A lot of people talk about a baking soda test to determine if your stomach acid is too low. Basically, first thing in the morning, before you eat anything, mix a 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking soda in 8 ounces of water and drink it. Then if you don't burp within 5 minutes, it means you probably have low stomach acid. I tried it this morning and I never did burp! So that's not looking good for me. ☹️ What's your thoughts on this test?

Can you suggest a type of doctor? 5 months ago I had serious anti-biotics and a few medications. I don't take those meds anymore but I have serious health issues. Flinches that make sleep impossible every other day and muscle twitches out of control. I have been eating super basic healthy food and no sugar, oils, or processed foods. Taking spore forming pro-biotics. A hair analysis report says i have heavy metals and my potassium is at 60! magnesium and sodium are too high as well. I can send you the report. I have no idea what kind of specialist I should see. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

*question* This has to do with a smell.
My stomach has a weird smell, I can't describe it .
I know it's coming from the stomach. The other weirdest thing, let's say , A/C is on, I'll smell it , and it smells just like the odor from my stomach. I have never had this before.
I asked my spouse if he could smell it, and he said no.
My spouse thinks it my nose .
I guess I'm the only person who can smell it. I just want to figure out what the issue, and fix it .

doctors and including "ER" . I am mostly waiting for my appointment, it's all a process. Last week I found a blog, where people has had
the same smell and mentioned what they did, but they never explained why it's happening. I noticed people doesn't look for the Root Cause.
If I'm not at a doctor etc , I am on here looking to solve the health issues.
It's something 3 1/2 years ago, when some things happened, in the last several months.
I read if you had your gall bladder taken out, you could end up having stomach issues, I don't know, if this is true or not .
I know a couple of family member had their gall bladder taken out, but they never talk about health, they are pretty private.
If you tell your health issues, others will look at you as a problem ( lol ) instead of helping and talk about it .
