great video as always. However, I have seen an increase in MPG in my 6.7, whether that be the motor being broke in (80k), or possibly the archoil AR6200. pushing around 17-18 hwy.
I've got an early 99 7.3 7speed. Damn no one can deny all the work they put into that 6.0. Years of experience with that chassis and build gen makes it worth it. That's a stunner of a truck.. it will last a very long time. Nice work guys.
My 04 F350 4x4 SRW SCLB 6.0/6 spd manual is my baby. I got it cheap 6 years ago with 170K miles, and got the basic bulletproofing done. Now with 260K all it really needs is a clutch. I get 18ish hwy in my 2017 6.7, same as my 7.3. It barely uses any DEF and regens are unnoticeable. I know a handful of people with 6.7 work trucks. Railroad, foreman, etc. All have over 250k miles. A few have over 11,000 hours and over 5,000 idle hours. All these trucks still have factory emissions intact and have had no issues. I understand the 6.4 set a bad tone for DPF's but it's a very different story for the 6.7. I loved my 7.3 but it's also nice starting my truck without the exhaust running my wife and kids out of the house.
100% Yeah man, I have a few buddies with well over 150K miles on their 6.7's and no issues whatsoever. I think they got it right for the most part with the 6.7. Do you know what you are talking about? Have you priced one out on Ford's site? A king ranch 250 is at least 70k. Plus taxes and all the fees is 80-90k. I live in Canada and a king ranch is definately that much. Limited is 90k or so before taxes. Go price one out and actually use your head before trying to say these guys don't know what they are talking about.
Jeff Clark he said that’s not the list price. After insurance, plus gap insurance, taxes dealer fees and a whole list of other stuff, the list price is far from what you end up paying. Anyone who has ever bought a new truck or car knows the sticker price isn’t the cost
They both broadcast a shady feeling. They are also grossly exaggerating costs trying to justify the overpriced trucks they are failing to sell... 22 thousand dollars for a 2005 2WD work truck LMAO!
we have to 6.7L trucks. our pickup has had nearly no issues. Our 550 DEF filter clogged and wrecked havoc on the engine. all said and done with new engine and DEF filters plus whatever else failed, cost about 35,000 dollars. we also have an 05 6.0L that just runs and runs, tried and true like a busy hooker. its had its fair share of replacement parts but its my go to truck.

Just give People the facts about the trucks you sell and call it a day. You don’t have to trash every truck that isn’t a 6.0 to try and sell one. That being said why would anybody want to buy a truck that needs $20,000 worth of engine work to make it reliable?
justin jones is your 6.7 stock or deleted? I’ve heard at least with these newer emissions controlled trucks that they actually get decent fuel economy unlike the early ones when the DPF first came out.

Just trying to sell shit! Lol he can come here n drive them anytime he wants! Lol O n my new truck with incentives was 64,000 out the door completely loaded truck! Lol
My truck is stock other than leveling springs. We have a missions testing every year to get our tag renewed in Chattanooga. Deleting is out of the question.
I was scratching my head too. I drove a then new 2015 for about a year and got decent economy. Summer highway I’d get up to 21 mpg empty at 65 mph. My avg would be around 15 mpg including city driving. My modded 6.0l would get you to 23 mph highway and avg of 17 avg. Both stock gear and tires.
There are still companies that will delete and tune your 2017 or newer Powerstroke. It’ll just cost you $8000. My 2016 costed $3000 to delete. Which is going to make the 2016- more sought after.
Keeping my 96 f350 crew. 580k runs like a top. Regular maintained, new injectors and harness. Paid 3 grand for it with 400k. Weighs under 10,000 lbs. no DOT number required. Solid midwest truck found in salted Massachusetts. Spare 100k engine sitting in the backyard.
I have a 2006 Ford F350 dually, I'm going to be selling with my Lance camper. The combined units cost 88 thousand new. I still have the new sticker. I'm asking 45 thousand for the pair or best reasonable offers. Both units have titles. If you buy a lance without a title, then it's on YOU! My 981 Lance slide in camper is FULLY loaded with every possible option. I mean everything including solar panel. My Ford F 350 has 22 thousand miles on it. All documented miles. The camper has been stored in a warehouse for some time but was brought home the last few years. My truck sits in the huge garage I have. The truck was professionally modified with new 5" exhaust and chipped up to get better MPG and an air ride all done to make sure it didn't harm the 6.0. I don't even know how to change the settings on the chipped thing. It was set to haul my camper and I never changed it. Reason for selling, well it's health problems. We bought the units to see the US, my wife got breast cancer, my health turned south and we never went anywhere but my daughters house. After 4 bouts with breast cancer, I don't think we'll see the US via camper. Twice used and that's it! billforgrace@yahoo.com is my e-mail address, this spring it goes up for sale. I will not separate the pair, for you need a need a dually to haul my camper. I get aprox. 18 MPG with the settings I have. Hauls the camper great. I'm in Ga. I get 13 healing the camper. I do not drive hard like Bill. lol, The camper has a slide out, wet bath and never ever was #2 done in the thing. The fully loaded lance camper has a flush kit anyway, convection oven, generator with less than 10 hours. I do start the generator every month or so. I do drive the truck 5 miles to recycle my garage about once a month. I have an offer from the man that does my yard but he doesn't want the camper.
