I think Peter is an incredible conversationalist, and I thoroughly enjoy the way he handles interviews, I just wish you were a little more aggressive in the interview of her use of the word trafficked. I have been involved with charities that internationally try to help trafficked women, and this is not a "trafficked" woman. Trafficked women don't get to "break up" with their traffickers, trafficked women never see their "P***y" as powerful, trafficked women don't get to go "renegade" when they feel like it, they are mostly poor, stolen women, from poorer countries, who, due to the fact they are most likely here illegally, are scared to go to authorities.
I tell it like I think it is, this woman has no right to call herself trafficked imo, and if you listen to her closely, she gave Peter, many times, in her own words, where she tells you she was not the definition of trafficked. When I see her actions, and what she said, I think she is self-describing herself as trafficked for better marketability, and I believe what she did, to label herself as trafficked, is an insult to the real world of trafficked women.

Back in 1994 I worked in South Africa and one night in a bar in Johannesburg I got talking to a prostitute who was turning tricks in the bar. Long story short I paid for an hour with her but all we did was talk and her story was horrible and her parents got murdered in Zimbabwe and she moved to SA to live with a relative. We ended up going out a few times and I'd take her to lunch or out to dinner and I asked her if I could do you want out of this life? She didn't hesitate and said yes! I was lucky because I was working in close protection and I managed to get her a visa to fly home with me back to the UK. She was so so scared but I said give it 6 months and if you want to go back home ill buy the ticket. Fast forward to today and Lisa is married to one of my good friends who knows her past they have 2 beautiful kids and she's a nurse!

@nleem3361 but many of you aren't capable of accepting love anymore. But it's not your fault. You've been brainwashed into believing that you're worthless due to childhood trauma or by bad actors that you've been manipulated by in the past... but at the same time, you overcompensate for this feeling of being truly unlovable and worthless with narcissism and a lack of compassion... it's a cruel cycle.
Once you've been with so many people who use and abuse you for $. You become jaded and lose the ability to actually connect and bond with another person on a pure level. It's all just tricks and hustling until your tragic ending.

There is a huge message here for parents…or if you are planning on having children. Love your children…make them feel loved…laugh with them..care and protect them. It starts with that. Thank you Peter for bringing a huge light to this.

She's a trauma tourist telling other people's stories as if they were her own to gain attention and sympathy. All of the places she is telling us she uses to hook didn't even exist in the time period she said she was doing it. She's talking about her special bathroom she used to hide out in Aria. Except Aria wasn't built until 2009. She said quit in 1998. She's trying to tell lies but doesn't know enough Vegas history to know how ridiculous what she's saying actually is. You got duped by a pathologically lying narcissistic.
at 2:00 when she says she used to hook in all these hotels? Literally not a single hotel in that picture was built before 1998. None of them even existed.

Yes…I watched to the end….and to the person who said “she choose this life” …….well yes she DID choose that life…just like every addict. You choose food…drugs…sex…etc. whatever your addiction is…cigarettes! So when you are addicted you CHOOSE your addiction.
Most of us are different with OUR choices….we choose things for different reasons. Addiction brings a person down to the depths of despair. When a woman is abused in her childhood/teen physically or sexually or both they most of the time never come out of it on the other side as a normal functioning person. They will many times not feel worthy as a person so they turn to men to try to satisfy them because that’s all they think they are good for….it becomes an addiction of a complete mental illness. Think about it….so sad.

This documentary is living proof for people who don’t understand why having functional families and having good, understanding parents as role models are so important for society. The likelihood of women being manipulated and abused by these traffickers increases exponentially if they come from households where abuse is common because for them, this is natural.

    • @rosiekapun207
      @rosiekapun207 Рік тому +31

Unfortunately, how functional a family is depends on their culture as well. Many cultures have traditionally been patriarchal with outdated ideals in which women were not considered equals. So, parents repeat these values and girls grow up to believe it. It's a very complex issue but moving towards a more feminist society is probably the best remedy for centuries of mistreatment against women.

