Thanks for the video. I just finished my Invisalign treatment and am going to whiten my teeth prior to having some bonding done. My doc gave me 15% opalesence gel. I’ll be using my retainer trays. Does that all sound like a good plan. My retainers looks a bit firmer than what you used in the demo

Great question. I often suggest to patients that they can use their Invisalign aligners or retainers as whitening trays. They do not have the exact same properties as a softer whitening tray but they will get the job done very well. 15% opalescence works well. It is a bit lower on the concentration of carbamide peroxide so you can wear it a bit longer or more days. I would follow what your dentist's recommendations and instructions are. Each whitening case is individual due to ones needs and desired outcome. Hope this helps!

I have texture cycling. I've been using a product that my dentist has me using Kor it has 17% carbonmine peroxide I wear it overnight after 6 weeks My teeth locked a lot better but not as good as I would have liked. I'd imagine the 22% that the product you're speaking of has may have got me where I wanted to be. Did you know anything about kore?

Great question, I happen to strongly recommend Kor whitening for tetracycline staining in particular, they should be following the Kor recommended guideline of treatment for tetracycline. There should be an in office whitening visit followed by 6-8 weeks of at home whitening and then another in office visit. That is how Kor recommends treatment. Don't look entirely at the percentage of peroxide, I recommend the 22% when followed by my instructions. It does not mean that a lesser percent strength with different directions would not be effective.

How many days straight should you use them for? Because it comes with 3 Syringes.

Good question. For an initial treatment or immediately after in-office Zoom, we recommended using 5-7 days. Each of the NightWhite syringes has little number markings on the back of them. Each number should correspond to one day usage for both top and bottom. The other two syringes you should store in the fridge so that they can be used later for maintenance whitening. Talk to your Dr. Boyd about what the best maintenance period is for you. I hope this helps!

What about food? My dentist instructed me to do these every night for 8 days for approximately 6 to 10 hours and not have any coffee or tea for two weeks but I did some research and I’m afraid to eat other foods that could “ stain “ my teeth and not give me the best result. What do I eat for 8 days??

Great question. There are a lot of foods you can still eat. Think of things you wouldn't want to get on white linen. Beets, berries, red wine, etc. This isn't to say your teeth will stain the color of the foods! The whitening is just slightly less effective. For liquids, you can have them through a straw to bypass your front teeth. I hope that helped!

If I did not drink any coffee or thee but I ate not "white food" will it causes damage to my teeth/enamel of just make whitening less effective?
Does it matter which toothpaste and brush to use after whitening?