I have a 2011 350 king ranch with 105,000 on it. It is locked up tight from the vacuum pump bolts coming loose. I will never have another 6.7 again. Looking to go back to a 6.0 or a Cummins.
He's bragging about 200k to 300k miles out of his rebuilt 6.0's. Which, to be honest, is great for 6.0. But if a 7.3 failed at 250k, we'd all ask "what happened"?
In illinois we don't do emmisons on diesels period, I've got a couple trust fund friends who have platinum 6.7's with full straight pipes. The shops just wink at ya and say it's for off-road use.
If someone wants to buy a 6.0 powerstroke from u after the restoration stage, will they still be able to add a lift kit on there vehicle, and will ur warranty still be covered?
If the warming alarmist, tree hugging, elitist really wanted clean air, they would stop protecting big oil and allow the market to offer bio-diesel products. If they were serious about burning cleaner and less demand for petroleum, they would stop subsidizing Big Oil.
Problem is unless you have the cash laying around, no bank will finance a 06 for 35k. I know I dont. I have great credit, doesn't matter a bank will laugh you out the door.
Hey bill my dad has an 06 6.0 dually and he keeps having injector issues a couple years back he had 2 go out and had 2 new ones put into it. Well now he has another one out, is there anything that can be done to prevent this? He keeps up with the maintenance on the truck, doesnt drive it hard and the truck is bone stock except for a straight pipe and an egr delete the truck is not tuned. Ive heard that the fass fuel systems help prolong the life of the injectors i just wanna see if you could give some advice on the subject. Thanks
Its like buying a ratchet to use as a hammer. You are going to wreck a new vehicle if you ignore have these vehicles operate. They are not designed to idle or for short trips. The main problem is that the dealerships do not explain this to the customer before purchasing the vehicle.
There’s a hotshot driver who has a 2017 F350 lariat dually who currently has over 500,000 miles on his 6.7 power stroke. He didn’t delete it until 380k. But all that highway driving was the best thing for that truck in regards to emissions control devices.
These are amazing trucks, and beautifully restored. The only problem is most banks won't give loans out for vehicles over 10 years old, we would all love to know is there Banks out there that are willing to loan money for these good trucks and don't discriminate on age of vehicle?
There are some for exotic cars of high value that are old up to 10yrs if you can believe it but its was a non-bank doing it. I doubt they would do it for a f250 due to the age and mileage, they don't care that its "new".
Ford, GM and Ram are getting so damn expensive no one can afford them. I would much rather go to Bill and buy one of his trucks than pay more than i did for my HOUSE and lose 20k right off the lot
RIP bro those 6.0s are super reliable got a cousins uncles cousins sister's husband that owns one with 1 billion miles all original with oil changes every 3780 miles
8:12 The fuel injection is pulsating, when the exhaust valve is open??? To fuel the catalytic converter & particulate filter, they must stay at 900* F. It takes fuel to keep these fired up.
Bill, what is your opinion on the new 1/2 ton diesels that get 30-34 mpg hwy? I do not need the towing capacity of the the 3/4 ton. Do you think the trucks you sell would still be a better option?
Do an entire seminar on current emissions equipment (2020) along with possible outcomes with this stuff later in engine life. Is a 400,000 mile 2020 powerstroke even remotely possible?
Yes if the truck is highway driven or works hard each day. and does not idle excessively. If not it will die a early death and have emissions issues due to always being stuck in regens.
I think the $30,000 includes the trucks cost plus parts and labor for engine, steering and suspension, brakes and other needed repairs. $78,000 plus tax(s) for a new King Ranch pickup truck. Hell for another $100,000 you can buy a “used” ranch style house , of course depending on the houses location.
