- Finally decided I would just get a boost tap to run my NewSouthPerformance boost gauge on my 2012 Volkswagen Golf R. Step by step walk-through of the install, very straight forward and easy to do with minimal tools.

love the boost gauge looks clean, with the blue needle.
i really like that boost gauge, really suits the car with the blue needle.
Great video man!!
Thanks for this info, just installed a IS38 Turbo on my MK7, and the performance in Boost is exact to yours.
That's fantastic!
Great information on this video👌
great info
Nice video! It's fine to be wrong, we all start from somewhere
Wrong about what?
@@Mrdekker16 Literally, i dont think you were wrong about anything LMAO
Lol 🤷♂️
Where did u get the adapter from
I just installed this gauge in my 2017 R and my boost gauge light is always on, whether or not my dash lights are on. Is that how it’s supposed to work? I thought the light shouldn’t come on unless my other gauge lights are on.
The needle should light up still, but when you turn the lights on, the brightness should be affected by the dimmer
Beauty and the Beasts awesome, I hooked it up correctly. Thanks for your help!
Anytime!
Hi
Where can I buy the adapter the you used on the engine to connect the pipe?
I purchased the adapter from amazon.ca
Thanks bro!
Hey bro, do you have the a link for the boost gauche?
Most part retailers should be able to get it no problem, or most aftermarket part sites. New South Performance is the brand though.
Hi bro can i ask u something? What cable color put on the lights switch? My gauge light not working
I went yellow to gray (#10). Head to 5:35 in the video where I show you 😊
@@Mrdekker16 do u have an instagram? I wanna ask u again bro about the gauge
Yes, it's @mr_dekker
Can you share the link of the Boost Tap you got?
Certainly.

Did you install the “NoBuzz” T?
What is that? Never heard of it.
How did you get the gauge to sit in the hole without it moving around?
Mike Gillis it’s a VentPod that comes with the gauge kit
The gauge is the correct size for the pod so it slides in snug and holds it perfect.
Well the lights be same as mk5 golf to install the booster gauge cheers
I believe so yes. Same style switch.
@@Mrdekker16 hi ny booster gauge only got black and yellow wire on
And the vent with the whole?
The vent pod can be purchased from most VW aftermarket retailers. Urotuning or Blackforest Industries are good places.
