- House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4 brought the heat this episode with all sorts of interactions as the characters prepare to avoid war while actively gearing up for it - but one of the most devastating things was the loss of one dragon (and maybe another), which means we need to take stock for those not keeping track at home.
Loved the bond they showed between dragon and rider this episode! Also love how Aegon just taught Sunfyre English instead of learning Valyrian 😂
😂😂😂😂 ! You are right! I love this version of Aegon! He is such a relatable character. He reminds me of a college drop out who doesn’t know what to do with himself.
That's one of my favorite things about the show...you really get to see those little moments where the dragons really do love their riders. The little Sunfyre boop to Aegon!

In the book they started with 18 and by the end had only 2, the marching of the dragon head through Kings Landing is going to backfire for the greens big time
Exactly. The greens thought they were bringing fear to their enemies when in reality they gave the common folk hope that the Dragons and their riders are vulnerable

I find it ironic aegon s dragons sunfyre kinda looks like a young version of rhenyras dragon just a different skull shape . And he’s her younger brother, on the opposite side
Sunfyre wasn’t quite as beautiful as I expected (yet not nearly as disappointing as seeing “the most beautiful man in the kingdom” RHAEGAR 🥴) but seeing Sunfyre’s bond with Aegon and their SCREAMS when they were snatched up by Meleys made me cry and for some crazy reason….made me loved them more.
I hate when they say “the most beautiful…” as it’ll never live up to that on screen. He was also described as a giant chicken and I think that fits perfectly, even has a little comb on top his head.
Bahaha...was Rhaegar as ugly as it seems? Cuz I will say even I went "wait Lyanna risked it all for *this* guy?"
The screams of the dragons hurt my heart. So much. They're CGI animals and I was like NOO!OO!O!O!O!OO!

The entire Dragon battle scene seemed short. I was expecting more from Meleys instead we got something similar to an Eagles' death spiral and a sneaky attack from Vhagar. You're telling me neither Meleys or Rhaenys saw that massive lizard gliding beneath
It’s much, MUCH shorter in the book. Meleys attacks sunfyre and Vhagar falls on them. They hit the ground, Meleys and rhaenys are dead and Sunfyre is hurt.
I thought it was great man! You have to remember this my friend...it isn't a treat if you get too much of it. I think it was wild and fun and I loveeeeee it!

I was just thinking about that scene with Rhaenys at the ship yard where she speaks to Alyn of Hull. I’m wondering if we might see Mouse in the next episode now that Rhaenys is dead and given that Corlys is so focussed on his legacy? I’m curious what she looks like and also what her temperament is (if they’ve cast this role in this series). They seemed to have such a strong marriage so it makes me curious what caused Corlys to stray twice (at least).
I'm super curious myself...I mean there does seem to be a ton of love in that relationship, so how will they introduce that woman/women he cheats with while not hating him simultaneously?

He's around - but I dunno if they're going to actually use Daeron in the show so I left him out. I mentioned Tessarion foe rthis reason but couldn't say Daeron would be part of the package!
I don't think the show will go exactly as per the books tbh.. don't think nettles would be a character, they probably would have Cregan mfn Stark k*ll Crispy douche Cole to appease the fans and viewers, don't think cannibal will make an appearance 😢appearance. Other than that expect Otto will return now that aegon is out
I think they're going to give Nettles' role to either Baela or Rhaena.
Nettles appeared in one of the leaked shoot scenes.
Cregan is not leading the winter wolves. As he said, it will be "Greybeards".
I hope they include Roddy the Ruin with a great casting for him.
Also apparently they cast someone in the role of Silver Denyse. So maybe Cannibal might come...MAYBE. Knowing the show though, they might just have Sheepstealer be the one to off him.
