- Mass anticorruption protests erupted this week in Chisinau, with demonstrators demanding the president's resignation. In the weeks leading up to the unrest, correspondents of RFE/RL's Moldovan Service had traveled around the country to assess public opinion and investigate the day-to-day challenges of ordinary citizens. Their reporting yielded powerful responses that explain the anger and frustration driving the protests in the capital.
My Fathers family is from Moldova and this is heart breaking.
I'm not shocked to see this cause i'm from Moldova and i see this everyday. Me and my family live in Italy now cause it's too hard to work there.

Been in Chisinau and some small city with i dont remember the name of a couple of years ago on a road trip. I felt the people very friendly and calm. Also very helpful when our car had problems. Wish the best for your country and hoping for change. Peace from Sweden ✌️

shoot em any way . they mental ill sick people. usa has same problem .. small country . easy to fix . run people and copy old state constitutions like from patrick henry virgina and jefeson from kentucky .. old ny state constitutions .. but be like separate counties as countries from each other .. then you make it so no goverenmtn . can't make any laws . simple straight forward system / open courts no blocking .. educate to use simple courts .... base it of natural law . religuis exemption is from natural law. easy to do .. transparent system based on volunteer donations .... poor people can get rich . no taxes but fund raisers . fund raiser charity share care . people get old they donate when they die and rich .. free health care and community projects ,.. less is more .. i may move there . haha.. copy the best in world history and improve. use a country for defense . neutral . have a militia which is all the people. in time buy or build defense systems and rocket launchers .. decent guns for every one .. live in peace . do no harm ..

in Moldova the Romanian language is spoken which comes from the old Latin language and is related to Italian, French, Spanish

If Moldovans are not happy with their pensions currently 40 USD/month average , wages currently 150-200 USD/month average then they need to learn capitalism, libertarianism and give vote who can supply them. Moldova is similar like Kyrgizistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia in terms of wages and pensions.

Well don't they study Engineering, Medicine, Science or Business in Moldova?There are many ways they can make/earn money. They can set up knowledge based service industries, with little investment. All one requires is software and soft skills.One needn't have to sell melons or work as a maid for a living.
They do and it's not to say they don't have good specialists coming out of universities on those matters. It's just that the amount of corruption that stands in your way if you want to be somebody, just to later on have a salary that barely sustains you and your family's basic needs deters people away to other countries that provide better social protection and opportunities.
