How expensive is a small saltwater aquarium with just live stone a shrimp and a fish? When you have to buy everything new. Just in Ponds I will convert it in Euros.
There's a lot of variables but you're looking at about 1000$. If it's your first saltwater tank, I wouldn't go too small. Small tanks aren't forgiving.
Question: How do you keep your ramshorns from taking over? I added two not realizing how fast they would multiply, and now I have at least 200 😳 and more clutches of eggs appearing on every plant leaf. People say not to over feed, but how do you ensure your shrimplets have enough food, considering I have to accomodate the amount of food that the ramshorns and ostracods are consuming. Yes I also have a big ostracod aka seed shrimp problem, they have taken over, despite my attempts of trying several species of fish added to eat them. None were interested in eating the little buggers, all I achieved was scaring my cherry shrimp.
Great kit i setup and iwagumi style shrimp tank and bred tonnes of orange shrimp which have now been donated to a bigger aquarium then am tearing down the build and trying to create a simple Betta cube next
Amazing shrimp scape! I created my own similar version of this, but from my different pieces, I have a sponge filter and a bubbler instead of a full filter. But got the dragon stone and pebbles, I do have some wood to one side as my tank is shorter but wider. Got marimo moss balls in with mine and Java moss and ferns. They adore the dragon stone, and love hiding in all the little caves. Started with around 10 shrimp, now probably have 200 😂 need to sell a few! Oh I do also have salvinia floating, they love hanging in the roots - that stuff grows like a weed!
That's so funny! I actually just yesterday finished setting up a little 14L tank with curved front glass for my shrimp and bumblebee gobies, and I even scaped it with dragonstone as well because it was the first time I had that! 😄 This one looks really nice too, I really like these kinds of kits, although I have to admit I'm not a fan of lid-less tanks, but that's more personal preference. 😉
I wonder if they'll ever be available in the US one day. Is there anything remotely similar to this kind of pre packaged setup that people could get in the US?
I have a 6-gallon cube clear tank perfect for shrimp. I want to do the blue velvet shrimp with a beautiful landscape as you do. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. xo
Hi Md my dumb old self took out alot of my dads plants i tried growing them i failed and no i have barley any plants what can i do i am trying to scape my 5 gallon tank i want a dutch style or somthing natrual like your style.
Id love to hear more about what the long term care for this kind of tank would be like Thanks for sharing! Im definitely inspired to build something like this for myself
That's the idea. Some tanks I go all out, and others I create so someone new (the type that might be interested in this affordable kit) can say "I can do that" and will have a go 👍

Cute little tank. I like the rocks in it.
What kind of shrimp food / pellets does everyone recommend??
How do you keep the plants anchored to the sand bed? Some fish will dig them up
I love this. Can you put a list of the plants you used in the comments, please?
Mate, every time you publish a new Vídeo, you leave me wondering:
- how can you find the TIME to be a full-time Aquascaper, and still rehearse and Play as COLDPLAY’s drummer…? 😳😱🤩😍
AMAZING ✊🏼🤟🏼
Any know a kit similar to this that can be purchased in the US?
I like "liter'meter" lmao 🤣
Would you at all sell your plants? If the delivery was to the uk
How does one begin cleaning a tank such as this? Genuine question :D
No MD not pearl weed.25cm tank pearl weed is stupid?
He won't keep it set up like this for long
Here's some science: all those letters on the nutrient layer bag are elements that are required for life. All of those chemicals are also in you and me, in our pets and the food we eat.
Would a betta be ok in this if you installed a heater?
I love your videos! So thank you for these.
I’m loving the colourful stones you use in this video & another I watched. What are they called, please, & do you know where I can get some? ( I’m in the UK)

A perfect little gem of a scape. Absolutely gorgeous!
🦐 🌱 = 👍
Can those plants manage without CO2?
سلام اسم خاکها که استفاده کردید را بگید
Could you get a tank like this with a lid (I have cats)
hows the water parameters, do u adjust the tds forthe shrimp ?
MD, I see the filter came with activated carbon. Do you use activated carbon or purigen on your tanks? I wish we had superfish in the US!
can i grow monte carlo in sand?
i have good light and Co2
I have all my caridinia shrimp in 4 different blackwater tanks..They flourish very well.
Great kit i setup and iwagumi style shrimp tank and bred tonnes of orange shrimp which have now been donated to a bigger aquarium then am tearing down the build and trying to create a simple Betta cube next
대단합니다 ~~ 미모가 좋으시네요 !!
yessss shrimpppppp!!!
I'm rewatching Game of thrones right now. Dragonstone like the island! You should totally do a scape of Dragonstone in Dragonston🤯
Those little rocks look like potatoes
Love this, was looking for ideas to scape my 20gallon long. Im using thos idea. Thank you
I wish they'd sell these exact kits in the US. Because the states suck at making aquarium kits ( except fluval spec )
4:20 thats with the co2.. yes but its a to little amount
Do you build and sell these tanks online?
How do you treat your algae problems
Vader says; I find your lack of chemistry knowledge disturbing
Id love to hear more about what the long term care for this kind of tank would be like
Thanks for sharing! Im definitely inspired to build something like this for myself
I feel like this is far below your usual quality. Not knocking your talent but this one seems average.
That's the idea. Some tanks I go all out, and others I create so someone new (the type that might be interested in this affordable kit) can say "I can do that" and will have a go 👍
