Jarred, I just saw your video. Being let go from a job is all too common. It happened to me 23 years ago, as I was "too old" and too well paid not to be replaced by someone in their 20s. I was able to eventually earn a full time government job, which I retired from several years ago with a pension and benefits.
Good luck with your UA-cam videos, but it may help to find some type of part-time job just to help with expenses.

A great book is “what color is your parachute” (a career changers / job hunting guide) - the book is very encouraging about finding the a job you want - but remember “you can be fired for any reason or no reason whatsoever “

Hope I am wrong but suspect I am going to be laid off/fired/termed this week on Tuesday. Hopefully I'm wrong. Employers don't give a s*!t, yet they want two weeks. WTF?
Oh my God, I’m so sorry!!! I’m hoping the best for your situation!! And you’re right - I genuinely don’t think they care. That’s why more & more people are starting to just work for themselves! It makes so much more sense, than busting your tail, working as hard as possible, only for your employer to reap the benefits & you get absolutely nothing in return for it. And then you get ready to leave & they expect you to give them a crazy long lead-time when they don’t do the same when you’re fired??! It’s a joke dude. The whole thing is a joke.

i got fired after 6 years of climbing the corporate ladder and was baker acted on a saturday an hour before i was supposed to be off work and was fired on monday...... and this was the end of October 2019, and a couple months later we were in covid lockdown..... i spiraled and started drinking a lot and my girlfirend of 10+ years left me.... things will get better

Hey there! Yes, church. Most larger churches have a budget to hire professional personnel for audio, video & lighting purposes. It’s a better route than solely relying on volunteers - namely because people who are paid are incentivized to ensure everything goes off without a hitch & is distraction-free. It also ensures that when something DOES go wrong (like a mic ringing, or the livestream crashes), there’s someone with knowledge in place to fix it quickly, so both the in-person & online congregation can continue participating👌
