    When you come to a corner, raise your chisel so it is perpendicular to the part and then scribe the next line. This will stop the panel line corners from getting rounded like yours ended up.

    A guitar pick is a great part separator. Durable, thin, doesn’t scratch, and as cheap as it gets.

      I saw a gunpla tip video mentioning that. But now, I got a proper parts separator 😅

    Need some input please. I am starting to get more into scribing my kits and I have good equipment. Dspiae Push Broach with clamp handle. The issue I am having is that after scribing the lines look chewed up and choppy as hell. All the scribes are within the line and follow the pattern perfectly, however, the lines are looking really uneven especially along the edges.. I don't know if maybe I am using a broach that is too thick or too thin. Maybe all the inconsistency will go away after priming but I can keep getting these results and continuing. Any help is greatly appreciated?????

    • @TheMobileSuitHangar
      @TheMobileSuitHangar  3 роки тому

      I have not used the DSPIAE push broach or anything like that so I could give a fair assessment :/
      One thing I've learned from practicing more parts to scribe is that you really have to start with really light strokes. Even at least 20 light strokes. It's going to be enough for you to at least help whatever you're using to scirbe to really get locked into the scribing pattern.
      I hope I'm making sense 😅

    • @TheMobileSuitHangar

    So when you scribe do you put the tape over the line or do you put the edge of tape by the line? Also once the tape is place do you scribe over the tape or on the edge of the tape?

    • @TheMobileSuitHangar

      Hmmm... Well, I lay the scribing tapes one at a time and they don't overlap.