The only issue I'd have is once I pay you guys $30k for this fine truck, I'm almost in the same boat as if I bought a new truck. KBB says that truck is worth about $15k so I'm immediately upside down. I sunk tons of money in my old 97 F-350 crew cab long utility bed (added a Banks intercooler, Banks billeted torque converter, pilar gauges, total exhaust system, Banks Transcommand, Exhaust brake, Edge tuner, and more). I had that truck for 20 years - and loved it. Nobody cared how much I improved it or what it cost me. They only cared about what ole Mr. Kelly said it was worth. So, the only way I made out on this deal was because I ended up bartering a bunch of concrete and curb work at my house for the truck. In this case, I think I actually made out on the deal. I ended up buying a 2016 F-350 crew cab long bed through Carmax, and I love it. But, here I am now with all this EPA crap.
I've got a 6.7, 2012 fully deleted. Has an excellent tune where it barely smokes under full throttle. It's the first diesel I've ever owned and I am thoroughly impressed with its operation. Oh, and it's at 230k miles and will blow the wheels off if I get on it. I did the delete and got to experience the difference of before and after. Epa had Ford really choke these engines, they wake up when deleted.
I'm thinking about getting rid of my old IDI Club Wagon and I will be looking into getting a 6.0 BIG ol van and I know who I trust to fix it right. I've got some work to do but I think I will be going to hotlanta this coming mid year or if work goes well sooner.

great video as always. However, I have seen an increase in MPG in my 6.7, whether that be the motor being broke in (80k), or possibly the archoil AR6200. pushing around 17-18 hwy.
Thats what i get in mine on highway not towing
I make that mileage with my '02 F350 with a 7.3......
Is it deleted? I heard Archoil was not good for stock 6.7 emissions
Biggest problem I've had is with the rear brakes... always seem to have problems. Shes got some rust, and needs a bed, but that's easy to fix...
Bill, we appreciate the virtues of the 6.0, but would love to see some 6.7 video. Surely there are early 6.7’s that you’ve been working on.
Great Vid! Great Trucks! I still love my '95 7.3 F 350 Dually.
Pascal sounds like he owns the place now. Lol. Bill did you sell him some stock?
..but Bill writes the checks!
I have a hard time understanding what Pascal is saying. Whats with his voice.?
Still driving my 2000 F-250 Lariat 7.3 4X4 W/188,000 miles and it's still running great... Strait pipe exhaust, No EGR Crap on this truck :) And I'm still getting about 18 mpg!
2020 super duty: good
2010 super duty: piece of shit
2000 super duty: great
I get 18ish hwy in my 2017 6.7, same as my 7.3.
Most people that are smart with their cash are going to purchase a truck that is maybe 3 years old to save that depreciation hit. At least that is what I do. I too keep my 7.3 for backup.
They'll take my '02 7.3 6sp outta my cold dead hands.
👍🏼 Late 1999 F250 6speed here. Best damn truck I’ve ever owned.
97 Ford dullay Power Stroke.
Yes sir !
lol, same for my 97 7.3. Paid 16k for a near mint F250HD and with 131k miles. And the engine is solid.
Same! 2000-82,000 miles. Just broke in.
You're exactly right I will keep my 01 7.3 dinosaur
Just the tax and depreciation you need to eat on a new vehicle are enough to make it illogical to buy.
That's a great value of a truck so I'm still partial to the older pickups because there just less complicated
8:51 "It's Atlanta baby you gotta run or get run over" so accurate people drive crazy here😂😂
Man My 1999 7.3 is still running strong it pulls 15k on a daily my skids. She’s programmed w super chips and PM on a regular. Oil. Filters. Fluids you name it. Now my 6.7 is an absolute show poney. It pulls like a hot knife in butter no doubt. But that 7.3 is my lifeline. All I do. Is maintain it. No dumb ass burnouts just from point A to B w a load. there’s no doubt that my 6.7 will go 20 years easy.
New vehicles are loaded with electronics that you'll never need 90% of the time .. All I need is good AC, cruise, windows and central locking and I'm good. I don't need sperm whale mating cycle predictive ride control nonsense
shoominati23 but ride control makes it ride better.
@@FishFind3000 It's a truck.
How do you think them simi trucks from 2006 and older are still running to day. Simplicity is key!!!
shoominati23 Cooled seats are very worth it lol
Meh..I loooove my climate control adjustable pedals n seats backup sensors and camera folding mirrors and comfy seats. Ive got both new and old and drive them long distance frequently. I'll take new any day
It is still very possible to delete a 2019 superduty. I got a buddy that got his deleted no problem without using no name tuners.
of course! new trucks are computers on wheels ... if someone can hack a computer they can tune a new engine
yup you just gotta know the right people
alexander Seledkov exactly somebody will always figure out way!
