I appreciate you showing us the two different versions. Not just so we can see the difference in how it looks with the 2 substrates, but also so we can see that sometimes you have to pull things apart and start again, to get it right.
Think your channel is one of the best as not everyone can afford the high end lights and filters which puts a lot of people off keeping fish nice to see someone keeping it simple thanks
Dude you've completely changed my mind on the curve tank wasnt much of a fan and now I might scape one up for my mum for Christmas. Thanks for the idea man
Wonderful ideas as always. It's beautiful aesthetically made and was put into another level by your amazing plant scape ideas. I'm really hooked in to this. Love you Mr. MDFT❤️
The Curve tank looks really good. And Like the way it is filtered so you could use different substrates to enhance the filtration, so its like a big UGF. The Japanese Blue Star Endlers suit the scape well.
The only problem with these types of tanks, is the filtration, more suited for show off tanks. Rather get stuck in, scaping, put plants were you want to. Also not a bad price, was expecting it to be more 100 quid, but yeah nice video md
Yes, i know what you mean. But remember, these types of tank are not really aimed at the seasoned aquascaper lol. More of an entry level and i think it does that very well to be fair :)
@@MDFishTanks very true. I tried to scape a bioorb, annoying, ended up making my own plastic tray for the back of it, to put some plants in, and also used the glass cup that stick to the side of a tank, plants loved those lol
After watching your video we have bought one of these for our daughter and are thinking of putting a few guppys in it. It will be room temp, 20°c minimum, with a few live plants. Would you recommend any shrimp or other cleaners to go with them? If so, what, how many and how many fish should I reduce stock by? Thankyou😊
This tank has so much going for it... but so much against it too. Size/ shape/ style / price are all a winner. But it looks like the light cannot be timer controlled and the filtration system looks good on paper.... essentially one giant sponge filter, but I would need either an in depth description or to see one of these cut in half to be convinced the water flow works how they say it should =/
It's a cool looking tank but I think it needs someone who knows what they are doing to make it successful (like yourself). Sadly though, these types of tanks tend to attract newbies because they look so simple to maintain, when in fact, it's the complete opposite!
Hi! I liked your video about that aquarium. I bought it for my betta fish, who is living in a aquarium bowl since 2 years now, but I wanted change his home 😇 but when I moved him, he was not acting pretty good so he is returned to his old bowl. Why it didn't worked it? Thanks from France!
Thanks for video. We're new to fish and this is our first tank. We're starting from scratch and the manual states a 3-4 week cycle time...what is this for?
Do you think this is a viable tank for sea monkeys? Assuming the filter is never turned on, would the water sitting in the hidden casing at the bottom and side just go stagnant or could you block it off with a special silicon? Or something lol
Those endlers fit in perfectly with the scape, looks very simple yet shiny due to the fish. Your merch just arrived today, the sweatshirt is very comfortable and warm (The winter can come!), I wonder how durable the logo is, don't want it to wash out after a few times. It came earlier than expected (delivery between nov 20th-27th), so nice! I hope shed 2.0 will be worth it! Lol.
Thanks a lot for buy mate. Yeah I'm not sure about the logo. Time will tell but I think the technology has moved on a bit since back along when it all peeled off after 2 washes 🤣

love the aquaskape of this tank, but i think the tank is small for these fish, i think this tank is better for shrimps and betta, would be nice if you by a new betta, may you can call him blue beard
I like the way MD interacts with his kids. Very natural and also the fact his wife said to place the new tank on the kitchen bench. Doesn't matter why she said it she's very supportive of his obsessive hobbie.🤔❤
Some cherry shrimp to contrast the blue endlers would look pretty cool in there, however i read somewhere that riccia “eats” smaller shrimps and such but idk if that is true.

well i have lots of plants growing very well with no filter or zero circulation...so i would say it's not that important in my setups but then maybe it is with different water parameters?
