shit
Lastima que de los exelentes tractores que producia IH solo permanece el color . Lo de hoy es una rara mezcla de Fiat y Ford pintados de rojo
:)