So your saying you can buy a 2019 or 2020 6.7 and do a delete pipe with no tuning and truck will run just fine with no CEL?????
alexander Seledkov He is totally wrong. Tuning is still available you have to know the right people
Damn I sure love my paid for 7.3 crank her up and head out anywhere and have the good feeling of knowing I'll make it back home no worries
They're buying 6.0 because theyre getting them cheap.Ive seen good looking ones on Facebook for 3,000 dollars.
AMEN BROTHER!!!! Long live the 7.3 - especially the OBS ones!
Bruce Lee were do you live that you can find “good looking” 6.0s for 3 k all day long?
a lot to be said 96 ben paid for sence 98. when it needs something it gets it.
@@jeffanderson7256 if youre willing to put in a trans, headgasket or something like that... yes. come to Ohio. Also, facebook prices are usually 1/2 the price of the same item listed on craigslist.
What's the paint code for those trucks? I'm talking about the Blue 2006 and the 2019 Ford F-250's.
Yup, keeping my early 99 7.3.
Yeeeha. Mee too. Early 99 7.3 standard. Keep er running.
You missed the biggest selling point! For the cost of one truck you can buy a fleet of trucks for the same price lol
Actually he did say that.
powerstroke help will never go out of business
How much for that gold 7.3 next to that 6.0?
Spot on everything you say. Oil is cheap maintenance. Yet so many just don't follow the guidance.
I'll take my 7.3 over either one 789,000 miles still strong
Tell Pascal to get himself a cowboy hat lol
That "new sunroof" can cost you 2500 to 3000 to repair. I have a friend who bought a used 2018 and the sunroof went out in just a few weeks. He had a warranty and it was covered but that is a huge expense...
I've done a few and it's not that bad to do yourself.
@@officialyoutubecommentator4357 Depends on what is wrong with it. Not all of us can do that kind of work or have the tools/time. It's expensive for everyone but you.
I'm a Ford v10 guy, dont want to mess with diesel. After watching your video, I suddenly want a diesel. Excellent sales pitch. Curious, for the 6.0 diesel after it's been rebuilt and tuned, what kind of horsepower and torque numbers are you seeing?
i work in a SMALL!!!! indy shop in NE mt
we also haul gas and propane.... and service what we can in house (ive learned A LOT about semis in my 2 years their)
im glad im not the only one..... "burn more to make less"??
but then our semis have to drive 300 miles to get the fuel..... and then 300 miles back, plus another 70 to get to the end of the "zone of service"
and they make this trip 2 to 5 times a day.... harvest season, farmers are SUCKING down the fuel
do you know how much energy it takes to find, drill, pump, transport, refine, transport to bulk, transport to gas station.... and other steps i missed???
thats a LOT of energy
as soon as the warranty is over.... ALL emission systems disappear
im pretty sure montana's state constitution tells to EPA to fuck off (just like it does on the 2nd amendment.... it STATES its an individual right)
MT has actually said "hey, if you do that, we are no longer a state because of this contract"...... and the media says "CRAZY MONTANA WANTS TO SECEDE FROM UNION!!!
like... im a democrat, and climate change is fucking real
but driving my old 77 chevy 1/2s 400 sbc with full time 4 wheel drive around at 8 to 12 mpg....
still better for the environment than making a WHOLE NEW damn truck
plus, back in the 70s.... labor unions existed, and most of it came from the USA
now its children in sira leon or china or some other "blood diamond" country... as they are the only ones with cheap ore...
I am sooooo glad big daddy Ford come out with that nice simple 7.3 gasser.
7.3 still better then any of the new engines they made so far.
Ford didn’t make the 7.3 fords only motor is the 6.7
18:22 "at the end of the day, you always get whatchu pay for" *missing the upper battery tray/ECU cover* LOL
I love the sound of those 6.0 POWERSTROKE.
Guys, that KR ain't $90.000.00. Stop it. Anyone that pays $90K for that 2019 did something horribly wrong.
90k after fees and taxes? I believe it
Not even a 2020 dually 450 KR gets to 90k close but not quite.
I have a 2000 7.3 and a 2018 6.7. Apples & Oranges. Excellent explanation.
Dude I don’t know where you get the “anyone that tells you a new 6.7 gets good mpg is a liar” but my ‘17 has 132,000 miles and I average 19-20mpg day in and day out and I’m running 295/65 20s.
Yeah I don’t know who he talks too but my 17 350 duelly with dump box averages 15 with 120,000 on it n it’s a crew cab and my 2019 350 crew crew cab lariat sport has 11,000 on it and I’m averaging 18.4 rite now and I’m in the north east cold n snow!
Both stock gear and tires.
justin jones $20,000 to get 300,000 or $90,000 to get 300,000?
