Thanks for the video- when you like a particular sound and want to reuse each night, does it keep on the same sound or do you have to find the sound and go through each option again? Do you know of any sound machines with an 8 hr timer?
I have had the same one you have for a year now: it sits not too close to my space heater. About 7:33pm eastern time it shut off by itself. Instructions I can’t read due my bad eyesight. The machine shows no physical damage. I am clueless on what to do
Hi, where did you buy it? Mine came with a 12 month warranty, but I know on Amazon UK they are currently offering a 18 month warranty, so you may be able to get a replacement?
@@nosleeplessnights1 I’m 49 & feel completely idiotic. My power strip fell to the floor after numerous jumps into bed by my cat E T. A family member bought it for me over a year ago. She brought it all the way from my hometown to where I currently live. As I always say, your brain cells disappear after high school. Everything medically and the sound machine unplugged during the drop of the power strip. My space heater was last to turn off by itself. So, after I commented I fixed it.
That's an impossible question to answer really. I don't believe any one track/sound is the 'ultimate' one to help people sleep. I think it's a combination of three things: 1. Which track you personally find relaxing. Some people love brown noise, others hate it and prefer a train sound or fan, for example. 2. Which track blocks out any particular noise coming from outside your bedroom, if that's what you need it to do (this may require some experimenting). 3. Which tracks actually sound good through a device's speaker. For example, thunder can sound bad on some cheap speakers. Basically, it's all about personal preference and experimentation!
Your Review is the BEST ! Just received mine.... I thought the cable cord with USB would actually CHARGE the machine ?? The machine works great when plugged in but does not work when cable is removed. I thought the 1-4 hours was playing time without being plugged in ??
Thanks - I'm glad you liked the review. I can see why you thought that, but this one doesn't have an internal battery so it will only work when plugged in. The 1-4 hours are for the auto-off timer.
Would be nice to know what the name of that "Piano" song is. I listen to it every night (or morning), whenever I go to the bedchamber, for about 4 hours or until I fall asleep. Whichever comes first.
I always list the tracks exactly how the instruction manual lists them. I don't know what the name of the song is. If anyone else does who reads this comment, please let us know:-)
Barrel jack connector / coaxial power connector on one end, USB on the other. You can get multi ones with different diameters online. If you don't want to do that, let me know and I'll dig mine out of the cupboard and see if I can measure it - though even that might be hard to do using a normal ruler!
No worries! I just saw your comment and thought the name is a bit misleading. It sounds more like what the machine does rather than an actual product name.
No. Even if all their devices are 'good' in my opinion, they might not all be good for every person's needs. I think the choice of white noise machine is quite personal.
I have this machine and was wanting to get the list of sounds in order. Thank you including that in your video.
You're welcome!
I laughed at the train one...we live directly opposite a train track so no need for a machine for that one lol. Some of the others are nice though.
It's not my favorite either! I'm sure there are some people out there who it works well for - just not me or you...

Yes it does remember the last track, as long as it remains plugged in. There are several with 8 hour timers, such as the LectroFans for example.

The important thing is that it's working again:-) we all have these kind of moments - don't stress about it!
Which sound-type is most helpful for trying to get to sleep with?

Piano
rain for me.. does it ever single time!
Deep and low meditation sounds work for me. I haven't seen(heard) one since the 90s.
Can you describe it in more detail?
i am looking at this one right now....

thank you so much! im gonna go with the first option@@nosleeplessnights1
No worries. I hope you get it working again.
I bought 2 of this, and the rain sounded more like static. I don’t use the sound , just the light.
Thank you!...
You're very welcome:-)
What’s this one called?
Nevermind I just realised it says in the title 🤦♀️ sorry 😂
