After years of waiting, I finally saw The Batman, and it blew me away. I found something about the Batmobile so fascinating and in this video I try to explain what I felt upon my first viewing and why it mattered so much to me. I love this movie and I'm so grateful it exists. I hope you enjoy.

Even filmmakers that plan down to the minutiae cannot always convey every point they want to make into every scene. Most often because of practical limitations yet those points exist in their subconscious and it is up to observant viewers to pick up on these hidden meanings. I think this is one of those cases. “So much about The Batman is what you don’t see”, in retrospect, this movie is a great big canvas of mood and atmosphere that encourages the viewers to complete the composition with their own thoughtful interpretations and your analysis cements that idea. The Batman is a rich storytelling because it embraces our own contributions and I love it more for that.
I love this comment so much, you’re absolutely right.
I found many stylistic comparisons between the Batmobile introduction and the Interceptor introduction in the first Mad Max.
Not only are the vehicles similar in look, they display a visceral, deafening noise that represents intimidation and are directly tied to the mythos and identity of the character.
great vid spaceman! loved this opening
Fascinating breakdown of Batman's complex character and his impact on pop culture. Great job explaining his moral dilemmas and iconic moments!
Spaceman back at it! I loved every inch of The Batman, becoming my favorite iteration of the character. The internal tension was palpable and far more gripping then any external conflict.
Amazing video
I'm truly impressed by your video essays

Thank you for the kind words!
Great job!
Well made video!
Underrated
Really loved your analysis of this batman and the balance he is looking for. I will say though that it feels rushed in delivery. Some moments of pause could really make this feel more impactful and by the time I can digest one statement you had already moved onto another. Looking forward to whatever you have next in store
Will definitely take this into consideration, thank you for the advice!!!