There are still companies that will delete and tune your 2017 or newer Powerstroke. It’ll just cost you $8000. My 2016 costed $3000 to delete. Which is going to make the 2016- more sought after.
You bring so much knowledge and value to the general truck platform. Awesome!
How often should you change the oil on the 6.7 if you aren’t towing anything and only occasionally carrying a slide in camper?
I have a 2011 350 king ranch with 105,000 on it. It is locked up tight from the vacuum pump bolts coming loose. I will never have another 6.7 again. Looking to go back to a 6.0 or a Cummins.
He's bragging about 200k to 300k miles out of his rebuilt 6.0's. Which, to be honest, is great for 6.0. But if a 7.3 failed at 250k, we'd all ask "what happened"?
Keep them old diesels on the road! 😎
I hate sun roofs, just a point for water intrusion. Automatic running boards are garbage, and it hurts like hell when they run into your shins.
That Excursion was CLEAN! Holyyyyy!
In illinois we don't do emmisons on diesels period, I've got a couple trust fund friends who have platinum 6.7's with full straight pipes. The shops just wink at ya and say it's for off-road use.
Do u have a website to view ur trucks for sale at any given time ? Thanks
If someone wants to buy a 6.0 powerstroke from u after the restoration stage, will they still be able to add a lift kit on there vehicle, and will ur warranty still be covered?
I have a Deleted 6.0. No studs but not ran hard. Maintain it. Only 60k miles. Starts all the time no issues. Love it also can’t beat sound of a 6.0
My 2003 F250 7.3 just turned over 400,000 still runs like a clock
I'm not sure on mine odometer quit at 337k. That's been a few years ago.
"We're stuck with clean air." -Powerstrokehelp.com
Quote of the year lmao
If the warming alarmist, tree hugging, elitist really wanted clean air, they would stop protecting big oil and allow the market to offer bio-diesel products. If they were serious about burning cleaner and less demand for petroleum, they would stop subsidizing Big Oil.
Problem is unless you have the cash laying around, no bank will finance a 06 for 35k. I know I dont. I have great credit, doesn't matter a bank will laugh you out the door.
Daniel Miller Loans are available.
Business loan... makes perfect sense when the equipment you are buying can make the same money per mile, yet up front cost is 40% less.
The main problem is that the dealerships do not explain this to the customer before purchasing the vehicle.
excursion have metal loops? Hooks? Whatever they are called. Between seat and backrest. For rear facing car seats. Just curious
Ford 7.3 Godzilla.
It's the future for those who tow less than 16,000.
Creig Mac I wouldn’t buy a first generation gas 7.3 let them experiment and see what works and don’t work
Creig Mac as long as it’s got more sack then the 6.2 I think your gonna be correct, much cheaper to own and operate
Bringing back the big block with modern fuel injection. Sign me the fuck up!
Exactly. Gas motors will replace a lot of the diesels unless you're hooked to a trailer daily.
No thanks i will stick with my old school real deal 7.3 ... they might be old news but the aftermarket support is awesome ...
I wish I owned a 6.0 just for the sound of the idle omg . You can’t even hear the 6.7 idle
😂your really trying to sell these IDIs lol!
Love the clatter of the 6.0 when its idling
Ford, GM and Ram are getting so damn expensive no one can afford them. I would much rather go to Bill and buy one of his trucks than pay more than i did for my HOUSE and lose 20k right off the lot

no brainer...older truck completely redone for half the price is the way to go..
Do you have any Canadians buy your trucks?
First, they said they do 20k worth of work then they say 30k......mmmmmm get your story straight and re-add up the figures.
So can you guys ship or drive your rebuilt 6L finished trucks to Calif?.....Can they be registered here?.....Thanks in advance for your reply
The DPF bs is why if I buy new, I am getting a gasser 7.3.
I bought a 2019 with the 6.2 and I love it!
hood luck
Just delete it. *Poof* it no longer exists
@@danstennis1817 ...yeah, you love it now. Get back to us in a few years when that thing's emission controls 'shit the bed!'

I really cracked up when he said “Get one for your wife and daughter.”
It’d be nice if he listed out the trucks for sale on the site so us tire kickers could dream a little more
My 02 7.3 was $50k in 2002 new. My house on 2 acres was $90k in 2004 in Montana. $90k today for a new diesel........nope.
I agree my 01 25,000 in 08 still running strong just turned 261,000 on the 7.3 where abouts in Montana

I'm thinking about getting rid of my old IDI Club Wagon and I will be looking into getting a 6.0 BIG ol van and I know who I trust to fix it right. I've got some work to do but I think I will be going to hotlanta this coming mid year or if work goes well sooner.
How long does the transmission last on the 6.0 trucks?
