I swim at China Beach. Marc Benihoff (2nd home) bought Helen Ann’s house where you turn to go down the hill. He uses it for his security. There’s lots of empty houses in the neighborhood so if you’re enterprising might find a way to stay in one as house sitter. They’re some boxing 🥊 enthusiast Ukrainians who own homes in the neighborhood as I’ve met them at parties on the beach. Partied with the French speaking Swiss Counsel at his residence and ate delicious croissants 🥐 in his outdoor space. It’s a not so intimidating 😎 place and people, most of them not born in USA 🇺🇸, are passionate about the neighborhood and keeping the beach available to the public unlike the East Coast.
Hi! I just looked up this Russian restaurant because years ago I passed through there along the Russian River and I think that location used to be an Indian restaurant. Anyhow, it says the Russian restaurant is permanently closed.

@@PeterSantenello You will not be able to film the old order Amish. The new order has some degree of acceptance of technology and the men even have the option to leave their community at age 16, I believe. Incredibly hospital but I do not believe they would allow you to bring a camera around them at all; new order may allow it but I expect not. They do not even allow portraits of themselves. Good luck, anyway. You can at least visit them!

@@rexx9496 not everywhere in California is expensive. There are places where property and rents are cheap. It's just the big cities that are expensive. I worked as an X-ray tech/medical assistant out in the desert like 10 years ago, and lived in a little valley just north of palm springs. $15 per hour was enough to pay my $400 rent and bills in a 4 bedroom house with a pool with 2 friends. Total rent was $900 on that house and it had a pool so every night I got off work at 8 (I worked noon-8, it was perfect), and came home to a party with all the people in their 20s in the surrounding areas. It was great. I could have afforded to live there on my own (sometimes I had to pay all the rent and bills because my roommates were electricians who lost their jobs and were on unemployment when I moved in which quickly ran out). I also had a girl who pretty much lived there that I supported too. Anyways Cali is so big that it has every type of climate...mountains, beaches, desert, forests, etc. LA, SF, and SD are expensive to live in, but if you don't wanna live in a city the cost of living goes waaay down while the minimum wage stays the same.
I live in the UK now (for the last 21 years) but I am originally from Guerneville (about 25 miles east on Hwy 116) from there! Havent been back to Sonoma County in over 20 years. I miss it badly! That whole stretch of coast from Bodega up to Timber Cove was my stomping grounds growing up! I have probably fished every beach and cove along that stretch of Highway 1!

Nop notch content! Can't wait for the next episode :)
Would be interesting to see an update on the Ukrainian and Russian flag situation today.
was just thinking about that
peter should swing past again
Hi! I just looked up this Russian restaurant because years ago I passed through there along the Russian River and I think that location used to be an Indian restaurant. Anyhow, it says the Russian restaurant is permanently closed.
God bless USA 😀❤️🤞🖤🇺🇸🇺🇸
California, IMO is one of the best places to live. Has a little of everything for everyone. Such a diverse place with great food, people, nature, activities, etc. etc.
No place like it. Yes we have problems, but every place does.
Show us the Amish community
Good idea.

@@PeterSantenello You will not be able to film the old order Amish. The new order has some degree of acceptance of technology and the men even have the option to leave their community at age 16, I believe. I have been to an old order Amish community house once for dinner with my 8th grade class. Incredibly hospital but I do not believe they would allow you to bring a camera around them at all; new order may allow it but I expect not. They do not even allow portraits of themselves. Good luck, anyway.
You can at least visit them!
@@David-ck3gv Interestinig! Thanks David.
Is there an Amish community in California?
I always wanted to see how San Francisco looks like and I already find it so interesting. Looking forward for more. Love from Malaysia:-)
Cool :) The Next two episodes will be about SF. Love to Malaysia :)
Gražios vietos!
Dude. Been watching your videos for a while now...from Sea Ranch! you finally got here!! love it matey! welcome!
Love the view it's so cool, can't wait for the next video cheers
I love the story about the painting of the bridge! I'm 44 now, when I was very young, my parents divorced, and for a while we were in the San Francisco area. My dad worked for a painter who almost got the contract to paint the bridge. My life would be very different now if that had actually occurred. Grew up in Illinois instead.
And you guys missed the Poland house right next to the ukraine shop 7:53
the best thing here is it reminds me of all of these places which we went and visited alot of times pre covid. We almost got a house in Nevada City but the Covid delayed our plans. Hiway 1, the Tahoe to SF, thanks for bringing back memories, show her Big Sur and the seals!- Bay Area resident
Bravo Peter! Woman must be at least 20 years younger. than her husband. And of course, looks like super model, nice body, blonde hair, virgin.... Bravo brother! It is so nice to see this.
Great video as usual Peter
Thanks Chris!
So beautyful....memories from my visit im March 2022. I want to come back (from Germany)
I took a walk up Marin Headlands in 2006 - fantastic memories.
Thanks Peter, Greetz from Germany
Amazing, you made it to Russian House 1 while they were still open. That place was very interesting; I did some work for them.
Top show Pete -- Come Visit Pert Western Australia when you can
Great quality content
Russia 🇷🇺 best country in the world
I like the way you portrayed the ocean with out the beaches ⛱️
I think you just convinced me to move to Northern California.
Yeah, I've thought about other places to live in the US but despite high taxation and other b.s. it's hard to beat this majestic feel.
I hope you've got lots and lots of money : )
And Peter, I've lived all over the US, and I haven't found anywhere that beats California. I always end up coming back. The positives massively outweigh the BS.
Peter Santenello Yea I understand the high cost of living there. I have just never lived on the west coast before. I think that it would be a great experience to live in California. At least for a few years. Thank you for your videos, they are truly inspirational.
@@MrJonsonville5 Hawaii might beat California on natural beauty, but it's super expensive there too.
You guys are awesome
I live in the UK now (for the last 21 years) but I am originally from Guerneville (about 25 miles east on Hwy 116) from there! Havent been back to Sonoma County in over 20 years. I miss it badly! That whole stretch of coast from Bodega up to Timber Cove was my stomping grounds growing up! I have probably fished every beach and cove along that stretch of Highway 1!
