This is really good for the price ... maybe if there were 2 birthday candles you could get a couple nights worth of light if you used them very sparingly . The survival blanket and cord on the outside is a very good idea ... it still counts as an altoid survival kit because you could get by with just the inside of the tin , if you're able to make natural shelter or weather permitting
Yes your right for sure you could build a shelter with what’s inside no problem. I always used to strap big stuff to the outside of the tin it saves alot of space in the end 😄
Another cool video. Decent kit, I have noticed that most of the good kits are handmade, a lesson to be learned I think. Love the new view, it gives a good insight to your good self, love the man cave. Peace from Scotland
Haha thanks I made that all myself out of used pallets the whole basement is like that I have corrugated metal on the very left was coming around the room eventually I will do it the entire way around it’s turning out good
@@TheRubenkjyes it’s very close on the directions of most water purification tablets it says add tablet to one quart or liter of water it’s a very similar measurement. There are 3.78 liters in one gallon 4 quarts in one gallon
When I was a kid, before Bic lighters, I has the strike anywhere kitchen matches in my back pocket light. The trash going to the burn barrel occupied both hands, so I was pushing the screen door open with my butt. Painful lesson in matches.
That’s awesome I love hearing stories like this I used to have the garbage chore also I have 5 sisters so I was burning a good few bad quite often 😆 i actually enjoyed using the strike on box matches because it was the only time I could use them
Used with the pull ring the wire saws suck. If you take a green sapling and make a bow saw they work just fine... I've used them to build shelter many times in that way...
I don’t usually write comments on UA-cam videos, but I’ve been watching all your videos since quite a long time ago and I really liked each one of them. I hope you continue adding content and that your channel gets the success it deserves. Congratulations for your hard work!
Thank you i really appreciate hearing that it makes me feel welcomed to make more content for the the most part all the comments are very positive. I appreciate you coming back and watching every video it really helps me out! Thanks again!
Another handmade kit that puts many more expensive kits to shame (looking at you, Rothco). Redundancy in key areas is rare to see in a pocket tin. As an aside, those little Ritter clone knives make great scrapers for ferro rods & will split small chunks of wood (saving your good knife the abuse). I avoid wire saws because they burn calories whether used right or wrong---but where I wander the woods are thick with easily-broken deadwood. Great kit, great review!
That was only $13.99? If so, that's a pretty good deal. That's 5 c's and then some. Like u said though, just take a mini flashlight on your keychain and your golden.
I have more experience with bic they feel like a better built lighter to me. Clipper is still better than some of the generic ones but I feel like the components are made better on a bic
Especially on pocket knife’s right? I guess you can always carry a SAK and add a pocket clip to it. What else is hard about edc there? I’m curious I don’t know too much about the rules of your country

@@whitetailsurvival2430and it has to stay closed without Ranger Bands
New setup! Nice!
A lot of stuff packed in small can.
Yea this one has a lot of stuff in a traditional Altoids style kit with cordage and a space blanket that’s nice!

Fun little kit, one of the better so far.
BTW 32 ounces are basically 1 liter. Have a great weekend.
Yea one liter and one quart are close there are 3.78 liters in a gallon so that’s close enough!
@@whitetailsurvival2430 and 4 quarts are 1 gallon? 1 gallon =4 liters?

Yes the bow saw technique is awesome!
@@Olympic_Survival_and_bushcraft agreed. And cutting from the top of the branch instead of the bottom will make it so that it doesn't snag.
Thanks
No problem

The straw is used to aid in drinking water from the water bags.
That bad boy is flat it will probably work though

That’s how I live also downed trees everywhere and branches
The straw would make it easier to drink out of the ziplock bags.
Yea it’s flat I will have to try it I didn’t know if would drink through or not
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Drinking out of a bag without a straw is very difficult.
Saw a deer gutted with one of those folding plastic handle knives years ago.
It definitely is sharp enough to do that I should try it this year
I like the "man cave" but as an old rodie/sound engineer you need to work on the echo/reverb.
It’s a big room down there so I’m still filling it it up with stuff to change the sounds down there it’s definitely a little hollow

Yea I like to have light it sucks without it but yea it was 13.99 plus the shipping still under 20 bucks there was 1 left
@@whitetailsurvival2430 yeah he was sold out when I checked just fyi
Nice pocket kit, cool.
Yea it was pretty good !
The straw I would imagine to make it easier to drink the water out of the bags without taking a chance of pouring your clean water down your clothes.
Yea that makes sense it is hard to drink out of a bag I was just wondering why it was so smashed I would be curious if it works 😂
@@whitetailsurvival2430 I highly doubt it would make it easy to do with it crunched in but I see no other point in having it in there.
Whitetail Survival, amazing content keep it up dude
Thanks I appreciate that a lot!
Just bought one. He has them in stock again.
That’s great he sold a good few there was 8 or so on there when I bought that one it’s definitely worth the cost
60lb braided fishing line power pro
Seems like good stuff!
What’s better? Bic or clipper?

👍👍😁
😁
Does a plastic straw burn?
It will burn a lot but most people think it’s to drink out of but I think it would be hard to drink out of the flat straw
@whitetailsurvival2430 you could pinch one end and blow hard into the other end .. I'd do it a lot and I think it would work
@@frankyturrizo4240I will try it for sure!

I didn't buy it because I couldn't see what's in it I have 20 years of experience to
