- In this video we spent an afternoon installing a pair of Siebon carbon fiber fenders on Kyle's Volkswagen Golf R! The quality of these fenders are quite impressive and they fit like OEM factory ones! He doesn't have to worry about rubbing anymore as these give him exactly the clearance he needed!

What kind of wheel setup makes the wheels sit flush with the wide fenders, I'm thinking about buying the same fenders and new rims all around?

Wish you could've been more I'm depth, but no issue, say, is there a bolt at the top of the fender under the windshield trim because the mk7 GTI has it and I can't find any close up videos , my mk6 seibon fenders are ordered and will be shipping within 2 months and I wanna know before i start pulling it all apart.

I don't have a photo on me, but if you check out around 1:45 where Kyle is showing the fenders, you can see the location of the bolt near the top. Not sure how to send a message but ask away!
How was the fitment against the door and how much farther out from the original sender does it stick if any
Fitment is great! Didn't measure but I think roughly an inch and a half.
What wheel specs are you running? I want my front wheels to be like yours on my R
Not entirely sure to be honest. I think +45 with a 15mm spacer to clear the bbk

Where did u get the fenders from?
We got them off Facebook Marketplace, but they are just vented seibon carbon fibre fenders. Available at a lot of online retailers.
Some people have said the difference is much wider than advertised with these fenders. Did you find that to be true? also any issues with rubbing after the install? did you have to cut the fender liners or remove them completely? I just went to 245 from 235 and I'm rubbing like crazy now. Not sure if i'll give these a try or maybe the srs-tec fenders. sorry for the interrogation, there's just very little info on these. Car looks great by the way
We reinstalled the OEM liners , may have to cut when he gets his proper wheel and tire setup, but for now they are ok. It was also just as wide as expected I would say. It's not crazy, it's enough.
if ure just running from 235 to 245, i think u can get away with some fender rolling, i had 245 on all 4 at one point and rolling the fender worked very well and didnt rub at all, now i went back to 235, but running 10mm spacers in the front to clear my TTRS calipers, with the same rolled fender, no rub whatsover.
unfortunate that companys that produce carbon parts usually use two layers of fiberglass before laying one sheet of carbon down
