I like what XRoadStarX said. I would also like to add the lower engine mount on this car has soft bushings so it allows the engine more travel under power for a smoother shift and ride. Get the sixth element lower engine mount and all that wheel hope goes away from what a lot of guys say👍🏻 I already have mine on order. I chose that one specifically because of the modifications they have made to eliminate the small vibrations you get from using a stiffer engine mount.
and launching, you wanna minimize wheel spin by dropping your clutch at 2k and gradually give more gas till the top of 1st, power shift into 2nd and WOT from there
yes its worth it because my veloster heat soaked on the track , i was on 24 pounds of boost , tuned. the stock cooler is shit! i ordered mine thanks to you btw
How long did it take you to do the boost gauge??.. like am hour?

How long did it take you to get the intercooler? I'm waiting like 4 months now from 845 directly and still no firm date of shipping/delivery
So did you tune it? What was the result??
FWD are the most technical to launch btw so that's why you having difficulty, not to mention how hard it is on your drivetrain

Josean I highly doubt that. If you really did, you’d blow your engine.
ive been on 24psi boost for about 6 months ever things fine dont know why its highly doubted

Yeah it's a grate mod I put it on my car it definitely makes a difference with takeoff and the overall feel of the car !

i launch my veloster at 3000 rmps and i turn traction control off and i get perfect launches every time but all i have is a TurboX blow off valve.
I have a Veloster turbo my goal is 300hp I already have a injen intake what should be next step
austin harris Tggtf To get 300whp, you're going to have to at least have new head studs. Depending on your year you may need new rods and pistons. You will also need a upgraded turbo, plugs, oil catch cans (I advice you to get these ASAP, these should be your next mod. They were mine after an Injen intake. For 300whp it would be best to have at least a high flow downpipe and exhaust. 60mm throttle body from an Elantra will help some. Meth injection can help with ambiant air temps. And a front Mount intercooler, unless you don't want that and want to go with the one from XENON element which is an upgraded stock IC.

Did you do some mods?? I have a 2015 Veloster turbo and this is exactly where I am at. I have a Injen cold air intake, and a nice exhaust but I am thinking what to do next.... Im between intercooler but its expensive or just go in to a small tune just to see where it is at

Factory comes with 201 hp with the street tune i got 260 hp. I love it bro
Fuck yeah, some good power there. I want to go full bolt on, bunch of small performance upgrades like bigger throttle body,, and full suspension upgrade before I do a tune, and possible shoot 50/50 water meth. But that's way down the road. Slowly but it's coming along, what are your mods?