      @bliss4383 Рік тому +3

@@rosiekapun207 The most important job in the world is that of a mother. I think it’s in Sweden that women are given a 5-year maternity leave. I’m certain that’s because these are the most crucial years in childhood development. If a child is not nurtured (loved, mirrored, cuddled, cooed at, picked up, gets food and diaper changes when needed, etc.), the baby will suffer from neglect and abuse that results in at least one Personality Disorder. The mother will transfer Oxytocin, the Bonding Hormone, during her pregnancy and it’s critical that ties continued after that, in those crucial years. And if that doesn’t happen, you get a Donald Trump….although he also has Psychopathy, a genetic mutation, passed down from his father. His mother was dealing with a difficult and bleeding pregnancy with her next child, Robert, when Trump was 2 years old. Thus, in comorbidity with the inherited Psychopathy, he developed Cluster A Paranoid Personality Disorder and Cluster B Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
In China there used to be a One Child Rule, due to overpopulation. In that culture, sons are expected to care for their parents in ther elderly years. As such, if they had a female child, she was either aborted or put in an orphanage, where she and all the other female babies didn’t get the Nurturing every child needs and deserves.
In Christianity, God sees men and women as co-equals - joint heirs to the throne, but it’s evident they have differing roles. There will be trouble if the husband does not submit his life to Christ, but if he does, his wife will be more that happy to follow her husband, as the leader of the family. Jesus was a Servant Leader who led by love. Thus, a husband is to server his wife, and she is to serve her husband.
Feminism is simply a rebellion against men who do not lead and love women as Jesus did. Women had numerous prominent roles in the Bible. One excellent book and it’s follow-up, was 12 Extraordinary Women, followed by 12 Ordinary Men….written by my well-known and much loved Pastor, John MacArthur. His large church is truly bustling with happy, well-adjusted families.
But the world wants to tear the family apart, and a man want to be in control, because they reject this God of Love, Compassion, Service, Healing, as a Wonderful Counselor and Peace of Peace. He suffered brutally and died for teaching such things, and at a time when women were still nothing more than chattel. He taught men how to love women, not abuse them.
And he said, while surrounded by children, “If anyone harms one of these little ones, it is better that a millstone be hung around his neck and he be drowned in the bottom of the sea.” That’s Capital Punishment, so you can see how deadly serous he took child abuse.
By contrast, in cultures like Afghanistan, and Thailand, Pedophilia is the norm. Try catching up with Diane Langberg, Ph.D., a Psychologist and Pastor’s wife who’s a 50-year veteran Trauma Counselor, has a private practice in Philadelphia, and has done her work on 6 continents. But make no mistake, her focus has always been first and foremost to take on victims who have been abuse by their so-called” Christian husbands. Jesus and the Apostle Paul both warned of false converts, and repeatedly did so. But if men truly humble themselves, bowing their knee to Christ, learning his ways, that’s where the wonderful and healthy marriages and families begin.

When I was in the Navy stationed in San Diego CA. I knew a girl who was a victim of trafficking. Her street name was Candy. We were getting to know each other by hanging out and having coffee at Dennys in the late hrs of the evenings after leaving the clubs. I was never a trick for her; we would sit and talk about her life and what made me join the military. We started to get feelings for each other as I was trying to get her off the streets. I had to go out to Sea for a month doing coastal patrols and when I got back I went to the Dennys we'd meet at and I was sitting there for a long time. A young lady approached and asked me my name and I told her. She said she was Candy's real sister and that Candy was killed while I was out to sea. She said she wish Candy would have met me a long time before we did; she said Candy always wrote to her about me. I know she's in heaven now looking down on me because I was trying to get her life changed around. Thank you Annie for what you are doing out there in Vegas.

I personally don't think someone that is willing to dehumanize a person to that extent can be reformed, especially since so many that get out just end up doing it again. It should be an automatic life sentence in many, if not most, cases since they didn't mind imprisoning someone in an unending nightmare.

EVERYONE is a human being with a story, as Annie said. Terrorists who have done despicable, sadistic actions CAN learn to see & FEEL what they've done. Remember, those who are drawn into these kinds of activities have been SHUT OFF from their own humanity. It takes time & patience to reach them. Then even more time & patience for them to begin AT-ONE-MENT. It can be done. We find our humanity by guiding them to theirs. We LOSE our humanity with judgment & UNFORGIVENESS.

Sadistic human traffickers like Peter Scully (I don't recommend looking him up if you don't know who he is due to the story being rage inducing) are so unapologetically far gone in their sick ways that it makes it arguably impossible to believe someone like that can be rehabilitated, unless we get to an some sci-fi esque era where we can just go inside a sadist's head and clean up whatever is propelling them upon their arrest.
I personally don't know how rehabilitating them can be done, but I won't argue against forgiving them or recognizing their humanity while incarceration. I reminisce about days of former drug and alchohol abuse even though that was a dark time in my life. I was miserable at that time but I still found points of happiness and joy in that painful downward spiral. When a young person is warned about harmful lifestyles and they're painted only in an ugly light, if they go out and realize the allure/temptation behind it, they're bound to think their guardians lied to them and do it anyway, only to realize the truth too late.
But if we're honest in how alluring and even "fun" a destructive lifestyle can be, but put the weight on the depressing consequences and what those lifestyles are ACTUALLY doing to you, I think maybe you're giving them a fuller picture of what to look out for. Just my opinion though

