You are supposed to put your finger print in before scratching it, here why... if you scratch it and then put your finger in, it’s picking up every scratch and part of you finger both a the same time. Another example, Face ID... let’s say you get beat up and you have bumps, bruises, cuts, etc on your face and then set up Face ID it would work. BUT if you got beat up after setting up a clean face and then got beat up it wouldn’t work because there’s a change on the face AFTER the clean set up was already put in.
I prefer there never to be any adhesive because it'll make screen replacements much easier to do. Adhesives makes repair harder, meaning you're paying more for that battery replacement.
I've had my KeyOne for almost 2yrs, still don't have an issue with the screen, in fact, the phone has amazing, no issues at all, extremely impressed compared to others who's phones are twice or three times as expensive!
Your test in scratching the fingerprint scanner is absolutely flawed. You don't take into account that the scanner might consider the scratches a pattern to recognize. Here's how you should test it: Register a fingerprint, THEN scratch it. Test fingerprint. Make a new fingerprint with the scratches, then test to see if it unlocks with just that ONE finger, or multiple fingers. If it unlocks with multiple fingers, it means it's recognizing the scratches as a fingerprint pattern, so therefore it becomes useless.
It doesn't matter if it recognizes the scratches as a fingerprint. As long as it only unlocks to the finger that is registered then it's fine. Some phones he has tested fail the test which means they are using an inferior finger print scanner.
ManisCo its not flawed at all. The finger print scanner only registers finger prints. Anything else it doesnt recognize and fail to register snd work with.

Don't waste your money bro, the phone is a complete flop and more videos over the coming weeks will start to show this. Had it for two days and sent it back because of how awful it really is. If you have had a newer Samsung or iphone then you will not be satisfied with this device. Despite UA-camr claim.. it overheats like crazy on a simple charge with nothing in the background. The keys and scrolling is wildly inconsistent, as is the joke of a camera. Just one consumer to another.. don't look back on this phone.
John Merced no problem bro. I was honestly seriously disappointed, I had very high hopes that this device would return blackberry back to what at the time thought was the best. Thing is.. we've advanced passed a physical keyboard and in no way does it allow you to be more productive when the specs are less then even mid range and just are out right awful. There was almost 0 thought put into the internals of this phone. There's no adhesive holding the screen in place and someone has already had it pop off from simply dropping it on their center console, there's nothing that justifies the lack of thought put into this phone. Bet it'll take them a while to refund me as well, beyond disappointed. If this trial and error did one thing it's teach me why some phones cost so much more then others.
There is a real world durability test on keyone vs iphone 7 and s8 it survived on most of the test while the s8 broke on few drops, iphone broke easy...both of those phone are built cheap but sold expensive...the keyone is built more premium...s8 camera is not better, it takes fake pics that are not real world experience lol....it will lag in few months...the batter on those two phones are horrible....
Really appreciate what you do, the amount of money we pay for these phones nowadays is just incredible. These companies better step it up and make their phones a little bit more life resistant.
