What’s the benefit to the retired owner to do a lease option in 5 years. You say similar houses are selling for 180k yet they’re willing to sell in 5 years for 150k?? Why would anyone agree to that and not just sell right now?
I don't get it. Paid landlord mortgage £535 rent £900 plus you will have to pay all the bills as well. Where is the profit in it? Someone please explain it to me
There is no profit in it really. The two properties they were banging on about at 170k was 9k profit which a lot of that gets taken up in tax and other outgoings. The fact is these pair had money to begin with,, the lass Katie went to the same school as myself ,she was in the same form group as me, and her parents were well off,, had their own business which she's obviously inherited,, he looks like a well off middle to upper class privately educated bloke,, so they can afford to buy property and sell it on at small profit or rent it. Its not really a success story these pair are genuine property developers,, and they don't make all that much profit from it they've pretty much said as much in this video,, they are just sitting on property they can rent out to give them a pension pot that's it. This Samuel bloke is no millionaire from property 😂,, hes grifting for his course con.😂

Could be many reasons.
House may not be in a state to sell. Could have a difficult tenant that they can't get out.