Well, maybe those women passing out the fliers don't have time to think about it, either. Jeez, she is a big hypocrite. And she cannot say EVERY one who is a prostitute is being trafficked (that is not a fact)-. When Peter brought ups the prostitute form the Bunny Ranch or Cat House who was happy, she completely put in her own bias, and disregarded Peter's observation. Sorry, but she just come off as crazy. I had a friend who bought a small business on the iconic Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles about 15 years ago. She had a pure soul and was somewhat naive about the seedy realities of the street. She quickly realized a lot of her customers were young girls who were obviously working the street. She would even see young teenage girls who were being pimped. When she wasn't working, she decided she wanted to help some of these girls get off the streets. She basically tried to do what Annie is doing. Sadly it took such a toll on her that she ended up committing su***de. Unlike Annie, she was a complete stranger to that world, and she felt these girls were so brainwashed that her efforts were all a waste. She had such a positive spirit, but being unable to help these girls, especially the young kids, completely broke her. What Annie is doing is truly remarkable. This woman is a victim of her own greed and bad choices. She was not trafficked in the true sense of the word; there are actually people who get kidnapped and trafficked and have no choice but to do what they are told. This one brought her pimp to Vegas! She's quite proud of being a prostitute, and proud of her pimp; all you have to do is listen to her words. But... In the US, everyone is a victim these days. Lol

The place I worked at had a 'no male policy' with the exception of another social worker and a psychiatrist. These girls were literally dumped on our doorstep, beat to pulp, and we'd try our hardest to help them any way we could. It has changed me significantly and watching this breaks my heart, that nothing has changed. The only thing that gives me hope, are people like Annie, who will keep fighting and let their voice be heard. Keep doing what you do Annie, those girls all need your voice... and Ashley, too. It’s perfectly ok to have desires but not ok to take advantage of another sentient being who they know has limited opportunities. The worst part is a good majority of these type of men know, they just don’t care because it’s a woman problem then go onto be afraid when they have daughters.

She is so energetic. It's cool to listen to her because she keeps talking and telling stories. You essentially just have to ask a one liner question every now and then and from then on she takes the wheel and runs the show. I like it.

Extraordinary survival stories. I lived in LV and never knew about this. I never went to the casinos unless it was for commemorations or to pick up clients to look at housing. I commend these courageous girls to speak up. The lady who is rescuing the girls is doing a great job saving the the other girls through this program. Thank you for showing this reality.

U didn’t know that Vegas was crawling with prostitution?! From truck stops to strung up streets hookers to high-end escorts” & call-girls of all walks of life, body-types and ages. C’mon… No one is this naive ;)

33:33 and into the next ten minutes- watch how she can play those tears! That’s not crying that’s ACTING and it’s bad acting at that. 36:24 after she flip flops between fake crying and not crying she ADMITS she’s an actress!! “The BEST at acting” she says.
She is acting for the camera!!
Annie- I don’t act. I am REAL at ALL times with my clients. I don’t do anything I don’t want to do. I love the work. I have days I want to stay home like anyone else at any other vocation. Annie DOES NOT speak for anyone but Annie.
I wish this interviewer was interviewing myself and others. Unlike Annie I would acknowledge the reality and without the lies. She’s acting for the $$$$ still! The government is her pimp now!!!

Annie is an impressive human being. If she's able to save at least one person from that life, she's a hero. Imagine doing it 7 days a week and taking calls on your personal phone. That's dedication. She's also SO smart. In my opinion, this is one of Peter's top 5 videos.

Even when I was young and wild on all my trips to Vegas never once did I ever think of calling an escort or anything like that because I always felt sorry for the women doing that. I always felt nobody wants to do this for a living. I'm glad you made this documentary. Please help these people!!

Never been seriously tempted to pay for this type of entertainment either. I’ve been to Vegas and seen them sitting around at the slot machines by themselves dressed way too sexy to be anything else but whores. No thanks

@@MrNanah38but that's just her story silly. Not all women started off like her, wanting it. And she wanted it bc her life at home in her mind was worst bc of her father's abuse. Men are the reason alot of these things happen. Pay attention to what she was saying. If her life was better, she wouldn't have chosen this route. Alot of the woman are forced into this lifestyle, where you been?

Listen, I have watched a lot of UA-cam videos throughout my days. Your content, especially this video, is one of the best I have ever seen. There is no fakery or unnecessary cuts. It is just raw, pure material and an opportunity for people to really speak. Amazing, Peter! Annie and her team are a true blessing to the world!
