You are a very appreciative guest. You did not look down on the country and the people. Eastern Europeans are very nice people. Very simple and natural. My visit to Constanta in Romania 2012 was awesome. My eldest son graduated that year from medical school. I have a Romanian daughter in-law and a Romanian grandson. I am a Nigerian.
I love how you've made so many videos about Pridnestrovie... I had the pleasure to visit recently and your observations are spot on with what I experienced
A great video Justin! The food in Central and Eastern Europe is amazing, I usually gain 10Kg in weight when I visit! I really look forward to meeting you one day if our travels coincide. 🍻🍻
Tanks You always make my day when watching your videos. 🙏 We are going soon to Balkan but sometimes maybe change and go Moldova instead. Again thanks very much for your videos Tommy from Sweden
Holy macaroni! 30 rubles for a glass of vine.. that is a nice prize. Here in Norway a glass of vine would cost at least the same as 575 rubles.. (and a glass of beer cost about the same)
It's like a functioning USSR, how it was meant to be. Nice to see happy People prevail and a public holiday. May it stay in peace. The worry now is its all going to be forced into the conflict with Ukraine.
Hey hope I can still catch you with this question: how do you find the courage to not care what people think about you while you're filming? I am going to Moldova next week and would like to make some new friends there but I am actually a bit scared to talk to strangers as I get nervous
Just be friendly bro. Smile, be polite, say hello. I've travelled all over Central/Eastern Europe and that approach has always worked. Just be friendly, respect that you're in someone else's country, almost all the people I et were super friendly, but don't be a smartass, or you'll get in trouble, fast.
I might have missed it, but I still don't know when this Bender festival is. Can't find out on the internet either, and tourism board from Moldova didn't respond to my email. Would like to visit, though. Anyone got an idea about the date?
@@J.E.E Hi Justin, thanks for your reply. I wrote to the Moldovian tourism board (Moldova.travel), but didn't get an answer. Anyway I will be there a few days from September 7, so well before the festival. Maybe next year I will be somewhere near to check it out 🙂. Thanks again, like your videos a lot!
Not the smartest commentator! oh well, nice to see Transnistria and the host is amicable enough. There's a political speech and he just veers off and learns nothing. A pleasant, and respectful if superficial video, thanks for going there!
@@J.E.E yes I watch and comment to help you to increase your Chanel . I just I have only 24 hours to visit that right ? By the way theirs University stadium or the life in boring .

I have just discovered your channel. I am from Spain and I have dated some girls from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, my ex-wife is Russian, and now that it has become very difficult to travel to Russia and not advisable to travel to Ukraine, I am thinking about continuing my former-soviet dating adventures travelling to Riga, so your channel seems very interesting. Unfortunately, I don't think, as you say on this video, that there are a lot more women than men in any Eastern Europe countries (with the exception maybe Ukraine if they fight "to the last man" as their president has promised), but what happens, in my opinion, is that former-soviet women love to go for a walk, while former-soviet men are not so outgoing, and they spend more time in gyms, or bars, or home....that is why you see many more girls walking in the streets of Russia, Latvia, etc. than men.. unlike Spain, Italy, where men are as outgoing as women or more. Transnistria and MOldova are maybe an exception, as you say, because being the 2 poorest countries in Europe after Ukraine, there has probably been a mass immigration of their men to the West, but I think that even in Lativa there are not more than 10 - 20 % more women than men, unfortunately... there is not any rational reason that makes me expect a big difference... there has never been a mass immigration of Russian or Latvian men for example to the west...even after Russian mobilisation last year, not more than 100,000 men moved away permanently from Russia.. that is not even 1 % of the total of young Russian men...and even if 400,000 Russian me died in the Ukraine war.. that would not be more than 4 % of all young Russian men....and being a big user of dating sites, I have written and communicated with thousands of former soviet women on dating sites, and even being a goodlooking guy as I am and having a house with pool in one of the best parts of the Spanish coast, near Barcelona, it has always been very difficult to find girlfriends in these countries, you have to write to lots of them, more than one thousand, to find one who is ready to come to the west to live with a Western guy like me. And since covid and specially war in Ukraine started, I don't even try to find a girl from these countries who comes to live to the West, now it is me who is thinking about spending a part of the year in these countries, which I have never done so far, I have only visited some of them as a tourist, for not more than 1 week.
I went in Transnistria twice for one day from Moldova where my wife come from. It is a nice quiet , clean place. And this is true that womens there are beautiful.@@J.E.E
